This mod has been truly spectacular. How much more involved it feels than the base game, it feels bigger, and more all-encompassing. The base game just feels like it was one act in the story, just the process of building your allies. Marvellous, a tremendous achievement by all involved!
It's the Little details of this mod I love. Someone made map asset for the attack for them to plan with, but it could have been some random map or pipbou image. But someone clearly wrote it out.
I feel like Jon's best friends in the Brotherhood should have some things to say about him using an orbital nuke to wipe out a city, seeing as it is 100% exactly precisely what the Brotherhood's technology hoarding was meant to prevent!
No they would just want it for themselves, and as Jon is a member that is totally acceptable. The Brotherhood are totally fine with their own member using weapons of mass destruction
Let's not mention the unstoppable giant robot that tosses nukes around like footballs (American footballs) that they spent several decades inventing and rebuilding.😂
I thought atomic rain was meant to be *many* nuclear missiles, that one explosion was a little anticlimactic, particularly after yesterdays FOLon video with the London Eye
Advent? Is this an XCOM crossover? Fun fact: The first time I played this mod I entirely skipped the supermarket nuke quest because I didn't bother hunting down the gunners. Well, the first time after I got stuck because the sniper didn't spawn...
Well at least your team was dressed for the final battles. Everyone in my final battle from HQ was dressed in Gunner armor and no clothing. I was also kind of lucky to have Salvador as an uninvited companion for most of p[art 3. Good body guard. This was fun. Hope they come out with SS3.
BETHESDA WEEK is almost over... And even if i agree that Sim Settlements did drag thing out it was still a great adventure and a great mod. See you all at the finale!!!
I can't imagine playing Fallout 4 without this mod regardless of what other mods I've got on. Seems like the new base game for me. I'm currently running it with War of the Commonwealth on the No Remorse preset. Every so often turning off the spawns if it's needed to complete a task in Sim Settlements.
You know, I could imagine the Brotherhood saw "air support", thought about their limited vertibirds, saw how tall Liberty Prime was, and figured "Eh, close enough". To be fair it would have been right, too, Prime anywhere is overwhelming superiority. Really, should have just deployed *it* to the Gunner stronghold city, no need for all this orbital strike stuff.
Wonder if the mod that changes the Brotherhood storyline to allow you to basically make peace with most of the other factions would allow you to recruit more people for the final battle...
There’s the perfect minuteman ending in the base game where you keep everyone alive except the institute and supposedly that allows you to have all 3 factions involved in the ending
@@bacaestrife3615 I wish there was a mod that integrated America Rising 2 ending into this. It doesn’t conflict but it doesn’t add the enclave to the finale
Yes but to do that you'll need 2 mods, one for sparing the railroad, and one for taking over the institute rather than destroying it. But keep in mind, such mods can create some unwanted consequences, such as you won't be able to take to the ppl in railroad anymore after the main quest, as they should have been dead in the og BOS ending, so their scripts somewhat get blocked by the game. You also potentially won't be able to talk to certain npcs in BOS, depending on how the mod handles the final BOS quest against the institute. It will work but can be quite buggy and messy in the end
Without extra mods you can get at most one faction alliance regardless of who is left alive (i.e. no Minutemen support for Jon). SS2 is very mod friendly but I can't imagine that it would be easy to allow multiple alliances given that there are cutscenes with the SS2 VAs which would require extra voice lines if the cutscene is supposed to make any sense with multiple factions.
I’d think the whole point of these games is the folly of “mutually assured destruction” and the lamentation of nuclear warfare being a game where the only way to win is to not play, but big explosions fun, so Atomic Rain is always justified.
I sort of miss hearing Jon saying Mayor Bob. I have American ears. In my head "mayor" has two syllables. And the r is pronounced. Jon, quite delightfully, says mayor as maeh. Almost, but not quite as one syllable, one phoneme. Like a female horse if you forgot to say the r. Ma(r)e. Mahh.
Thank you for killing Clint* in embarrassing fashion. Very satisfying. *Clint is an effective non-character in vanilla Fallout 4 who is a Gunner stationed at Quincy; it is revealed in terminal logs that he is an ex-minuteman who sold out Preston and the other Minutemen to the Gunners leading to the Quincy massacre. I do not like him.
Day 255 of requesting Age of Mythology. I like to think that nobody told X6-88 anything, so he would've happily just sat back and done his job if they hadn't suddenly turned their guns on a largely innocent synth.
Because Jon has somehow convinced himself that the pitiful amount of perk points required for these perks is not worth it. Remember though: Investing two perk points for +10 AP is totally worth it.
Jake: My god, I had no idea"
Jon: Is that it? I've put more explosives than that on a ferris wheel!"
🤣🤣🤣I just watched that episode of Fallout: London before this😂
Game: "Oh quick look out there's a sniper now-"
Assaultrons: *double death ray into the distance*
Game: "- ah. Carry on."

I like how jon build into gun-fu and penetrator and then stops using guns that can use either of those, lol.
Advent Gunners are only active between 1st and 24th December. The rest of the year they have leave.
And ever day you get a different chocolate from them when you open up their corpse.
Jon’s having a great time nuking things in Fallout lately hasn’t he?!
Knowing mayor Bob, it's probably gonna be Victory AND copious amounts of death

well, they did very recently nuke the institute themselves

Liberty Prime rocking up was beautiful, I'll be honest
Jon committing war crimes. Also Jon: "Could I have done *more* war crimes though?

Jon if the nuke cloud was giant you'd be in range of the deadly radiation. Vault Boy has taught you this dammit!

fabulous and spectacular. Liberty prime was great. I want one.
Great episode! Look forward to the finale. I'm a bit sad, though, I'll miss this series 😕
I can't believe you started this around the time of Starfield! This is what a game should be!
Death please. CAKE, CAKE, I MEANT CAKE sorry.
Well we're OUT OF CAKE!
we didn't know there would be such a rush

Watched it all don't worry, its good 👍
THAT, was crazy fun. Ty Jon.

As someone who lives with a Bostonian... it's pronounced Quinzee.
not gonna lie, i would've appreciated it if you could actually fail the reactor puzzle with a spectacular explosion hahaha
What do you mean Jon, Liberty Prime is the only air support you need!

Happy, Kinggath?
How is he level one million and still can't hack computers?

Same reason why he has a crit luck build yet didn't invest more in critical banker
Or having gun fu and penetrator and then using a gun that can't trigger gun fu or penetrator. (Ap cost too high and energy weapons can't pen)
I love jon i really do. But I can't be the only one who get unreasonably annoyed when he just repeat the same word or phrase 3-6 times
