I spent a few full playthroughs in WOTC including maxed hostile settings. Couple of tips if you wanna give this a playthrough: 1. Early game ghouls are a huge problem for you, but for most of the game Children of Atom are the biggest threat. Having a group of 10 to your left and 10 to your right with radiation weapons pretty much means instant death. 2. Your ability to run through is overrated mid to late game. You will need to be able to do this, especially to progress the story, but you need to be in the fight as often as possible. Lots of things spawn, look for wars with enemies you can handle and sift through the rubble. Lots of useful weapons, armors, and ammo on the dead. 3. High strength is a good thing. Carry capacity is important because you're going to want a weapon for each ammo type. 4. Don't be afraid to adjust the settings. If you want a challenge and not chaos turn it down a bit. 5. Don't be afraid to install appropriate partnering mods like increasing the amount of ammo in the world. This is a war, bullets shouldnt be hard to come by! 6. The Railroad and Synths will be hostile towards you unless if you sign up with their specific faction. 7. The brotherhood will come out IN FORCE after they arrive. Do not anger the brotherhood, they are the most formidible force Fallout has ever known in WOTC. With max hostile settings they will not appear in huge numbers if you are friendly, but if you make an enemy of them you will have packs of wild helos chase you across the world with hundreds of brothers on your tail. 8. Growing the minutemen helps a lot! The bigger the minutemen faction the more minutemen who spawn to patrol. Max the number of settlements you have and you will never be too far from a friendly face. 9. Friendly faction NPCs who spawn in the world will turn against you if you hit them too many times. This doesn't make the faction turn against you, just the NPCs in front of you.
I've used this mod for years, to the point that the game feels a bit empty without it. It's super fun but adds a lot of challenge to the early game. It loves to spawn groups of tough ghouls and Forged. It also makes base building a bigger deal because you need some decent defenses to fall back to if you get overwhelmed. Far Harbor with it sucks though. Even at the lowest levels it will spawn huge groups of enemies and the worst are Children of Atom who all seem to have nuka grenades.

I did a full play through with this on and can confirm that veritbirds spawn after the arrival of the prydwen. You can bypass this with some of the alt start mods that progress the game to certain points so you can roll play/ start from other areas. Combining this mod w/ the zombie walkers mod makes for a super good zombie sim btw. Allows you to customize ever npc’s spawn and what you want them to be (ex: changing 25% of raider spawns to super mutants.).
I played a similar mod, everything on max. Came out of the vault to 3 vertibirds a liberty prime and a bunch of other stuff. It added something like 2500 spawn points. It's fun to play if you mod OP weapons into the game or cc your stats/skills.
This was immensely entertaining to watch, Jon. On a side note, since I started watching your channel in early 2016, I’ve been married, divorced, had two children and married again. All against the backdrop of watching your fallout videos every Sunday. Thank you for being a part of my life Jon, you wonderful sausage.
This might be the most fun Fallout vid I have seen so far. I'm really tempted to try out this mod for myself without even bothering to do the story quests or anything, just try to survive, arm myself to the teeth and jump into Battle again and again!
I thought that Mirelurk Hunter at around the 41-minute mark was labeled "Mirelurk Knight", and I thought for a second I had forgotten a sub-variant of the species. Honestly, with Kings and Queens, calling them knights would have been a smart move. They could've gone for a chess theme and made giant armored variants called rooks
Doing this on survival mode with modern firearms, turns the game into a tactical horror shooter survival hell. Also makes it extremely immersive as well as other immersive adding mods. It’s so fun, the worst part is the beginning, particularly until you get any type of modern firearm yourself, find a mod that gives you just like a basic M-16 or something in sanctuary, but it is also fun to try for hours on end until you stumble on one randomly, but once you do that a couple times It’s OK to cheat a little. The level of replayability that fallout four has thanks to many mods like this it’s just so amazing, I see myself playing it for many more years to come
If i'm not mistaken this mod also works with mods that add enemies into the game so if you want extra BS unbeatable chaos then add Mutant Managerie, M's Abominations, Children of Ul-Qualtoth, Aliens, Enclave Remenants and any other mod that adds enemies that you know of. Nothign more chaotic than fighting two Wanamingos while Raiders toss Terror Grenades(That spawn Children of Ul-Qualtoth) at you while also dodging lasers that UFO's are shooting at you.
For some reason my favorite thing about this video is just the ambience that constant gunfire and explosions in the background produces. It really sounds like you're on a proper battlefield.
Careful with this mod, Jon. If you crank everything up to max, you can easily find that the mod becomes a crash simulator. I’ve personally played with this mod a lot. It’s fun, but if you don’t pace it out, fo4 will not appreciate it
I wouldn't mind a full run of this mod, only set to around 6/10 rather then 11/10. Aka, nuts, but not game breaking. Maybe call the character "Oh No Walk"
I don't know if Fallout 4 always did this, but there seem to be enemies falling from the sky like happens with large animals in Skyrim sometimes, so we have that glitch back
I know this must have been chaotic for you, but this was so funny. You ran cover to cover, shouting over the explosions and trying to explain your plan and pathing and kept stopping to go "So we're going- AH thats a pack of glowing ones lets not go there- and anyway-OH power armour raiders NOPE- anyway as i was !!!!!" Comedy gold.
