Right! So pretty! I have so much respect for those who keep longhairs, it's definitely a challenge! I used to keep Texels but I couldn't seem to avoid cagemates chewing coats.
This is our championship show, normal club shows are a lot smaller, the self blues are really on the up here in the Uk and the quality is fantastic due to the dedication of a few breeders
@@guineapigswithgreg4575 Normal club shows over there (from what I've seen via your channel) are still much bigger than ours in New Zealand! Our entry numbers don't tend to go over 100 very often, with the exception of our Nationwide. But yes, those Blues are just gorgeous!! I wish we had them (along with many other breeds) here!!
Love seeing your videos! So nice to follow a show day. I’d love to see a video on the long curly coated breeds and caring for their coat such as the minipli, texel etc.
So many gorgeous piggies! 😍 I really like the selfs, especially the cream in the beginning. I like the slate too, don't know if I've ever seen one irl. Do you have a video about how the shows are organised? Like what breeds goes in each section and things like that?
I have been working a schedule type video and how to enter a show types, but I find it hard to film whilst at a show and no where really to set up a mock show
Hi Greg, I'm from Brazil. I love your videos, I can't fully understand because my native language is Portuguese, would it be possible to put subtitles in Portuguese in the next videos? I would be very happy and grateful.🙂
The national has heir championship show, we also have the Bradford championship show and the real London championship show here in the Uk, so we get 3 major shows a year and most specialist breed clubs will hold a significant show of their own too
5:18 my heart melted and now I want one of those adorable creatures in my life.
They are gorgeous 🥰
l like guinea pigs They are gorgeous
I completely agree! Do you keep guinea pigs?
@@guineapigswithgreg4575 Yes, I have 6
That Peruvian is DIVINE!
It was an absolute pleasure to handle, words do not really describe the texture or density of the coat

Thanks for sharing - always fascinating to see shows in other countries. Bummer you missed the aby though!
I know! He is one of the best Abyssinian we have seen in recent years as well
Wow! Awesome show. It's so interesting to see shows in the UK, they are huge! I love the blue selfs, we don't have those here.

I will try my best for you
Would it be nice to have TWO championship guinea pig shows a year instead of only ONE ?

Why do they grab their head like that? It looks very aggressive.
😢
I was thinking the same thing
