- Today we dive into legendary English alternative rock band Radiohead. "Fake Plastic Trees" was the third single from their second studio album THE BENDS released in March 1995. Thom Yorke said the song arose from a melody he had "no idea what to do with."
What Do Ya'll Think !?
One of my all time favourite Radiohead songs off one their best albums. His voice is haunting and sad and beautiful. The whole Bends has a somber yet beautiful feel. This is penciled in as one of my funeral songs..lol sorry I'm sure it won't be required for a very long time😂

How can he never of heard of this song before........its actually insane. He was from the generation of college radio and MTV....
I was 22 when this came out and didn’t understand it but when I go back to some of these songs they hit hard…. The song becomes much more poignant as you get older…. tom yorke is a bloody genius
Radiohead always have a special place in my heart. Especially the albums OK Computer and Kid A. Played those to death. They are just so good at writing and producing, the whole process. Great reaction! I always look forward to seeing what you guys react to next, especially your Depeche Mode reactions. I'd love to see you react to The Knife or Fever Ray. Thanks
One of my favourites.
The live version they do is much better than the studio, i'd highly recommend it.
Its about being surrounded by fake people.
Paranoid Android is a must if you do more Radiohead, they are an incredible band and most certainly will join the list of true greats.
How are you doing my friend I see you are addicted to Radiohead reaction videos like me I see your comments all the time and everything you say I agree with you saved me from having to comment many times.
@@jameshannagan4256 All good James, hope you are well, yeah, I watch quite a lot of Radiohead on UA-cam ! especially all the live stuff out there and when a reaction video pops up on recs I'll watch it, I think they are one of the most misunderstood and underrated bands ever, who will eventually be recognised as a true great along with the Beatles, Stones, Pink Floyd (huge Floyd fan and think they are very similar in many ways) etc......It compels me to comment 😂
nah studio version always is better
@@jorgekech on this track i highly disagree, not enough of Jonny on the studio version, certain parts have evolved since the recording and IMO the song is the better for it.
I've seen them live 11 times (first in 1995, last one was 2018) and from 97 on, the song took on a whole other life.
@@jorgekechAgreed 👍🏿
Just found your channel and been going thru some of the videos, love that you don’t just do the usual hits some do and clearly have a broad knowledge of music and these artists.
Many Americans cant get into to the smiths for some reason so enjoyed those videos 😂
Radiohead are the best band of the last 30 years imo, true artists, myxomatosis would be a great one to react to…
Elbow, Doves, zero7, Portishead, Chemical Brothers, bonobo, The Jezebels all don’t get enough shine from youtube channels either and are great bands/artists to do if you need some suggestions…
Keep up the good work fellas 👍
Thank You Jim 83 ... We appreciate the kind words 😎 Thx for watching the show!
Stunning song. Thank you for your excellent choices! I enjoy it. All the best from Potsdam, Germany!
Radiohead's songs are thoughtful and reflective... melancholy, I've found. Mind you, as some Russian bloke said "only the soulless have no need of melancholy"!
For another gentle sounding Radiohead song: No Surprises.
Gentlemen, would you please give Street Spirit (Fade Out) a listen :)
Crossbow guy off The Walking Dead in the video.
I was looking to see if anyone else was going to bring this up!! I love seeing Norman in videos, he’s in a TON of them!
Perhaps

The Bends will always be my favorite Radiohead record. This song is perfect and yet it's not even the best track from the album.
😁👍
React " Nick Kamen - Tell me " pleaseee
It shows from the man point of view ..the way we see the other sex
The strange and vacuous life’s we see
I’ll get killed for this, but it’s like a “lesser-later a-ha” track. 🫣
LoL the Karma Police are coming for you!!😂
@@jemxs 😝
is better than any a-ha track
Ohh Hot Take 🔥 Better than some later a-ha tracks,, both are legendary artist in my opinion, interesting to compare the 2 😎
