There is sale so I wonder if its qorth buying it. Cash is never a problem in skylines especially when I spend an hour laying down pedestrian paths, parks and trees.
For me it’s gotta be Parks and Promenades. It adds an extra layer and realism to cities that’s hugely prominent in European cities which is pedestrianised walkways. I love the assets and flexibility of the DLC too and for the amount you pay for the DLC you get a tonne of excellent stuff!
oh don't worry, it absolutely won't. creative games like this these days are _enormous_ investments. thousands of dollars for _Sims 4_ content. hundreds for _Planet Coaster_ and _Zoo._ as the publishers see it now, video games are money pits.
as someone who didn't get round to playing this in 2015 and picking it up now its super cheap with the new one coming out this video has been helpful to know if some/what ones are worth me maybe also picking up to expand the game so thanks
I think an advantage to Sunset Harbour was that it allowed for a lot more activity on the water, since civilian boats were never a factor and the ships and ferries required far more space than the fishing boats.
I like mass transit dlc since you get more transport options, but mainly since you get 2 lane and 4 lane highways, since I often make cities with highways everywhere. My most recent city also involves some actual public transportation, but still has highways everywhere.
So far I have parks, nightlife and the industries. I got nightlife mostly for the bike lanes which I am having a ton of fun with combining with park districts to make greenways that connect my region
This was helpful, thank you! I just got back into the game, log into youtube for advice, and BAM! commercial for the Cities 2... *lol* I'm still thinking of perhaps getting some DLC for this one, though, and now I think I know what to get... the transportation and park one seemed fun to me!
First of all: People in the comments seem to forget that it's all about personal preference when it comes to content (DLC's). For example, I would never want to miss the nighttime atmosphere in my cities, even though I only build during the day. But why should he put it at the forefront if he doesn't care about it?! A VIDEO with the MOST IMPORTANT DLC's would be different and might be worth discussing, but not if it's someone's own taste. The only downside to such classifications is that everyone sees this individually/differently (if they own all the DLC's) because everyone has different priorities/preferences. The bottom line is that you can say (that's why he asked for our opinions) that you can buy whatever you like. Each DLC has useful content, even if it's just the tram from Snowfall that you would like to use or just enjoy your city at night. Really important DLC's regarding the functions of the game (game changer): - Industries (balancing, almost indispensable) - Mass Transit (a must have for console players to be able to control the increasing traffic with the additional roads = supreme discipline of the game, especially without mods) I hope this helps the channel and people when choosing DLC's (and comments).
Park Life is #1 for me. I love building city parks, nature reserves and the occasional zoo and amusement park.
I love parklife, however I still prefer industries bc I can abuse oil and make millions.

Mass Transit is basically crucial and should just be added to the base game after CS:2 comes out.

Mass Transit is one of the best out there for adding tons of options to move people. That's why I also love Snowfall for adding trams!

DISASTERS IS MY FAVORITE DLC, FINALLY MY CITY HAS TO SURVIVIVE AGAINST NATURE!!!!!!!

Edit: Mass Transit's tram stops (Hubs) only work if you own the Snowfall DLC.
I'm just trying to decide which dlc to get
Basically, the only DLC that you actually need is Mass transit... and all the others are just pure cosmetic stuff or a cash grab from Paradox
night could be fixed by making the daym light around the cuser 100x more brighhter or have a brightness control over it
Cities Skylines Windows 10 edition is actually same
theres no way this game has this many updates smh just update it paradox has enough money
disasters is the best
