Very much appreciated for not fast forwarding the videos. So much of what is on youtube today and in the pasts have been fast forwarded to fit inside 10 minutes that one can get a headache and an eyestrain just from observing very closely. Just from watching someone paint at normal speed while also listening, one can really learn and see the nuances such that one can only improve by observation, imitation and seeing the examples. It's been a while since I took out a pen and notebook, but it's been worthwhile.
You inspire me to paint more to get better and to make better videos as well. Thank you for a nice little break from everything else in these weird quarantine times 😀
Wow, I've been wondering for a really long time how to tint armor more colors than just silver, gold, brass, etc. This is really going to help my painting, thank you man.
Wow! The timing of the release of this video is perfect! I had planned to not paint a dragon skin cloak, but a DRAGON witch has very little scale detail and now I know where I can get technique reference for the job! Great work as always!!!
"Meager abilities" 🙄 😂 I wasn't feeling the cloak to begin with, but the end result is outstanding! I love the models in Reaper's "Dungeon Dwellers" line, very old school feel, only better old school models are probably the models on offer from Otherworld. If Doc does more Reaper DD models, maybe as an acknowledgement to the state of things, he could do the two plague doctors. ☣
Absolutely love it! Do you have a video about how you do your bases or where you get those particular rounded bases? I think they are incredible and would like to use them on mine as well
Hi, cheers for these tutorials it's a great channel. Have you done a tutorial for the Reaper Bones Beastman warrior or would you do one? It's a goat-headed warrior with a large axe. Thank you! :)
hey Doc Fausts have you ever looked at panting some of the models form the Dropfleet commander table top game there are some really nice models in that game and i love to see what You could those models

I really like the shield on this guy!
I think the green shading for the metal was perfect for this figure. It looked like the metal was reflecting the cloak.
That shield is beautiful!
You are right, that cloak did turn out good!

Excellent job on the cloak, especially given that the cloak was plain to begin with.
great work
I actually like the shield best, cloak is pretty darn cool though.
again another amazing job, so jealous, been painting minis for over 30 years not even in the same zip-code...……..WOW!
That cloak really showed the depth with those layers, amazing!
thanks for not yapping your gums about the virus like every other mini painter on youtube recently.
The mark of a true master of mini painting: being completely unaware of the state of the outside world. ;D
Bradford Taylor that and not face whoring the camera for 90% of the video
i love your shield.....the shield its like it has cloth on it...
Watching you paint Doc, is like watching Bob Ross paint, its so relaxing. Great model!
BEAUTIFUL cloak, shield, etc. TOP NOTCH!
Love that cloak! AWESOME.
Its a gorgeous mini and awesome paint job on it.
Really nice scale effect on the cloak.

Another great video Doc. You continue to inspire me in my journey to better my craft.
Great paint job as always! That cloak looked dope!
Beautiful paint job ... thx
That green tinged metal could work very well on some Alpha Legion perhaps? Great paint job!
looks great
OMG! That cloak! That cloak! OMG!

The Badger I hope so! I just picked up Brother Lazarus from that line and it’s one of my fave Reaper minis
I think it came out great. How would you go about painting a necromancer gnome wizard?
Absolutely love it! Do you have a video about how you do your bases or where you get those particular rounded bases? I think they are incredible and would like to use them on mine as well
Where is the painting of the shield, the most interesting part of the mini?

Are you using spray primer?
Please consider coming to Reapercon this year? Everything else is pretty much cancelled anyway!
Beautiful! Do you thin the metallic paints a lot? I find it difficult to thin metallics with too much water.
hey Doc Fausts have you ever looked at panting some of the models form the Dropfleet commander table top game there are some really nice models in that game and i love to see what You could those models
very cool :)
Do you thin your paints on that tile? Or just wet the brush and dip ? I used to like wet pallet but prefer tile.
The tile is for thinning.
What does vmc and vice mean
