blatantly a bloodborne clone, yes minus the weapon transformation system. Which for me is the MOST defining feature of bloodborne. But yes lots of the smaller mechanics/details that are the same as BB
Actually the combat is A LOT closer to Sekiro. * Timing your guard to build enemy posture break/stagger is a big one. Bloodborne did not use martial weapons to block at all. * Lies has a rally health system common to both Sekiro and Bloodborne. * Lies and Sekiro are primarily about guarding attacks or perfect guard. Bloodborne had NO guard mechanics at all. Ripostes (not to be confused with guard) were done via a gun. So there you have it. Lies does share a Gothic sort of aesthetic with BB but that was Victorian. The architecture is rather different.
@@newtonslore okay? But my comment has nothing to do with LoP at all specifically but rather the idea of what I believe would truly be a real BB clone more then calling a D20 and a ball clone

This game is nothing like Sekiro. In any way shape or form. Why because you can parry and a stagger bar? So if a game has those features then it's sekiro like LOL Sekiro is the greatest game ever made. The combat is second to none in any developed game ever. Lies of p is a fun game. But you're doing sekiro a disservice by comparing it. There just is no comparison. Sekiro is on a another level in every way.
Loved Sekiro, it was a masterpiece! Lies doesn't have much in common but it's just plain wrong to say it has nothing in any form in common. This dev freely admit that they are in awe of Fromsoft and took inspiration from many of their games l, including Sekiro. The posture break/stagger is an example. Just because they do a lesser job in the execution, doesn't invalidate the comparison. In fact, they have done a fair job imo considering it's a debut title. Imagine what Neowiz might do when they have another 10-15 yrs under their belt (like Fromsoft).
It’s more like sekiro than bloodborne that’s for sure. Combat wise. It’s like paying sekiro with kuros charm active. Miss a parry get hurt. Same thing here. Sekiro in its base state is too easy. You can spam parry and get through the game fine.

How you realy Ruin it... Use the Boss "Souls"... I startet a new game after i realised it...
is this your first character action rpg ever? boss drops into items/weapons has been a normal and expected thing from these games for well over 15yrs at this point
@@JoJoZakamaybe ofr different games you get a weapon automatically. It feels like this game is getting a lot of people into souls form the comments I'm seeing
I call this game Budget Bloodborne
A bit of a warning here guys about WeMod at the beginning of this game. If you use, WeMod do not go into an early area earlier than what is expected meaning when you get to Kratt hotel, there’s a room upstairs that is supposed to be Geppetto‘s room and it is locked. Do not use the fly through walls cheat to get in there, because if you do this and then sit in the chair and choose the P Organ option, you will break your game. I had to learn the hard way in now. I cannot access the P Oregon. The option will never show up when I sit in the chair so I’m screwed don’t do it.
how is this spoiler free if u show us the bosses man
The fact that you have to heavy attack after stagger bar is flashig ruins this game for me, very bad design choice.
Lies of P is to bloodbourn as eldenring is to dark souls
blatantly a bloodborne clone, yes minus the weapon transformation system.
@@newtonslore I COULD have listed all the details that LoP copies from BB but that would be taking away from the point of the comment and again would have nothing to do with sekiro
@@RubescentDragon Neowiz were up front about their admiration for Fromsoft. They emulated aspects from several of their games. The prosthetic weapon arm is a huge Sekiro influence - all the combat is. The aesthetic borrows from BB. The summon, Elden Ring. I COULD go on... 🤔
Good, as an Xbox player I haven't been able to play BB
This game is nothing like Sekiro. In any way shape or form. Why because you can parry and a stagger bar? So if a game has those features then it's sekiro like LOL Sekiro is the greatest game ever made. The combat is second to none in any developed game ever. Lies of p is a fun game. But you're doing sekiro a disservice by comparing it. There just is no comparison. Sekiro is on a another level in every way.
Yeah we know Lies of P is better than Sekiro but could a Sekiro 2 ever be better than Lies of P?
Fax, the demon bell and kuros charm is the only way I can play Sekiro
Second?
First?
no mage class , i will not buy this game , will wait to lords of the fallen
Will play this like bloodborne. Sekiro was such trash. The gameplay and bosses with its bad tutorials made it the worst soulslike game of all time
Some people just don’t get it, once you do it’s the most rewarding of them all
@user-ns4zm8qe9p I get it. World fighting is dark souls fighting but teach you to be stealth and not to face bosses in a completely different manner. Not fun, such trash
You can spew whatever you want, it won GOTY for a reason. If you couldnt beat Shigenori Yamauchi just say that 🤣
@@TopherPeloso-r6r you clearly don’t get it if you think it’s like dark souls, my brotha you have got to see what you can do with the tools you’re given
@user-ns4zm8qe9p I don't think k it's like dark souls, I'm talking about the gameplay forcing you to stealth kill because of the mass amount of enemies you can't fight like dark souls. You can't fight many opponents at once either. The bosses they make you fight are like dark souls. So the training you get from gameplay in the normal parts set ulyou up to fail. Nothing you will say will change my mind until they change sekiro or just ban it entirely which would make a better choice
Another game pass W
fr, gotta wait until tomorrow tho to play it :/
