Modern Sonic's joke about the upcoming video game "Metaphor: ReFantazio" and its protagonist's color scheme. It compares the character's color to both classic and modern from SEGA's Sonic the Hedgehog (blue) and Stocke from ATLUS' "Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology" (red). However, Modern Sonic kills Red from Angry Birds.
Those menu's have more personality than many recent games I have played.
Typical for atlas, I'm sure theres hidden symbolism everywhere

I think these are actually reused from P3Re?? It looks really similar and I think is really cool because this is DEF the main product, so to see overlap for a side remake is really neat!

This game looks absolutely incredible so far! The characters, UI design, Archetpyes, environments, and mechanics look amazing and the combat looks like so much fun!
Hope this is turn based. If what they showed here is action combat it looks iffy.

My speculation is
You can take down the weaker enemies that you know you can defeat instead of initiating a turn based battle while for the stronger enemies you can initiate a turn based battle.
Only "criticism" i have right now is that the archetypes shown are look a lot like each other. They said there are more than 100. So really hope there are big differences and weve only seen the starting ones. Hopefully not like the common blades in xenoblade 2.

Not many people would include this much of the in game menus in their trailers, but, it makes sense for this game’s lineage.
Exactly. I could watch a feature movie just showing their menus and will tell a more compelling story, than many movies or games.

Day one and my most anticipated game of the year easily
I liked everything about the trailer. But that lovely little scene at the end of exploring, eating, and watching the sky was really nice.

My all time favorite thing about this is the gauntlet runner. The view while it's hauling across the various landscapes look sooo satisfying, almost like your on a luxury train but better.

This definitely looks more than worth the wait since its initial reveal as Project Re:Fantasy.
The dub is phenomenal lol I'm a sub snob, but this is one of the first times I feel compelled to play with the English voice actors
I agree, I like the detail that they gave them this accent because they live in fantasy version of UK, but Pixie has an American accent
I agree, my first language is not English, so I normally play these games in Japanese (I'll still do that for this one) but the quality of the English dub really surprised me

Atlus is known for their banger Dubs (for the most part). Persona dubs are by many considered to be better than the Main Japanese versions.

Not putting this on the switch 2 would be an absolute shame. Whats better than travelling with a game thats all about travelling? Looking forward to taking this with me on vacation, if it ends up on the switch 2 that is.

It’s been common knowledge that the game is coming to all current modern systems (PS5, Series X/S and PC) since it was first re-announced. Atlus simply has a marketing first kinda deal with Microsoft recently.
This was confirmed loooong before this trailer came out lmao.

They did not release the collector's edition of the game but the definitive one with all its history included.

This honestly feels like goty contender. Not that I think there's much competition this year (FF7 Rebirth and like a dragon infinite wealth are like, the only other contenders in my mind)
