    I love this. Most tutorials always take so much time to waddle around and talk about their life and unrelated things. You go straight to the point and waste no time explaining. Thank you so much

    Very clear with a perfect pace. So very glad you did not count through every one of the 12-stitch corners. I tried a couple other videos for this stitch with way more views, but could't finish any of them due to the snail pace. Thanks.

    Thank Goodness for the pause button❣
    You are a good instructor. Thank you for sharing❣💞
    This pattern is challenging for a beginner, but that pause button and dragging the time indicator line back time and time again works❣ 😁

    Oh wow that is a very lovely stitch. Is this good for beginners? I haven’t been crocheting for long. A friend of mine showed me how to crochet a blanket and all I did was repeat the same stitch which helped me be able to make several blankets for my family. I saw your tutorial and I liked it so much and I would like to make a blanket out of this stitch. This will be my second project I will be making, so I need a stitch that I can repeat. So you see I’m really a beginner. Not only that I’m a beginner on using a laptop that my grandson gave me as an early Christmas gift so I can start learning, this is so sooo hard for me. So bare with this senior citizen. Oh is there a pattern,now I don’t know how to read a pattern, but I can follow the steps as you continue the stitches. I prefer to see a pattern so I can start to learn on how to read a pattern so it can help me learn to read patterns. Thank you for sharing your tutorial with everyone that watch’s your tutorials. Take care and God bless you and continue to make new stitches and new projects for everyone thanks again bye.

    Oh gosh, here I go again! Time to start another blanket and then get frustrated 1/4 the way through and put it in my WIP pile 😂 I've started 5 different blankets and finally finished 1 of them! It was a 1st birthday present for my niece so I kind of HAD to with that one.
    Anyways, thanks for the tutorial! Definitely going to try this stitch out. I'm trying to get my crojo back, but battling anxiety and depression have just sapped most of my enjoyment.

    I love this pattern but would love to know how to use this pattern with a verigated yarn cause I have noticed that when you change colors you move over quiet a bit. So I need to know how I would use a verigated yarn after rounds 1 and 2

    Hi Kristi, love the way you teach. My question is what if you want to do the rounds all in the same color - instead of cutting yarn each time for a new round- how do you get to the fifth stitch of the new round after finishing the previous round. Hope I described that clearly enough. Thank you for the great tutorials. Hugs, Toni

    Is it possible to use yarn that gradually change color instead of cutting yarn and change color? Can I still create same pattern?

    • @AllFreeCrochet
      @AllFreeCrochet  6 років тому +1

      Hi Selyna,
      The color yarn you use doesn't have an effect on how the stitch is worked, so yes, it would come out the same. You'd just have different color variations throughout.

    • @chrishicks5359
      @chrishicks5359 6 років тому

      It depends on wheee the color change is- on Vera gated it could change more often than you would like there wouldnt be rows per se. Anna Karen cake it might take two or three rows or more to change colors and so on.

    • @wpbn5613
      @wpbn5613 5 років тому

      It's perfectly possible for a gradient yarn but this is a kind of pattern meant for switching colors every 2 rounds so that the color blips caused by the back post stitches can really shine through and create a dramatic effect. Using a gradient will make the effect less dramatic. Maybe try using a yarn that has periodic changes, like a self striping yarn maybe?

    • @wpbn5613
      @wpbn5613 5 років тому

      However, the blanket will still be very pretty because you'll get to see the texture whether you switch colors or not, so don't let my comment dissuade you (or anyone else who is reading this and has a gradient yarn ready to work) from utilizing this pattern

  • @peggyharwell3674

    I would like this if you slowed down a lot more, and brought the camera much closer to be able to see exactly where you are placing the hook

      If you check the label on you yarn it will suggest hook size both for knitting and for crochet. If you gauge is too small go up a size on your hook and vice versa. Happy hooking :)

    • @emmawalsh2259

      I completely agree, by the 3rd round, your hands are in the way and you suddenly speed up. I think if you redid the second part of the video showing where you are placing the stitches more clearly, this would be a much better tutorial.
