i can feel this pain bro whahaha, now im settled with weird build, but until now i still dont get the skills im wanted also the spellbreaker lol, because having spell breaker without restoration perks will deny my build lol
That’s easy to fix. Look at starting skills. You have 5 minor skills (20) You have 1 major skill (25) Only level skills that start at 20 or 25. (It’s impossible to not level speech , just don’t spend perk points In It if it’s not a starting skill) Your characters should cap around level 50 playing like this and you‘ll never become overpowered, your characters will have strengths and weaknesses built into them. Keeps it fun! You’ll also use different equipment suitable for the character not the most powerful all the time. you can say you can level all skills which will get you to level 81 but you’ll be rubbish with non skills being totally basic with no augmentations. You decide. Personally I think just starting skills makes characters/races feel very unique and well Tailored fun playthrough. Imperial for e.g. Heavy armour 20 Block 20 One handed 20 Destruction 20 Restoration 25 Enchanting 20 So if a skill is 20 you may only take 1 branch of the perk tree. If it’s a 25 you can have all perks in that skill. An imperial would be an enchanted paladin class capable of “turn undead” and be good at either fire, ice or lightning. (Pick 1) Silver weapons and/or elemental imbued swords and armour. (No smithing or alchemy) “For the empire” should be your motto. Mara would be a good choice for your worshipped 9 divine. Dawn breaker (weapon) spell breaker (armour) and Azuras star (utility) would be the Daedra I would help/acquire from. So you’d join the legion (wear heavy legion armour) Side with the blades (upgrade to blades armour) Destroy the dark brotherhood. Quest lines that don’t fit with a character you ignore. Look at a nord. Smithing 20 Block 20 Two handed 25 One handed 20 Light armour 20 Speech 20 There’s a few things to notice, no magic, no archery, no enchanting, no alchemy. This is a light armour two-handed build using bash (or block if you go one handed) and shouts. Healing is difficult as you can’t make awesome healing potions, or use restoration magic. Your motto is “Skyrim is for the nords” If they ain’t a nord you don’t help them. And do not use eleven, orcish or dwarven armours/weapons. Ones you can use are hide, scaled, and dragonscale. Nothing made by other “dirty” races. Join the storm cloaks (light storm cloak armour) Side with the greybeards and become the “way of the voice” Destroy miraak. A Breton is a vampiric necromancer. Using thralls and manipulating the battlefield. An argonian is a pacifist thief (hardest challenge I had, no kills (except mercer Frey punched to death) was seriously tough. Redguard is a combat archer/dual wield adventurer class (money/rewards, no quest lines) Orc makes a good werewolf class, killing vampires. Ring of hircine and sinderion as a follower. Dark elf is a destruction assassin with a follower.(keep Cicero alive) Khajit is a dagger assassin with no follower (kill cicero) Bosmer makes a good thief class that goes on to be a nightingale. High elf has become arch mage of the college of winter hold written all over it. (Use conjuration not thralls/necromancy)
@@christinaedwards5084 woaaah this way is more easier to selecting each perks since you will be always had the main point, for now my build is following the "veteran of wars", "Jha'zhits" (i think its the name) scrolls which is he given to us for the follower quest (i think), to testing flame cloak scrolls, and anti-undeadanti-undead. let me make it simple : Race : Red Guard Weapon : none Off Hand : Shield Magicka : Restoration spell/Destruction spell but limited only Cloak spell and perks. @@himenaaa3565 as long as you stick to 6 skills, 1 major, 5 minor, you can make it a very focused build and fun build. Pick a faction/quest line or be a mercenary/sell sword. Just ensure to only pick 1 boost skill (smithing, enchanting, alchemy) otherwise it breaks the game balance and it takes forever to level your attack skill. That and one hitting everything gets really boring, might as well play on very easy and save yourself the tedious grind For the character you have in mind I think alchemy would be a very powerful choice. Poisons and potions are a formidable combination.