Unfortunately, I don't see how to make something like this into a proper series. Not on it's own. It would be interesting to see him play through a heavily modded (but w/o total overhaul mods like Frost) game with overworld encounters turned up very high as part of it. So this could be part of a series, especially if the mod has settings to reduce spawns near 'peaceful' areas (for want of a better general term). But the game is basically unplayable in the state Jon set it to. You just have to make your own fun with it. Though I suppose there's maybe a 3 part series in this if Jon can think of an appropriate goal to aim for besides "Run across the map."
@@Sines314 I'm not sure about a series, but monthly challenges, maybe? Like crossing the Glowing Sea, or working through Boston from Bunker Hill to Quincy? Those could be hysterical "one offs." @@Sines314 I agree that a series would be either very short or next to impossible (take your pick), but the odd "one off" feature based on challenges of increasing difficulty (although Jon chose a pretty rough destination from the jump). Think like west-to-east from Sunshine Tidings to Libertalia, graduating to going the length of the Glowing Sea, or some such. Keep using the same character so you level up and increase chances of survivability. You tell me when that is on and I'll be in the front row with hot, buttered popcorn.

SKK combat stalkers replaced this mod for me a long time ago, never looked back. Also SKK, if you so chose, can spawn adds indoors. Nothing like Super Mutants spawning in Diamond City.
I'm still waiting to see a NO VATS run. Pick the Fallout(but no cheating by just using Speech in NV) beat the whole game without VATS. If you've managed to get in to Soulslikes it's time to challenge yourself with something more shooty!
@@polygondwanaland8390 Well that's the point really, if he can become decent at Soulslikes he can aim without relying on VATS eventually, there's hope!
I feel there was a missed opportunity here. Imagine if you also installed a mod that makes every enemy legendary - THAT would be chaos. Still a fantastic video, much like the rest of your content :) P.S. Hope you are feeling better!
Jon, if ever you get the chance to use stealth, always pick off the low-level enemies first and then start going after the high-level enemies. If you go for the high-level enemies first, the low-level enemies, even though they're weaker and don't hit as hard, can kill you before you manage to kill the high-level enemies. Always wait until the high-level enemy/enemies are the last ones to kill. If there are multiple high-level enemies left to kill, kill the ones that are closer to you and then work your way to the ones farther away. If you get into a situation when a high-level enemy that is closer to you than the low-level enemies, place down some mines for the high-level enemy to step on and continue killing all of the low-level enemies. (Recommended to use VATS in a situation like that) Eventually the high-level enemy should notice you shooing past them and should start running towards you which will then lead them to stepping on the mines and either dying or coming very close to dying. You should only kill the high-level enemies first if you HAVE TO, or if killing the high-level enemy first will give you an advantage. The only time I can really think of when you can get the advantage of killing the high-level enemies first, is when there is a Super Mutant Suicider and you shoot the nuke making not only the Suicider, but also the other Super Mutants around him die. I think you'll know when you absolutely HAVE to kill the high-level enemies first. Usually you'll get a gut feeling telling you that you HAVE to kill the high-level enemies first otherwise you'll be dead.

Also Jon: *Runs away, blundering into more enemies in the process*
You'd really be better off investing in sneak...
I would agree, but with all the extra enemies would it really help much?
@@ALLMINDmercenarysupportsystem I mean, pretty much every time he made forward progress, it's because he was sneaking. Especially at the end when he somehow had 0 HP. Fighting and sprinting typically ended in death. So... yes.
@@trogdor8764 Yes, I suppose you're right.
Jon utilizing the Jostar family technique of running away.
I played a similar mod, everything on max. Came out of the vault to 3 vertibirds a liberty prime and a bunch of other stuff. It added something like 2500 spawn points. It's fun to play if you mod OP weapons into the game or cc your stats/skills.
Omg!!! Has it been years already? I hadn't expected Jon to be back in Boston until at least 2026!!! Sure hope you use this for a new playthrough.
This was a very entertaining and fun romp through death land lol. I would love to see you do this as you try to speed run the main quest line in FO4.
You could drink the ocean water to regain health near the end lol
This was immensely entertaining to watch, Jon. On a side note, since I started watching your channel in early 2016, I’ve been married, divorced, had two children and married again. All against the backdrop of watching your fallout videos every Sunday. Thank you for being a part of my life Jon, you wonderful sausage.
To quote Benor:
"That's... that's... wow."
Maybe slow down a bit bruv
@@Gwyllgi deffo. I think more stuff has actually happened in my life in the same period, but most of that has not been in my hands.
Huh? How quickly did you remarry exactly? 😆
I’m surprised Jon chose to compare this video to the Odyssey at the end rather than the Anabasis. It seems much more fitting.
Putting all of the WotC menus on max will cause even a Cray Super Computer to CTD within minutes.
"It turns out it was a super-mutant with a missile launcher."
