This Concord Deathclaw is the only Deathclaw in Fallout 4 that made me feel like it's a real murder monster. Compared to Fallout 4, Fallout New Vegas Deathclaws can still chew you up even if you are max level in the best Power Armor.
As a stealth player I can two shot Deathclaws in Fallout 3 and New Vegas, but not Fallout 4. Vanilla stealth is horrible in 4 unless you mod detection system.
fallout 3 and fnv deathclaws are literally the same, in new vegas the devs just spammed it in a certain location so that you'd have to travel in another location cause the map is very small, lazy ass game design

in the series the armor is as if it were the weakest thing in existence, weapons that shoot clay or that break when you look at them, plastic pipes that break with a rusty knife
Just realized this but (I know it breaks immersion of fear if they added this) what if you could body slam a death claw in the power suit? You can do slams and leg takedowns if you are in 3rd person and you fight unarmed or with a pistol in hand while meleeing the baddie. Or you can body slam a super mutant in power armor. Point is, that be cool to see. And epic if you think about it.
And now I have this urge to do an entire fallout 4 playthrough using just my hands 🙃 never even thought of going bare handed in fo4 with power armor. Just finished my first ep of the show and found this looking for Walton Goggins ghoul makeup process. Awesome stuff this is
I think they were trying to use the tilted shift camera lens to recreate the look of miniatures and therefore recreate the camera perspective of the first 2 games.
Honestly could’ve been a fun start to the game to give you the power armor early, as it did, but only because the player is forced to fight the death claw bare handed
I love this game play I never thought about playing the game like that, and just punching them with no weapons it looks fun imagine trying to do this on survivor mode lol you will need a lot of stim packs to survive the fight definitely against the death claw
I like to install the mod that gives most of the enemys melee weapons, so then guns are really hard to come across, then i just run around with my vault suit, a leather chest piece, and a 10mm pistol. makes me feel like im actually just a lowly wastelander
My settlers keep taking them. Had them standing in a nice Knights of the round table type pose and I slept one night and everyone got in my suits. Ran all over town. Then got out of the suits and just left them all over. Took forever to get nick out of his suit because he doesn’t sleep but just have him hack something and he’ll get out.
This makes me want to do a completely melee world mod. It’s been 300 years since the bombs fell. Most, if not all, the ammo in the world has been used. That’d be a fun game. “Yeah it’s called Skyrim”. Oh yeah…
At least Nate now has the right to tell those kids in that vault that he really did kill the deathclaw with his bare hands

It only broke f4se, the f4se plugins, and a few oversized others. Most of the mods I play with haven't been updated since 2017 or 2021.
Theres a way to depatch it too. Stuff started working like nothing happened.