This is why I have a notes page with a loose description of each file. For example, my Khajit file goes like this: Thief/Nightingale/Stormcloak (Class/Guild faction/Civil war choice) - Marriage: Ysolda - Armoury - Nightingale/Knives. I know what that file is going to accomplish, I know the characters intended romance and what the build itself will look like at the end, but no ridiculous restrictions like: “Never pick up a bow/crossbow because you intend to use knives” or “No Dark Brotherhood questline because you’re in the Thieves Guild”. My alchemist file is going to be carrying around a couple war axes coated with poisons and paralysis poisons, but she’s also going to finish the College of Winterhold questline and grabsome stuff from ol’ Herma Mora. Not really what you’d expect of an Alchemist, but I imagine that one will be quite a fun file.

Ex: Paratus, Viarmo, Erandur, Depline and Esbern, Mirabelle - committing friendly fire on guards/NPC helping you defeat an enemy, and you got a bounty - everytime you run out of Magicka or Stamina - Brelyna making your vision green

How about the pain of putting your unique weapons and armor in a chest in the master bedroom of Jorrvaskr once you become Harbinger, only to return later and discover that chest resets after a certain amount of time. Thankfully hadn’t done much yet, but still lost Wuuthrad and the Shield of Ysgramor to the void.
Okay, headcanon is now that the companions took it.
@@HappyBeezerStudios Tilma was cleaning up around Jorrvaskr and assumed that the priceless artifacts of Companions history were garbage, and got rid of them.
I always forget Lydia at my house and then freak out when I can't find her following me.
I sacrifice Lydia to Boethiah every time
My biggest skyrim peeve is accidentally closing the conversation with hermaeus mora and having to listen to his shit for like 20 seconds again
Honestly just anything hermaeus mora should be on this list
What about being in conversation, and the NPC walks away mid-sentence.
Todd Howard: (Makes an incredible and expansive game)
also Todd Howard: delphine.
I never understood why they force you to kill Paarthunax in order to properly join the Blades, who is probably the most well developed character with the most interesting backstory in the game, because some dumb bitch who barely helps during the main quest said so.
That random solitude one is probably a leftover Penitue Oculatus agent that respawns in the tower of Solitude after the Dark Brotherhood quest line. For some reason the game keeps respawning him for me. Prevents fast travel from Solitude when I'm at the blacksmith or the market place stalls
I was just looking to see if someone else caught this! That bug is the most annoying one but at least I have an infinite supply of Penitus Oculatus armor
i thought i was the only one
This one happens to me every single playthrough without fail so far.
Liked and subscribed because you gave that dog a proper burial
7:44 I hate to admit how many times this has happened to me
When you're cliff hopping to try and get around a mountain and you get stuck, and your most recent quicksave was like half an hour ago
I don't know how common this is, but sometimes dragons will spawn in, start combat, but then NEVER LAND OR ATTACK and then they just fly off? I've started calling those "Scout Dragons"
I've been there, early on in the game(and also when i played it for the first time) it was always this moment of panic and stuff cause i did not have enough potions or whatever to survive and then the dragons just were like: nahhh, imma go
Had t before. Saw a dragon on some mountain vaguely in the direction I need to go, just hoping it will fly away.
Need to do one where you start a brawl wearing Ebony Mail and the poison damage counts as using magic and it gives you a bounty and everyone starts attacking you. 😂
The storm call shout is too good at clearing an area of ANYTHING living, I can't bring my followers or use it at all, which is a shame because it is such a useful shout for the civil war.
Second favorite moment in Skyrim is when I confused Storm Call for another shout and killed a lot of people in Riften.
It works great on magical abominations, if you leave your follower behind.
I forgot Storm Call was active when I decided to fast travel to Windhelm
The guards were not entertained
4:13 so much emotion expressed in no words....
What about those times you accidentally overlevel your non-combat skills and realize too late that any fights you come across mean you're dead.
