Honestly, the best quality Garry's Mod players have is consistency. The community may be small but the numbers are always consistent no matter how long it's been.
Hey, glad you decided to learn more about playing Garry's Mod! Honestly, it's a bottomless pit in terms of what you can do. You could skim the surface & mess around with community mods. You could go deeper & learn how to make your own mods. It's possible to lose yourself & learn the programming language Lua to go further down the rabbit hole. At the end of the day, it's all up to you to figure out what you want to do!
Glad to hear the guide helped you figure out at least the basics of what you can do! The game really comes alive when you start messing with hundreds to thousands of add-ons. 🔥🔥🔥
Honestly, that's the beauty of Garry's Mod! You could either lose yourself in the rabbit hole or skim on the surface; All that matters is that you're having fun.
It feels like that when your creativity starts to flow & you start pulling build ideas out of the Ether! There's no other game like Garry's Mod, that's for sure.
Actually, the reason why there is errors is because you probably need a valve game mounted to work with it, with most being Counter-Strike Source, Team Fortress 2, Half Life Source, Half-Life 2: Episode 1 and Episode 2. Some mods and maps use models from those games.
You're completely right! I didn't have the assets installed in the right folders. It slipped my mind at the time to mention in the video, unfortunately.
Hey, thanks for watching. 700 hours probably means 400 hours getting your 2,000 mods to play nice, 200 hours of waiting at the loading screen for said mods to finish, and the other 100 hours getting nuked by your friends at every given chance. Overall, still pretty fun haha!
theres a reason these games live, their unique, gmod only has funny internet shit with thousands of adons to select to make your dream world and barely anything is not in the workshop and tf2 is just silly as hell and people love every second of conga lining in 2fort just for everyone to explode bind at the intel room and l4d2 is just too good, these games are too good and unique to die
A bit late to say this, but glad you liked the game through the guide! I hope you're already having a ton of fun building, playing with friends, server hopping & anything else you can think of!
GMod to me is like a blank canvas, your imagination and community addons are brushes. The game doesn't tell you what to do, you are the one who will decide how this game should be played, in your very own way.
@@airulygs Exactly; You nailed it! The fact that it can go as far as your mind can go is nuts. Although, I don't blame people for burning out when it comes to making their own mods/learning Lua. At that point, you're DEEP in the Garry's Mod rabbit hole.
How do you have that much subscribers i hope you get big someday man very good video i just got garry mod and this vid helped so much thank you so much

Woah, that's awesome! I hope you enjoy your time playing Garry's Mod! I can't even remember what it was like when I first got the game. All I remember are the good memories it gave me.
Hey, it may be an issue with the model you're using it on? All you'd have to do is point & left click to make it bigger or point & right click to make it smaller. Outside of that, it's possible the model being used might not have a structure that can be manipulated freely other than the abdomen.
Thank you and no, you're not the only one. That was the best I could do to save the original file after it had corrupted during the editing process. I think it came out well regardless & it taught me a lot on what not to do while editing haha
Hi, just bought G MOD, and I was following along in this video, but I noticed that whenever I spawn in a rag doll, it doesn't appear upright and straight like yours, but rather falls down like a rag doll, how do I fix this? I also can't load in any workshop items without it saying "ERROR".
Hey, sorry for replying so late! First, as far as I know, when you spawn in a rag doll, they'll always be limp. You'd have to stand them up & freeze 'em in place. Secondly, errors like that are normally resolved by verifying the game files. You can do that if you right-click on the game in your Steam library & click on Properties. Then go to the Installed Files tab & Verify the integrity of game files. Most of the time, it fixes these random issues. I hope I was able to help in some way. Outside of this, it may be a more specific issue I might not know the solution to, unfortunately.
@seeyouowo Hi, tha ks for the reply, but it turns of the Randall's is there anyway to make them perfectly straight like us, because I usually can't get precise enough to make it work, or perhaps spawn it in tposing or disabling physics?
That goes for every game, no? Garry's Mod, in particular, allows you to have fun while being creative, make new friends, jump through bizarre servers, & experience community funded chaos. After that, then sure, kill time by doing anything else you'd like.
@@kuromeankokuboshi8568That's so sick! Those are some of my favorite add-ons so I decided to add them into the video. It's cool that the creator of those add-ons found my video haha!
Step 1 which he forgot, is have a friend. It’s the hardest as no one at my school or any of my friends know this game. They’re just addicted to fortnight. Meanwhile I, looking like the black sheep of the group. Playing hl1 and hl2, afraid of monsters and cry of fear, basically, I hate. Absolutely hate modern games for this reason.
