As much as I love Shoji Meguro’s poppy/jazzy/hip-hoppy rock tunes he uses for Persona, I am SO absolutely pumped to hear him finally get to do an epic orchestral fantasy score. This sounds like Kingdom Hearts crossed with Fire Emblem, and I am 120% here for it.
The opening 20 seconds remind me of a specific track from Kingdom Hearts II, and the epic choir sounds straight out of Final Fantasy XV, which had the same composer. The male vocals and most of the middle are definitely Fire Emblem: Three Houses, though.

The fact that the chants and choirs in this is in Esperanto a universal auxiliary language created in the 1800s that takes the place as the main language used in this game is so cool really leans into the “united kingdom” aspect

Please don't associate Metaphor with something like Fire Emblem. FE being way too anime is what killed TMS. What separated MegaTen from other anime styled RPGs, is the fact that they are written like real people.

Its a culmination of Atlus RPGs overall and i wouldnt completely write them off as the game is a love letter to atlus games. It appears to use press turn which is a hall mark of modern SMT. You can vaguely say the real time combat is strikers related but you could say its just Musou. Where as the job system, skill trees, some of the enemy designs, and item names are reminiscent of Etrian Odyssey (Ariande Threads for example is item used to warp out of dungeons). Not that, etrian odyssey created job systems you can always say FF or wizardry. But those influenced Etrian Odyssey. Its quite seriously a love letter of Atlus more intriguing design elements into a new IP. Persona isnt the main thing influencing it, Atlus during the DS and PS2 era is influencing it.
I think the last time I heard a battle theme as good as this is when "Moebius battle" kicked in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. These tracks are on another level. I love to think I've heard everything after 30 years of gaming and still be surprised like this. It's proof of evolution and that our rpgs are in good health.