I gain the most pain from not being able to make up my mind on what class I should play.
At the start I might think, that I will be a light build illusion assassin.
But nooo. Now when I'm level 30, I want to be a heavy armored destruction/conjuration overlord.
i can feel this pain bro whahaha,
now im settled with weird build, but until now i still dont get the skills im wanted also the spellbreaker lol, because having spell breaker without restoration perks will deny my build lol
That’s easy to fix.
Look at starting skills.
You have 5 minor skills (20)
You have 1 major skill (25)
Only level skills that start at 20 or 25. (It’s impossible to not level speech , just don’t spend perk points In It if it’s not a starting skill)
Your characters should cap around level 50 playing like this and you‘ll never become overpowered, your characters will have strengths and weaknesses built into them.
Heavy armour 20
Block 20
One handed 20
Destruction 20
Restoration 25
Enchanting 20
So if a skill is 20 you may only take 1 branch of the perk tree.
If it’s a 25 you can have all perks in that skill.
An imperial would be an enchanted paladin class capable of “turn undead” and be good at either fire, ice or lightning. (Pick 1)
Silver weapons and/or elemental imbued swords and armour. (No smithing or alchemy)
“For the empire” should be your motto.
Mara would be a good choice for your worshipped 9 divine.
Dawn breaker (weapon) spell breaker (armour) and Azuras star (utility) would be the Daedra I would help/acquire from.
So you’d join the legion (wear heavy legion armour)
Side with the blades (upgrade to blades armour)
Destroy the dark brotherhood.
Quest lines that don’t fit with a character you ignore.
Look at a nord.
Smithing 20
Block 20
Two handed 25
One handed 20
Light armour 20
Speech 20
There’s a few things to notice, no magic, no archery, no enchanting, no alchemy.
This is a light armour two-handed build using bash (or block if you go one handed) and shouts.
Healing is difficult as you can’t make awesome healing potions, or use restoration magic.
Your motto is “Skyrim is for the nords”
If they ain’t a nord you don’t help them.
And do not use eleven, orcish or dwarven armours/weapons.
Ones you can use are hide, scaled, and dragonscale. Nothing made by other “dirty” races.
Join the storm cloaks (light storm cloak armour)
Side with the greybeards and become the “way of the voice”
Destroy miraak.
A Breton is a vampiric necromancer. Using thralls and manipulating the battlefield.
An argonian is a pacifist thief (hardest challenge I had, no kills (except mercer Frey punched to death) was seriously tough.
Redguard is a combat archer/dual wield adventurer class (money/rewards, no quest lines)
Orc makes a good werewolf class, killing vampires. Ring of hircine and sinderion as a follower.
Dark elf is a destruction assassin with a follower.(keep Cicero alive)
Khajit is a dagger assassin with no follower (kill cicero)
Bosmer makes a good thief class that goes on to be a nightingale.
High elf has become arch mage of the college of winter hold written all over it. (Use conjuration not thralls/necromancy)
@@christinaedwards5084 woaaah this way is more easier to selecting each perks since you will be always had the main point,
for now my build is following the "veteran of wars", "Jha'zhits" (i think its the name) scrolls which is he given to us for the follower quest (i think), to testing flame cloak scrolls, and anti-undeadanti-undead.
let me make it simple :
Race : Red Guard
Weapon : none
Off Hand : Shield
Magicka : Restoration spell/Destruction spell but limited only Cloak spell and perks.
This Red Guard are Veteran Mercenary back in Hammerfell, but he is got injury in the right hand making it impossible to swing a weapons using that hand, so he is going into College of Winterhold to learn about Magic that can helping him to heals the hand, but in the journey he got mistaking to be rebel and got caught in the prologue of skyrim, and later founds he is Dragonborn then joining the Stromcloak because simply he is despite the Empire so much and the latter we knows about Redguard lore
That and one hitting everything gets really boring, might as well play on very easy and save yourself the tedious grind
For the character you have in mind I think alchemy would be a very powerful choice.