Hey, it happens. One way you could make friends with the same interest in Gmod is joining a Gmod discord server. Another is straight up Gmod server hopping like ye olden times haha! Either way, you'll make friends that may or may not be on the no-fly list, but the gamble is worth it!

You're welcome! I do the same sometimes where I go through a guide for a game I know only to find stuff I didn't know much about.
this is good quality you need more subs like how are you at 129
Woah thank you, I'm glad you liked the quality of the video! Maybe I'll grow a little larger someday. Who knows!
I have less than 20 hours in gmod, can’t wait to learn how to play this crazy game
Yo no way tysm i thought like what am i even soupposed to do with this game but this chsnged everything
Glad to hear the guide helped you figure out at least the basics of what you can do! The game really comes alive when you start messing with hundreds to thousands of add-ons. 🔥🔥🔥
Five stars tutorial! Thanks, bro!
You're welcome! I'm glad you liked the tutorial. I'll make sure to rate your comment 5 stars, too haha!
Thank you for this vid I would have been lost without it
Hey, glad the guide is still helping new players. Hope you enjoy your time playing with friends or solo hopping through different parts of the game! 🍞
The opera music in the bg is fire
Thank you, I spliced & pasted Beethoven's 9th Symphony Finale in a bunch of different places so it would last the whole video haha!
It is cool to watch this as somebody playing gmod since 2017 but didn’t dvelbe too deep
Honestly, that's the beauty of Garry's Mod! You could either lose yourself in the rabbit hole or skim on the surface; All that matters is that you're having fun.
that footage was clearly slowed to be more comprehensible to us mere mortals
1,190 hours but still I’m still watching
Gotta pump those rookie numbers up, haha! No, but seriously, I do the same at times for games I have tons of hours in.
Me with 700+ hours enjoying the video like I never played Garry's mod in my life
It probably feels awesome coming back to square one knowing everything, haha!
Great video ! Thank you for making this.
Hey, you're welcome! I'm glad you found the guide useful. 🍞🔥
fun fact: spas also has a right click, it shoots 2 instead of one (this has been a feature since half life 1)
Woah, that's new information to me. Thanks for telling me about a feature I didn't know! Still won't compensate for my terrible aim during PvPs haha!
I have 3594 hours in Gmod and the addon I can not recommend enough is Advanced Duplicator 2
It makes mapping process much easier
Im excited to play this game
That's awesome to hear! It's definitely worth playing since the limit is whatever you can think of.
Even he can’t keep his laughter in when stuff blows up, if you don’t have this game buy it, it is worth the price.
I agree, it's definitely worth the price. Garry's Mod feels like it has weird comedic timing built-in for scuffed moments haha!
One thing I want to learn is hammer editor so I can make my own Garry’s mod maps, when I got time.
Hammer is pretty sick as a map creator! I'd love to get into it, but I doubt I have the brain cells & the time to fully learn how to use it.
found you on town of Salem :)
Woah, you might be looking for a certain @averabry since he was larping as a Gmod savant!
@@seeyouowo wowses im so surprised 0_0
I like to think that Gmod is we're your third eye is open and you got all unlimited powers you can play with in a higher level dimension☺️
It feels like that when your creativity starts to flow & you start pulling build ideas out of the Ether! There's no other game like Garry's Mod, that's for sure.
ty very much
You're welcome! 🔥
It’s hard to believe people need a tutorial for gmod
Garry's Mod gets new players everyday & experienced players sometimes want a refresher. In this case, my guide works well for both!
Thanks this tutorial was really helpful
Hey, you're welcome! Glad the guide did its job with helping you out.
Playing gmod on my laptop is a pain but i love the game so much 😭🙏🏻
Haha, the pure essence of Garry's mod; Suffering for the meme!
@@seeyouowo yupp 😂😅
thanks for the tutorial sir! this was usefull
You're welcome! Glad you found the tutorial useful. Blue Knight FTW!
bro needs more subs
Thank you! Maybe I'll grow larger someday.
700 hours on the game and still watching
Hey, thanks for watching. 700 hours probably means 400 hours getting your 2,000 mods to play nice, 200 hours of waiting at the loading screen for said mods to finish, and the other 100 hours getting nuked by your friends at every given chance. Overall, still pretty fun haha!
