- in which I review the new eyeshadow palettes by Catrice for Fall/ Winter 2022. Meet The Dusty Matte, The Pure Nude, The Electric Rose and The Hot Mocca. We do a closeup look including swatches and a makeup look with each palette. For good measure I also throw in how I remove and fix my makeup to easily switch between different looks.

I know right?! It looks so boring but I was pretty impressed with the look I managed to create. And thanks for appreciating my efforts. My lids were not happy the next day.

Lovely review! I was looking for some details about these pallets and thank God I found you :) I actually ended up buying two of them - dusty matte and hot mocca. I think both would be perfect for autumn make-up.

I got 2 of these on my last trip to Vienna. I really like them. THey beat the high end palette in my opinion

The dusty and the rosy one remind me of the newer essence cool nude, but I like the color story of the essence one better so I guess I don't need these. I am somewhat intrigued by the hot mocca, like it's not my color story at all but there is something fun to it. I actually may.
I haven't really registered that Essence palette and what it looked like. I try so many of their things that I just lose track.
Hi Maaike I bought the matte palette and it's fine. I avoid the salmon colour (it is a strange undertone compared to the rest) and use this palette with one of the Kiko water shadows for a pop on the centre of the lid. For that purpose it's fine and it's easy to wear for me. I'm super pale so I don't need a lot of depth and there is enough here to round out a look. Perhaps the nude version would be ok on me, but I think one of them is enough. Truthfully it's more of a companion palette, to give me perhaps a crease shade I'm missing from another palette. You're right on the money with your description of that pink. It is indeed a salmon pink. It really doesn't go.

Nah they are nothing like it. Different color stories, different formula, different mattes/ shimmers.
