Anyone remember shim shop chai? The government gave people "free" money, but that money could not be saved or invested. It could be used at approved vendors, most of whom are tenants of the Central Group, or subsidiary of CP? A healthy chunk of all that "free" money ended up right in the pockets of the corporatocracy here. Same thing with the digital wallet; can't invest it, save it, earn any interest on it... and it can only be spent where the vendors have been approved. Wash, rinse, repeat. On steroids this time.
Digital wallet will fail and drag the country down with it.

Re: AUDIO ISSUES - the microphone you’re using appears to be a Samson 29/C01UPRO USB microphone. If it is, that’s a “side-address” mic. That means you should be talking into the SIDE of the mic that has the text printed (and possibly a volume control / headphone jack) on it … rather than the end/top as you’re doing in this video. Adjust the mic so that the label is facing you and your voice should sound clearer and more resonant.

CBDC is a trap. Invest in cryptocurrency that operates the CBDC. Not giving financial advice.
The coming CBDC will, in many respects, be no worse than the existing system.
Both are backed by nothing and both can be created for no real cost to the Thai Treasury.
A CBDC will not cause any additional costs that wouldn't happen by retaining the existing system.
The programmable nature is a legitimate concern, and so would be the blockchain's transparency it's based on.
Those are where people's attention should be focused, not on scare mongering about CBDCs per se.
CBDC is far far worse than current system. Government and central banks will have full control of your wallet. Implement a social credit score like China and Thai officials can punish anybody for 'wrongthink' and empty your wallet. THey can impose negative rates where your wallet balance keeps shrinking unless you use it by end of each month (as an example). Many more ways your freedoms of finance are just gone.

That doesn't mean though that the existing system is any better.
They can print to infinitely with what we use today.
That leads to hyperinflation.