*Has flashbacks to "You Only Live Once" epsisode "Hagan Dies"...*
This is pure chaos, Jon. My girlfriend said "this is always how it is when I play!" 😂😂
Outstanding. ❤️
Hope you're feeling well Jon. Glad to have new Fallout videos.
With all settings at max you can expect frequent CTD.
The level of replayability that fallout four has thanks to many mods like this it’s just so amazing, I see myself playing it for many more years to come
4:21 Glad to see I'm not the only one who always thinks that debris is a holotape.
I turned Fallout 4 into a shooter, Im doing a playthrough with a mod that makes every enemy legendary
Reduce the respawn rate a bit to give time to loot and this would be fun on survival.
For some reason my favorite thing about this video is just the ambience that constant gunfire and explosions in the background produces. It really sounds like you're on a proper battlefield.
Now all we need need is fallout 4 you only live once war of the commonwealth edition
This is the kind of stuff that I love, and even more when I'm not the one right in the middle of it.
Runs into Cricket multiple times, doesn't buy Spray n Pray.
That gun is expensive. Pretty sure Oh No Run never had more than 30 caps.
@@buddychrist296 He was right next to Diamond City and was constantly picking up loot right outside its gates. Easy to farm the caps needed.
Imagine the Glowing Sea in this mod...
Fallout Sunday is one of my favorite days of the week!
Careful with this mod, Jon. If you crank everything up to max, you can easily find that the mod becomes a crash simulator. I’ve personally played with this mod a lot.
It’s fun, but if you don’t pace it out, fo4 will not appreciate it
I turned this up to max on all settings. It was literally impossible to talk to any NPC outside.
I have not laughed so hard in a long time. Thank you SOOOO much, Jon!
I LOVE THIS MOD ITS PURE CHAOS
I wouldn't mind a full run of this mod, only set to around 6/10 rather then 11/10. Aka, nuts, but not game breaking. Maybe call the character "Oh No Walk"
This was such a great video!! The comedy, drama, idk how another one off could ever top it! 😅
Remember guys. This mod brakes save.
I don't know if Fallout 4 always did this, but there seem to be enemies falling from the sky like happens with large animals in Skyrim sometimes, so we have that glitch back
Pretty sure he fell of the roof, there's a spawn point up there
3 minutes in, 1st death to the sheer chaos. Love it.
I love your fallouts videos so much. Chaos randomizer, super hardcore playthroughs. They are so great.
one day Jon will figure out that you can aim. Today isn't that day (love you Jon)
Just your average walk through Chicago
I have debated putting this mod in my list. This should make my mind up.
Love this mod, this and Endless Warfare are really fun. Chaos, Chaos everywhere.
This needs to be a regular feature -- I haven't laughed so hard since Jon built the no exit city in city skylines.
Those could be hysterical "one offs." Keep the same character, so you level up and can survive longer with each play through. Tell me when that's on and I'll be there with hot buttered popcorn!
@@Sines314 I agree that a series would be either very short or next to impossible (take your pick), but the odd "one off" feature based on challenges of increasing difficulty (although Jon chose a pretty rough destination from the jump). Think like west-to-east from Sunshine Tidings to Libertalia, graduating to going the length of the Glowing Sea, or some such. Keep using the same character so you level up and increase chances of survivability. You tell me when that is on and I'll be in the front row with hot, buttered popcorn.
Jon, I want to give you my sincere thanx for giving us more Fallout 4. It is the first game I ever saw you play and also my favorite game in many years. I am willing to admit I don't truly deserve it. However, I simply must ask if you think there is any possibility you could find enough enjoyment in creating a play thru series of this mod? 🤞I and many many others I am sure would love to see it.
Just imagine this on survival mode. Pure chaos. I love it
Jon we really need a series of this. This is gold.
Was on the edge of my seat the entire time, this'll definitely shape up to be an interesting series!
The sheer chaos of this mod combined with Modern Firearms would be absolute insanity and I'll have to try it now.
SKK combat stalkers replaced this mod for me a long time ago, never looked back. Also SKK, if you so chose, can spawn adds indoors. Nothing like Super Mutants spawning in Diamond City.
Skk only spawn 1 squad , never creat war
I'm still waiting to see a NO VATS run.
Pick the Fallout(but no cheating by just using Speech in NV) beat the whole game without VATS. If you've managed to get in to Soulslikes it's time to challenge yourself with something more shooty!
I couldn't watch that. Jon's ADS is just incredibly, incredibly painful to watch.
Still a fantastic video, much like the rest of your content :)
P.S. Hope you are feeling better!
this video is still so much fun, years on. I really do love your fallout one-offs 😄
This is just "so anyway, i started running" the mod, and i love it❤
This is somehow more chaotic than your completely randomized FNV playthrough.
Hello this is John and this is a modded run of you live only once. 2:50 and I am dead. Okay see you later folks.
I see WOTC and instantly think of Xcom 2
Doing the dog meat chase quest with this thing on is pretty crazy. (Highest spawn rate and difficulty.)
so glad you uploaded a fallout video I enjoy all your fallout videos I could binge watch them all
Quite a turn of events when a brit goes by land instead of sea.
44:54 I don't know how this miracle happened but I'd be happily taking the rads and going to that shore and drinking my way into some health.
