This 👆 I'm consciously playing at just under the 60% weight mark, but when I experimented with throwing the lightweight frame, liner etc on I could see a noticeable difference.
True... but that's a problem. You shouldn't be punished with a bad dodge for having moderate weight. You don't start off light weight, so why would any noob expect they have to drop all heavy weapons and parts, and max out capacity just to get a good dodge? It basically makes the game a capacity grind, and parts being heavy means every build ends up being a glass cannon, i.e. no build variety.
@@charlesqbanks sounds like you're bending all your effort towards dodge spamming instead of engaging with the perfect guard. Sekiro is a really good similar souls like where the emphasis is on perfect blocking rather than dodging but I gotta say if you can manage the timings in this game Sekiro will feel way easier than this.
I've played all the souls games. I suck at parry. Never let anyone tell you that you need to "get gud." That is bullshit. The devs made it hard on purpose so that only a few people can actually do it. This game demanding players do it will probably lead to lower sales numbers.

I just started the game and have been figuring things out on my own but was curious to know if someone had done one of these. I really like the way you deliver the information. It’s very concise and to the point.
If you've been playing souls games you're going to have a rough time making the adjustment Dodge roll is not the way to go in this game You're basically forced to constantly parry and I hope they nerf it a bit because the windows are very small and the timing changeups are pretty tricky
It's like Sekiro where the game expects perfect guards/parrys instead of dodging but with much tighter timings. I'm only about 4 bosses in so far and the perfect guard window makes Sekiro feel like a cakewalk.
You can role but it shouldn't be your go to although it is very good in multiple situations. Just make sure you are below 60% weight for your dodges to be good.
Also guys this is pretty late but there is a type of handle that gives you an ability called perfect defense. It uses 1 fable every time you use the ability but it let's you perfect guard an attack by putting you in a stance for roughly 1 second. It makes it extremely easy to perfect guard red attacks or any attacks that give you trouble.
If you're doing advance build you gotta work in Fable Arts and Legion Arm usage into your playstyle. The early game advance weapons usually have a damage buff fable art that give a DRASTIC boost to your damage like holy moley the difference is immediately noticable. Your legion arms become very good as well depending how you like the play because 4 of them scale off your advance. Personally I used the flame one for crowd control and the spark one for quick damage, and later in the game the acid one becomes extremely useful for *reasons*.

I cannot find a single video anywhere that explains exactly how to increase stamina regeneration rate!!! Yes I know how to add stamina what I don't know how to do is fix it from taking 10 years to refill It fills up so slowly it's borderline ridiculous. And I even have the stamina amulet and it's still ridiculously slow
Kinda late but yes that's what it means. The 100 is the normal weapon damage and the 17 extra is what you get from the weapon scaling. So for example, if the weapon has a C rating in technique and you have 6 points invested in technique those 6 points will grant your weapon extra damage represented as the + 17 you see. So in total you are indeed doing 117 overall damage based on the weapon's damage plus extra damage based on your character's stats. Also the higher the weapon scaling the higher damage you will do with the stats you have. So a B scaling weapon will do more than a C scaling weapon in technique or motivity. You can also increase the weapon's scaling with a crank. For example, if the weapon has a C scaling for Motivity and you alter the handle using a Motivity crank it will go to B scaling which will somewhat boost your damage.

8:25 NO FOR GOD SAKES NOOOO!!!! Worst advice bro what r u doing!?! You need to b upgrading both in the P ORGAN my boi!!! Legion arm has passive regeneration and after kill Regen!! Fable has perfect blocking, fatal regen. Both have the consumable refill affectivness!! These consumables to refill the magazine n the one for fables drop like candy. Shouldn't have any problem sticking up on them!!! Don't waste your hard earned ergo on buying so much of these. Plus u can get another p organ upgrade that refills your fable after u die!!! Dudes got maybe one or two good tips on this list!!! Smfh🙄💯🤣🙄💯
i didn't start with any pulse cells and nothing on google tells me how to get them, did i do something wrong?
edit: i found out how to get them, only took 2 bosses in
good vide , But @10:20 , I disagree , enemies in this game are slow and predictable compared to stuff like elden ring , wo long , etc.
I am able to avoid the attacks just by 'WALKING" or "DOdging" on the side .
It is as if the attacks were going in a straight line
Most move slow but it's still tricky. A lot of attacks can seem to have little or no wind up and can come out very fast, too fast to manage with the games incredibly tight blocking window.
Im having trouble knowing where to go in this game. How do you view your current mission? Last I played I had just met Geppetto for the first time, I was unable to play for a couple of days now I dont know where to go. The select or view button on my Xbox controller does not do anything when I press it.
Walk past the carriage that the mad donkey was holding Geppetto in, to the of bridge get the ergo that's off to the left behind the broken carriage use the key you got from Geppetto and unlock the gate to city hall and go from there.
top left is health lol
I gave up im just not ment to perfectly be perfect to move forward in the mid story.
Just gonna watch someone else lost their mind or just a perfect run
Potions? That's a hypodermic needle
🤪
Two words for anyone struggling with some attacks and parrying: Absolute Defense.
The dodge and perfect guard timing are ruining my experience with this game and it's really bumming me out.... great vid though!
Try increase your carry weight and reduce weight under 30% it improove dodge so much I couldn't recomend it more. I picked rapier and put All My exp in carry it helped me becouse i suck at perfect guard 🙂
@@michamichalewicz4856 I will try that. Thank you! My goto has so far been the Soloman Dagger I think it's called and the Rapier... I'm absolutely loving everything else. It's just the super delayed hits along with the tight parry window that's killing me.
Don't give up, skeleton!!
0:20 yeah only 20 seconds in to this "beginner's guide" and I'm told that on the top right side is the HP bar when it's left. I'm gonna watch a guide of someone who knows where left and right is 😂
On the top hand right... ?? Left even? Not a good confidence booster in the videos content when there's an error on the 1st piece of info!
That aside good video as always ;)
Full screen. We don't need to see you.
I can’t get anywhere in the game I die on the fist guy 😢I hate this game already I just want to change the difficulty!
Get good
Dodge is good. You´re just not good enough.
By that logic so is Broken Sword in Dark Souls.
@@rurikhanNah the dodge is very good as long as your weight is less than 60 and it completely destroys some bosses like Romeo and Victor.
Bruh. Top right? 🙄😑
The Parry and Dodging are atrocious, the most important part of the game is combat, and it sucks in this game , sadly.
This guy thinks that Starfield has challenging combat. Don't trust him.
What does it have to do with him just sharing knowledge. He just shared the basics - a visual tutorial.
This guy plays Starfield in journo difficulty, don’t trust him.
parry is pathetic and ruins game. Its another pathetic sekiro rip off thjat plays terribly. Refunded
I have a P Organ its my Bladder.
Yeah, they definitely could have chosen a better name.
