I've always had problems with Zack Snyder's storytelling. But when it comes to the technical aspects (including visuals), he has VERY few competitors in the entire Hollywood. The man is a technical genius.

@@ion_iot The Directors Cut of Watchmen is excellent and really well done. And so is Man of Steel. Zack Snyder's Justice League is also really well done, considering he had to reshoot scenes, shoot new scenes and fix basically the entire movie that Joss Whedon screwed up.

3:47 you make 0 sense. Keaton isn't gonna be the main Batman for James Gunn's universe they're casting a completely new actor. If you actually knew the flashpoint storyline then you'd know that Keaton, Supergirl, and General Zod are from an different timeline that was created when Barry went back in time to save his mother. None of them are staying. Then he realizes how much chaos he's caused and tries to undo this new timeline by going back in time again to prevent the past version of himself from going back in time to save his mother. As a result of time traveling again he then makes a completely new timeline that's closer to the original timeline, which will be James Gunn's DCU.
7:28 obviously she won't be as strong. Kryptonians gain their strength over time when in sunlight. It took cavil's Superman YEARS to get as strong as he was in Justice League. We saw this because in a flashback he was struggling to even lift an oil rig.

Poor CGI despite a huge budget implies that the VFX staff is being mistreated in some way, whether that be poor compensation or extreme crunch.
The VFX artists themselves don't feel good about putting something subpar out there, but the demands of studios force them to
noticed how every comparison he made was to Snyder property and to The Flash CW show? both of which are very overrated media which if you get an unbiased figure to talk about them, they would tell you that those projects are very clearly flawed.

Whats great is the film still has Ezra Miller and let go Henry Cavill .. no, it actually SUCKS. I wouldnt be surprised if it tanks ..but some people will enjoy it. its weird how one actor who has done sh*tty things can think people will forget ... there is a karma that usually follows.

I loved the flash movie. Yeah, in the beginning, where the babies and dog falling out of the hospital window look insanely video game cgi'd, the rest of the movie was pretty great.

@marknewton8432 I didn't have to watch the flash to know its garbage. I've seen the reviews, the trailer, and some cutscenes. The CGI is terrible, and the acting + humour is super cringe. Movies that were made 10+ years ago have far better CGI and acting.
I watched this movie finally the other day. It was just ok. I was excited to see all the cameos and of course, the OG Batman. That was so cool to see. I was a big fan of the 1989 Batman (Michael Keaton).
Other than that, it’s one of those movies where you watch it once and that’s it. I cannot bear to watch it again lol. Give me Flash 2 and I’ll watch it lol.

I'm actually feeding the fire by responding, but you guys are reaching pretty hard so I had to. I don't understand why so many videos on UA-cam have to be about clicks only. Legitimacy is thrown right out the window. This UA-cam post reeks of desperation. Every criticism sounds ridiculous. This is the definition of trolling. I highly doubt Recap District conducted polls to gather this information. If these claims are legitimate, post links to the sources so everyone can see for themselves.

Why all the hate? I just saw this movie yesterday, and as a Marvel girl who also enjoys DC, I loved it. And the cameos at the end were so nostalgic. So glad I didn't see this video and its comments first or i might not have seen it. Again, it was a good movie and I'd love to see a sequel. I hope people will watch it and judge for themselves whether they like it or not.

The cgi was terrible theres no denying that,(anypoint in the movie has cgi that looks like a low budget tv show would have) the CW show had better animation for basic things like barry running (this is literary first few minutes in the movie), casting ezra was a mistake as a whole (not just personal life) since he cant act for shit, the way barry was written as some mumbling idiot who as he said in justice league "needs friends" is nowhere near what barry allen was actually like, can you imagine tony stark being quirky nerd who cant talk to ppl? its inaccurate to the actual source material, also why tf would u put zod as the villain when zod barely know who allen is and doesnt care as a whole about him(not to mention he would of wiped the floor with him, tanos vs squirrel girl style, under usage of good characters like micheal keaton etc...the movie was terrible to any dc fan, the flash was literally the worst part about the flash XD and the numbers are there to back it up...but im glad you have enjoyed it and got your moneys worth, in my opinion DC makes great animated movies but terrible live action
@doomanubis As I said before, I'm a Marvel girl who also likes DC. But I guess I should have said DC movies. I've never read the Flash comics, but obviously, you have and know what should and shouldn't be. So I get it. I'm that way with Marvel movies, Stephen King movies, and Harry Potter. But I still enjoy them (except for 'The Dark Tower', which was nothing like the book) as I complain about the inaccuracies. I did continuously comment to my sis on how weird Barry was running throughout the movie, but I still enjoyed it. As for the effects, I didn't think they were that bad. I've seen better, but I've seen worse, enjoyed it, and just laughed at the effects. Not everyone's talent or style is equal. Just like the different comic book artists. As long as the story captivates me, I'll enjoy it. Maybe the next one will be better and you'll be able to enjoy it.

Like, they want you to actively ignore how bad it is and a find way to like it. Felt like an EA game launch, you were just waiting for an update patch to fix the many issues.

Thing is you'd kind of dismiss bad cgi from a TV show because you know the budget has to be stretched out through multiple episodes. But in a movie that's had 15 years of hype built up around it, I almost dismissed it lack luster cgi cause I've waited for this so long but now I can't unsee it. I also agree that colour grading makes a big difference in making the cgi blend in more with the back ground after Man of steel and ZSJL all of DC films have had saturated colour palletes similar to what marvel use and I can't help but notice how it makes scenes look un appealing and cgi in motio just dont look compeling. Again all we've seen are trailers and pre rendered cgi usually the final cut looks much more polished so hopefully CGI and VFX improve when the movie comes out.

- In "spiderman: far from home", lots of characters from the same universe are reintroduced for that nostalgic effect, it was a hit!
- Good! Let's do it. The more people the better. I can sense we're going to get lots of money from this. Make it fast. And Marvel's characters have witty moments so clamp in lots of jokes in the dialogs, better to force some laughter than to not have any. Also, if you can't come up with a good way to defeat the villain, let superman one shot him.

I think James Gunn just told production to just hurry up and rush this film, even though it had setbacks I think it was supposed to be way better than it was. I just think James Gunn wanted the movie to be bad. I watched the movie and loved it! CGI Problem? Why would I care about cgi when they gave us a glimpse of all those amazing actors from the past? They embraced them perfectly! When I was a kid do you think I ever care about the worst cgi ever from the reeves movies? Those flight scene were and looked fake as f but no we loved those movies! This generation seems to have s problem they cry for everything but their own social media mess!
The movie is based on flashpoint so most of the characters won’t be coming back and this will be a reboot for DC. Hopefully they don’t waste the second chance.