More painful moments:
- every Daedric Prince talking to you
- wearing Cursed Hircine's Ring
- meeting Deepest Fathoms
- Netch Jelly/paralysis on falling from heights gone wrong (crazy ragdoll moment)
- epic ranged killcam on dragon or giant, but the projectile hits a nearby goat or bunny
- merchant runs out of gold to buy your junks and you're still overencumbered
- Thieves Guild jobs on the other end of Skyrim - Markarth
- merchants or quest objective NPC locks their houses to sleep, so you have to wait until morning.
- a Fugitive who stole stuff from a Hunter interrupts your battle and you died in the process.
- sacrificing a follower to Boethiah
- stealing keys from Balgruuf or Farengar to get the Ebony Blade
- walking long treks with an NPC to quest objective. Ex: Paratus, Viarmo, Erandur, Depline and Esbern, Mirabelle
- committing friendly fire on guards/NPC helping you defeat an enemy, and you got a bounty
- everytime you run out of Magicka or Stamina
- Brelyna making your vision green
I made friends with the cult in Raven Rock and used one of their priests to sacrifice to Boethiah.
@@MephiticMiasmawhat cult?
@@ryanpethick650 It's creation club (aka AE) material. It's a morrowind cult of dark elves who still worship the triune in the old way. you get to wipe out their enemies (and get masks of the triune and dagoth ur plus other unique weaponry), one way to do it is by joining them. Their headquarters are a small cave just northeast of Raven Rock.
Add to that:- Follower refusing to open doors when asked to do so, but then unlocking them when it suits them, like when they want to take a shortcut to catch up with the player!
The next best option for boethiah's quest is to do the companion quest line and then take njada up there
Just started a new playthrough for the first time in years and already this video resonates with me on a spiritual level.
You forgot Shadowmere deciding he doesn't want to exist in your save file anymore.
Every time...
I could watch such videos for hours. Always funny to see how much we all can relate to this scenes and smile XDDD
3:28 Losing to Nazeem is worst of all. 😂
Facts😂
When the horse gets in front of the enemy and you accidentally kill him
It’s how I killed my white Arabian in rdr2. I was in a shootout and he got hammered and was dying. I was gonna revive him but another dude was shooting at me so I went to kill him first, right click my mouse to aim at the dude but I locked on the horse and wasted him instead lmao. Poor bastard.
1:44 The amount of times I’ve accidentally clicked the mods instead of settings in the menu, wasted many minutes in that “Loading Mods”.
Bruh i hate it when my team starts attacking each other💀
I often just watch them fight 🍿
Ah, yes. Level geometry that has a hitbox exponentially bigger than what the model suggests; I lost many sneak attack killshots due to that.
05:05 the way the player was moving the camera made me wheeze
You can *feel* the disappointment
whem Lydia gets stuck in a cave but appears outside as long you find your way out
In the first clip, the fact that your head hits a column as your corpse is being tossed away by the dragon that just phased through another column to kill you is adding insult to injury.
When you pick a lock and you try it everywhere, and it is the startong position
When you do the Nightingale mission you get something called a skeleton which is practically an unbreakable lock pick. It’s works wonders.
I can't believe it, but every bit of this was recognizable (and painful). Even more incredible is how much we love this game despite all that.
4:20 Sovengard awaits, my friend.
5:26 That's my pet peeve about RPG games. You find a big tightly locked decorated chest on a secluded spot in a remote haunted island guarded by high level enemies... only to find 5 gold coins, a moldy bread, and some used underwear inside. That's peak adventuring right there.
...I'm an evil wizard in a secluded area, and my underwear keeps going missing. 🤔
the one that annoys me the most is the battle music glitch.
or when you are in combat with a creature that is not even loaded on the map and the red dot stays there forever.
Mucario disappearing for 2-4 hours then showing up out of nowhere to palpatine style steal my kill
You should include when you revisit a mine that you haven't been to in several months where all the ore viens say you can mine them but when you activate, nohing happens. Thanks for sharing our pains!
