This one wins best in show for painted Red Dragons compared to all the other videos. Well done.
Your dragons always come out looking so beautiful when finished Doc, great stuff as always. I feel like I always learn at least something watching your videos
I'm almost done painting my own young red dragon, and following this tutorial as faithfully as I can. I'm learning so much! But of course what takes you three hours has already taken me 3+ weeks, but that's just where I'm at. Thanks for making such great stuff!
That has to be the the most visually appealing dragon I have ever seen. You are by far my most watched and favorite painter. Thank you for all of your hard work and letting us come along for the journey.
I just grabbed a couple of the young dragons series from my FLGS, and I think I need this one as well. Excellent colors and it gave me lots of ideas for when I finally get my own!
Such a lovely combination of colors, textures, and overall technique. Love your work!
I've watched countless channels trying to learn better painting techniques and this channel is as good as any. i have a red dragon coming so it's on my agenda to paint and your theme is far superior to anything i had imagined. Very nice work!
Beautiful piece, and this looks like something we might be able to try on our own paint benches. Thank you for the awesome vid!
Incredible! I love the paint scheme. It's simple but really effective. Also the color transitions are extremely impressive.
Beautiful job!!
That’s a cracking paint job. The colours are beautiful, and make the mini come alive. I’d love to fight it on the tabletop
i think i saw this miniature at phoenix fire games and it is awesome in person!
That is beyond AWESOME!! Please do the green dragon next!
I do believe he already has, he's done a blue dragon as well. Next up would be a white dragon if Tony hasn't already done that yet, let's check his past videos.
Amazing as always. Love the paint job on the wings. That was the hardest part in my opinion..
Awesome dragon!
your work is always so great
Nice work on this miniature! Not sure if you’ll see this comment but I’d love some info on how you broke the stand off, I want to try doing the same on mine…
Me encanto los colores que tiene❤
Really nice paint job👍🏻 Will try it on one of the dragons from the previous reaper bones is.
God, perfect timing. I stole everything you did for your blue dragon to make my own, lots of circles on the wings etc and people thought I was amazing, even though as you said, is just time and circles. Excited to see what I can steal from this one as I got a red dragon coming up, though I plan to make him a black/red dragon as the other one covers my green/blue.
I have to say love the colours I will have to nick this painting technique for a dragon I have to paint next year in my pile of shame.
Wow. You killed it
Great stuff friend 👏 👍
great video, thanks. what color/product did you use for the dark gray base coat/primer
Love the way this is done and am taking inspiration on how to do the base better! Gotta ask though, what material are you using for the grass tufts? That's one thing I haven't been able to figure out yet. Thanks!
There be dragons!
Dragons are always crowd pleasers
That outcome. The only thing that would make it look any better is perhaps more pixels and some close up shots.
Damn, that's a pretty dragon
How would this scale with GW character models? Considering a different dragon for my high elf general and this looks perfect.
It's much smaller than the GW dragons.
Damn it… now I need to order more paints…
I love your painting videos.Would you please make a video of Cthulhu miniature? I’m looking forward to it.😆😆
Are you using Vallejo inks?
Love your videos :-) always inspiring ... although the background music always makes me sleepy.
Thanks for making this video. I do not like the way they have the mount in the dragon's chest either. I have never pinned anything before, did you use a 1/16" brass rod to do that? Thanks!!
Looks awesome, though the flames would probably look better painted, currently looks a bit like water.
Beautiful work, you went beyond just painting it all bright red and put tonal variations in the color scheme, I likes! However, the fire breath effect piece is a bit too glossy, kinda looks like the dragon is puking up a bunch of Jell-O!
I use a lot of the same techniques.
Silly question Dr. are inks just a thinner version of paints? Or a different creature altogether?
Real inks are a different beast. Very thin and intense in color.
@@ThePaintingClinic Thank you.Dr. I found some Amsterdam Acrylic Inks and I bought one bottle to experiment with. What are some of your favorites?
@@MichaelHall-uj9qh I mostly use black, brown and sepia.
Nice design but no details on the face or the claws/feet need bit more description to complete the guide.

Impressive - nice job, but that thing in the mouth doesn't work.