I'm 15 and i'll download the game from Steam w/my mom i'm so happy tysm
Excellent guide thanks
You're welcome! I'm glad it helped in any way it possibly could. 🍞
theres a reason these games live, their unique, gmod only has funny internet shit with thousands of adons to select to make your dream world and barely anything is not in the workshop and tf2 is just silly as hell and people love every second of conga lining in 2fort just for everyone to explode bind at the intel room and l4d2 is just too good, these games are too good and unique to die
Thanks you made me download GMOD!!! Yayayayayyaya
A bit late to say this, but glad you liked the game through the guide! I hope you're already having a ton of fun building, playing with friends, server hopping & anything else you can think of!
GMod to me is like a blank canvas, your imagination and community addons are brushes. The game doesn't tell you what to do, you are the one who will decide how this game should be played, in your very own way.
messing around and laughing at your own creation is the most gmod thing ever
@@airulygs Exactly; You nailed it! The fact that it can go as far as your mind can go is nuts. Although, I don't blame people for burning out when it comes to making their own mods/learning Lua. At that point, you're DEEP in the Garry's Mod rabbit hole.
Can I ask what the first mod was it was really funny EXPLOSIANNN!!
Hey, here you go! It's called the Megumin Explosion Tool.

@@Straw.. Thank you! Glad to hear you like what I've made so far. 🔥
How do you have that much subscribers i hope you get big someday man very good video i just got garry mod and this vid helped so much thank you so much
I appreciate the kind words. Happy to hear that the guide was able to help you out! Although the growth is slow, I'll keep trying to grow the channel for sure!
Can't wait to play brother got it for me for my birthday
Woah, that's awesome! I hope you enjoy your time playing Garry's Mod! I can't even remember what it was like when I first got the game. All I remember are the good memories it gave me.
This is so wholesome
ive been playing since beta but i watched anyway
That's absolutely insane. You must have mastered all there is to know about Garry's Mod by now!
thx
You're welcome! 🍞
How do you select something else with the inflator tool? I can only use it on the abdomen
Hey, it may be an issue with the model you're using it on? All you'd have to do is point & left click to make it bigger or point & right click to make it smaller. Outside of that, it's possible the model being used might not have a structure that can be manipulated freely other than the abdomen.
How do i can move my friend with the physic gun?
thx. good guide! hope you do a guide of how to make a server on gmod (not private server). anyways i can't believing my eyes at 36:34 💀
Hey, glad you liked the guide! Honestly, it's a maybe on making another tutorial anytime soon, but I'll keep this in mind at least. 🍞
@@seeyouowo ok. Thank :D
Ty for helping me man id subcribe!
Hey, I'm glad the guide helped you out!
this reminds me of the old little big planet days
Hey, Little Big Planet (on the PSP) was one of my favorite games so I'll take this as a great compliment!
Really well made video
Thank you, I'm glad you thought so!
even tho i have 2k hours i will still watch that, maybe i missed someting
Never hurts to go back to square one & brush up on the basics. Sometimes it feels like I made the guide for myself, so I don't forget, haha!
@@seeyouowo exactly.
im your new sub going learn how i use garry mod beginning thank
Thanks for subbing & you're welcome! Glad you're going to give Garry's Mod a shot. 🍞
Cool guide but am i the only one who sees those gray glitches in the video?
0:00 mod?
thanks so much mate
You're welcome! 🍞
is the audio is off snyc with the video, or am I just crazy?
the 15000 people who watched this are now causing 'creative' havoc all across garrys mod
I can't say how people use the information I've given them. However, if it's helping them have fun then I guess it's fine haha!
Watching this even with 400 hours
400 hrs. & the untold amount of hours looking for the most scuffed dupes/addons to "try out" on friends haha!
watching this with almost 700 hours
Oh you rewatched it 17 times too?
Whit due Respekt. What’s the purpose beside killing time?
That goes for every game, no? Garry's Mod, in particular, allows you to have fun while being creative, make new friends, jump through bizarre servers, & experience community funded chaos. After that, then sure, kill time by doing anything else you'd like.
Seeing my addons in a vid make me go pog
Woah, that's awesome! Which addons are yours? Is it the ones seen at the beginning of the video or around the end?
@@seeyouowo the clips at the begining, the toaster launcher, the megumin toolgun that goes "explosion" and the gnomifier
@@kuromeankokuboshi8568That's so sick! Those are some of my favorite add-ons so I decided to add them into the video. It's cool that the creator of those add-ons found my video haha!
42:22 you can also die and it will change
miku hands in thumbnail detected.
Your sensors are running at 100%. Aside from that, it's insane you were able to get the @miku handle haha!
Not me with 700 hours watching for no reason
I do the same thing with games I have tons of hours in! It's fun in a way since you know everything they're about to talk about.
@@seeyouowo Alright, thanks!