I think that glitch triggers when you mine by hitting veins instead of using the animation. Don’t know for sure though.
If the veins have respawned and you can't mine them you can go out of the mine and get right back in that always fix it for me. I actually go in out in a mine if i have mined it in the past just so this glitch wont happen.
In regards to the no soul dragons. That only happens when you have previously killed that particular dragon. At least as far as legendary edition is concerned. One soul per dragon. That might be different in special or anniversary.
That’s so annoying.
@@chene-aurelgaudreau1072 as annoying as it sounds there is enough souls to fully max out all the shouts so once you do that there's little reason to continue getting souls.
Yeah, I was about to comment the same thing cuz it's happened to me several times. The main use for killing the "same" dragon multiple times is to collect more bones/scales.
@@chene-aurelgaudreau1072 Its also lore breaking. The dragonborn is supposed to absorb dragon souls, that's what the Dragonborn does.
"I LOVE decorating my house! Let me put some of the treasures I've collected on the shelves."
*Spends literal hours trying to place things just right.*
"Finally, that took awhile. Now for some adventuring!"
*Leaves home. Comes back to find everything on the ground like a tornado hit the place.*
"...are you kidding me...?"
Annoying as this is there is a fix. Just drop the item you wish to place in the room you wish to place it.
Leave the room.
Re-enter the room and then place it where you want it.
I know, I know, it's a pain.. but as Todd Howard says
"It just works".
When you accidentally ate the quest item that won't respawn.
2:34 was the perfect cut
When the manually captured soul gems, despite them being the same, don't stack.
Losing the brawl to Nazeem made me feel a new sense of rage I haven’t felt before
That one quest where you need to fix the broken amulet and the draugr lords you have to fight multiply so half the time you’re getting shouted at and knocked over
That was some straight up BS. Luckily, I had the Ebony mail so I couldn’t die as easily.
The environmental hitboxes are atrocious, but the worst have to be in “Lights Out”.
So much of my Skyrim gametime is just me scrolling through my Favourites tab switching back and forth between random spells and items.
Exactly
You forgot Miraak stealing your dragon soul
the stray dog death is my number 1
NO MORE!, I yield, I YIELD!!
6:20 laughed at that moment when you accidently hit esbern 😂 and then hit short "HUNH!"
GOD, THE LAST ONE LITERALLY JUST HAPPENED TO ME,,, I got Marcurio to activate a lightning rune by telling him to wait on it, then forgot to tell him to follow me again...cue me returning to Sarthaal to pick him up two days later
you forgot to add 'finding maridia's beacon'
One day I had a whole crew and bandits to fight against me. Suddenly a dragon came and guess who he attacked and killed first. Yes my horse
Nooooooooo
@@morianner legit bro haha
The stray dog part genuinely broke my heart 😢💔
did you see a dog out there?
No, just few wolfs.
I’ve seen whole packs of dogs.
Some wolves, but no dogs.
What kind of dog?
Remember that Dog is capitalized, as if it’s the dog’s name
when you use a whirlwind shout while over encumbered in a city and the guards get mad at you
0:14 The USSEP mod actually fixed the problem of you not getting the soul after killing the dragon
When you get into a brawl and they start attacking you
6:40 the pot strikes Nerevar like a heatseeking missile
when you go into an Inn and rents a room then the Innkeeper when showing you to your room, accidentally hits a wicker basket and it flies at you at mack4 and kills you instantly!
The soul trap one is why i love ESOs soul trap mechanic allowing it to become a heal/source of magicka
My worst pain is forgetting to save and have to travel like a mile in a dungeon or over a mountain cause i died
3:20 One good reason to be an Argonian or Kjahit. Plus the Argonians hist ability.
That dragon was all

What about when you’re a high-level lock picking master and somehow you break 45 picks on a low-level lock?
you dont.
