Hands down, best guitar teacher alive. I've been with alot of teachers, but the really learning progress started with the Beginners course on your website. GEtting better and better ever since. Love what you are doing!
Another excellent lesson. Thanks for this Justin. I've also watched the previous video on 7ths, quite a lot to take in and learn but as always your videos are really clear and useful.
Hi Justin, I listen to jazz every day and play the guitar a bit, however, I've just started to take things seriously and your lessons are fantastic. Keep the faith !
I've always found your lessons informative and entertaining. I also appreciate the discussion and ideas behind your lessons. If I just wanted tabs, well they have sites for that. Thanks Justin from across the pond.
Hey justin! thanks man! i just happened to start learning jazz so really grateful for this timely video. Would like to see more advanced comping patterns in the next few videos! thanks again!
+1 for more jazz lessons!!! Thank you Justin. I've been a fan of the various Django Reinhardt songs on youtube for ages and would love to see Rythm lessons on chord inversions for pieces such as swing 39/42 ;-)
I have a V basic question re right hand technique. When playing chords, should I use Index, Middle and Ring fingers or Middle, Ring and Pinky? Also, should I vary between up/down strokes or stick to one direction?
what are these jazz standards he's going on about? are they just different chord progressions? I'm a Rock/Metal guitarist..wanting to get some jazz playing in my repertoire
Krispynachos 99 jazz standards are classic jazz songs that you must master and jam around in order to learn how to play jazz. Autumn leaves fir example, is a jazz standard
hi man! i like ur videos.. ur good.. but too much talking! or rather, play more.. for instance, you could give more examples of strumming . because it feels nice to hear you play, and i find it easier to learn if you play what you want to say/teach.. yet, its an amazing lesson! thanks so much! keep it up! i hope i did not offence you!
Cheers for the video content! Sorry for the intrusion, I am interested in your opinion. Have you considered - Riddleagan Blossoming Solo Remedy (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a smashing exclusive product for mastering guitar scales minus the headache. Ive heard some decent things about it and my work buddy finally got great success with it.
Can I recommend more time playing and less time talking. Students learn very little listening to multiple comments. This is common on almost all UA-cam videos on guitar instruction. Just play it and let us observe. kg
Many thanks for the super thanks and supporting the channel. It means a lot. Cheers 😊 | Richard_close2u | JustinGuitar Official Guide & Approved Teacher www.justinguitar.com

make me your apprentice please.. lol :D very nice lesson btw
That second rhythm with the mute hit sounds quite bossa nova so feel free to sing Girl From Ipanema.... ;)
Can someone tell me what chord progression that is at 4:19 ?
I think it's: Gmaj7 - G#dim7 - Am7 - A#dim7 - Bm7 - Bdim7 - Am7 - Adim7 - Gmaj7. But I would like someone to confirm.
Nicolás Delgado I believe it is: Gmaj7 - G#dim - Am7 - A#dim - Bm7 - E7b9 - Am7 - D7b9 - G69(12)
please advice some famous song that we can start listing straight way
What guitar is that?
Gibson 335, Chuck Berry's main squeeze, also nice for jazz due to the semi-hollow body and humbucker pick-ups, esp. The neck pick-up...
I like you Justin. No homo
