You need the extension in the following way
3/8 to 1/4 adapter connected to 1/4 12+ inch extensions connected to 1/4 to 3/8 adapter connected to the o2 sensor socket.

Mr Ranger I have a question the front is bank 2 and the back is 1?
Back cat near firewall is bank 1 front cat near radiator is bank 2.
I have code P0154 which appears to be what you’re fixing. I purchased an upstream sensor but apparently it’s upstream right and this “calls for” and upstream left? Does it matter?

Yes it did! MPG and performance was restored. Changing the O2 sensors also help too, according to some people.
I thought these were O2 sensors you changed? it says oxygen sensor right on the box?
@@eacjones O2 is how Oxygen is referred to on the Periodic Table in Chemistry. So they are one and the same.

I listed everything in the description
Air fuel ratio sensor = sensor 1
O2 sensor = sensor 2
Looks the same but wayyyy different functions
Little confused. You mentioned o2 parts are the same for both banks in the description. Does it matter if it is a downstream or an upstream part(I know this is upstream)?Cuz most parts' description mention downstream application. Can I still get those for upstream as well?
P.s I have 2010 odyssey with code p0154 bank 2 sensor 1
Downstream and upstream sensors are different sensors. Match the sensor you need with the video description.

This code can be triggered for a lot of reasons. First thing to check is for air leaks.

Ary Cabral Bank 1 is the rear bank 2 is the front. Sensors are same for both side.
There are no maintenance light on my 2007 Honda Odyssey exl dashboard, but it spend gas crazy. Can the oxygen sensor be the problem.
Could be a million of things. Start with air filter, MAF sensor if equipped, throttle body, etc.
I changed the air filter 2 weeks ago nothing changed.
You need to diagnose it further. Hook up a scan tool and check fuel trims.

What code do you have come up to do this replacement? I have code P0430 coming up and was told it was for to replace the cat converter. But others say its to replace this sensor.
The sensor in the video will trip a P0154. You need to test your cat to see if its bad. What year, model, mileage, is on the van? Does it have VCM? let me know then I can guide you the right direction. P0430 is the secondary sensor on bank 2.

No, you'll need part # 234-4355 from denso. VCM = Variable cylinder management. All models except LX came with VCM. Changing the sensor is not too difficult, you will have to work in a tight area.

P0430 is the secondary/downstream sensor on the catalytic converter behind the radiator.
How often should this be changed? Is it common to effect fuel economy?
It can vary, I would change the A/F sensors at 100k miles. The A/F sensor can affect fuel economy and performance. I would change the o2 sensors whenever the o2 sensor code triggers.
MrRangerZr1 isn’t the A/F and o2 sensor the same thing?
Two different animals. A/F sensor calculates the air fuel ratio and the o2 sensor just monitors the cat.
