Really interesting video. My daughter has a saffron self that she shows in pet and does really well with her. She keeps getting told that she could show her as a pure bred. She doesn't want to do this, to her she's a pet and loves that the judges acknowledge that she's really well looked after, immaculately clean and extremely friendly. Personally if she was mine I would be showing her as a pure bred but I understand why she doesn't want to.

I thought the standard and preparation were quite already too much work, but as a pet showing cavy, it's really interesting that you put it out. I know that your judgments sometimes are higher than the judge . Uhmmm, a bit disappointed that your pet teddy cavies didn't advance, but still, they are really great looking to me as well. I have a newly adopted Purebred Teddy from the former reputable breeder where I've got my #texel. Although, she told me that this purebred gold teddy #guinepig which we named Coco🤎🐹 she got from another breeder from a show cavy fair that she attended. She taught wanna take a chance to introduce a new breed from her line, but at the end she decided to focus on her Peruvian and texel herds. She showed some of them. My adopted texel from her herds was on the champion line like what I told you before he was compete, too a week before I brought him home. He got the best in the show in the junior category. But, right now, I decided he's my little spoiled family pet. Sometimes, I'm so curious to go out, and why not try to enter him, but part of me saying " I am very happy to be my little Locksley, one of the loudest wheekers of my three boars, hahahaha. I have a very unusual pet guinea pig I would love to show, it obviously has abyssian and Californian heritage which create a very lovely coat. It appears to have a couple of ridges down its back, the closest I can find it what it looks like is the NZ Bonnet breed if you look it up.
