It nearly blew my ear drums I still had the sound level as listening to music. OMG. I'm looking for a set of open headers and black window are about 6 miles from where I live so I was considering them, but as you said they are cheaper than a lot of others. I think I may purchase a new set from them. I was waiting till this review you just done to make my mind up about them. Thanks for the vid bruv.
Are the baffles in the end can? both times you started it with the can on, there was a noticeable rattle. I'd like to see the new position from the full on side view, otherwise I can't judge if it looks okay to me or not, did you leave it? Also not to say it's wrong, but you don't generally need exhaust paste on modern exhausts with those types of clamps, you should get no air leaks without it (as long as the clamps are fitted correctly), I thought about using some but did not bother.
Good comparison 👍 I think the mivv I had on the MT 07 would of sounded different if it was mounted underneath the bike But with it being mounted on the rear foot rest having the longer pipe gave it a real deep sound I miss that bike 😔
@spicy the low mount looks better that's what I'm running on my mt ( baffle is removed tho ) quick question how do remove rust spots on my swingarm without paying to get it powder coated.
Hey man! Love your video! Just bought same exhaust to My 2014 XJ6! I found out when cruising in 80-100km/t, i have e vibration in the bike. This make me fast tired in arms when driving, do you have the same?
If you mean tired in the sense you have to hold the bars in place, then it could be a front wheel imbalance or an issue with the tyre. Really can't say anymore as that is not enough detail.
i, for one, think that giant stainless pipe stands out a bit and needs wrapping black. Whenever i see an underslung type i always think "yea, i wanna buell too". They both sound fine, i prefer the bassier feel of the side mount, and, when comparing it to other videos it has a more consistent volume level when you wind it on - need more videos for a better comparison really
Hey dude love your videos getting my first bike in a week to 2 watched your vid on the Sinnis or the Lexmoto think I’m gunna go for lexmoto just is 2 grand worth it ???
Haha okay good can’t wait to finally get a bike I’m 22 will probably do my full License but want to get at least a years worth of riding experience first :-) would you agree ?
I think everyone on a 125cc gets a louder pipe. As to what one well that depends on what bike you have. Just do some googling and research your options then research the one you like. 👍
Yer defo prefer the lower look but in person the sound is more rounded and pleasant, much nicer on the bike riding but! I am a UA-camr so i guess it's going back to ear gold haha

Have you had any issues with the exhaust being too loud since it's only 200mm? On the website it says it's not road legal but I was wondering if you've had any issues with MOT's or police, cheers for any help!
Mate, I have the same bike and just bought this exhaust... I have a question, that seems a bit obvious but got me worried for a moment: are the rear footpegs still usable normally after this? I use the bike for some trips with the missus at times and this would be a killer! Cheers and ride safe!
Because I am totally up front (unlike some) I will tell you metzler supplied these tyres for review. (So I do have a review) but I am always honest how I find things. in short I really like them. Good grip wet and dry. Warm up quick and seem to last a good while!
Hi from Russia;); I have XJ6 and Leovince SBK exhaust installed on it. Sound on xj6 is not the best) the reason is - short pipes. So longer pipe sounds better and "deeper". With another longer muffler sound will be more deep and smooth. But looks long muffler on xj6 bad, reason - low passanger footpegs.
@@spicy110do you have a video removing the cat and installing this? I have 2011 model ans have currently the leovice slip on can I just put these with the cata ?
What one do you think sounds best? and what one do you think looks best?
spicy110 1st👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Looks I’d say underslung but definitely leave it like that, sounds beefier
I have mine side mounted, and 100% still have my centre stand 👍
Not sure about the new look but it deffinatly sounds better
Looks 1st, sounds 2nd.
Sounded like deeper base sound with link pipe? Sounds better but prefer the look with unserslung!! Sods law🙄

longer pipe looks cool, and sounds much better in my opinion!!! digging the new intro tune too:) much love from the isle of wight X
I love my black widow on my KTM Duke. Had it for 5 months amazing sound for the price.
Longer pipe definately sounds better, especially on the overrun. I say stick the centre stand back on it and call it good.
It sounds deeper, in the comparison. I like the new place. Just looks funky there.
Defo deeper sound and really like it, prefer the look of it as well 👍
Yer the looks are actually starting to grow on me because it's kinda different. 🙂

I got my Black Widow for my old XJ600 (1992) for £249.00 and its great even after 3 years now. The only problem is oil change time.
So much nicer after both sound and looks
Good comparison 👍

Much prefer the new look and sound :)
agreed
Looking at the 200mm from BW atm do you find it OK I don't want it to sound cheap and crap I know videos you don't get a true sound
@spicy the low mount looks better that's what I'm running on my mt ( baffle is removed tho ) quick question how do remove rust spots on my swingarm without paying to get it powder coated.
Still a beauty no matter where the exuast sits

Yes this video was useful as I'm buying one for my bike next week, ....... should pep up the old v-twin note lol

does highpoint still shoot flames like the low mount? i rlly like the low mount fireballs

2 grand is cheap for a bike. That wr125x is over 4!

Maybe like A guilar string when longer thicker it's more a lower bass tone like trumpet Vs a trombone...oslt
Would you recommend getting an exhaust system for a 125 and which ones
I think everyone on a 125cc gets a louder pipe. As to what one well that depends on what bike you have. Just do some googling and research your options then research the one you like. 👍
I think I prefer the look without the link pipe too, and the sound on video.

Haha, I think I am gonna end up deaf in the name of UA-cam with my bikes! :D

Slightly lower pitch and I have to say i liked it sounds different when your on it compared to the still view but it already sounded good
underslung definitely looks better

Nope no issues at all at multiple testers.
How does yours seem so quiet, ive got a 300mm one for my mt125 bloody thing is really loud,
Maybe because you listen to it in real life? Not a video?
I think it sounds better more traditional screaming 4 than before it was a bit more shouty
Yer that is pretty accurate it is still just as loud but somehow less harsh on the ear.
Like the short pipe i had xj6n was great bike do over 30 thousand miles

Yep no issues there, i also take my other half on the back when she's not riding her bike so i too wouldn't what to lose that.
spicy110 cheers man! That’s great news! Enjoy...
I've noticed you're running Roadtec 01s. How are they treating you?
Because I am totally up front (unlike some) I will tell you metzler supplied these tyres for review. (So I do have a review) but I am always honest how I find things. in short I really like them. Good grip wet and dry. Warm up quick and seem to last a good while!

The bigger the mm in the Kat the Lowder the sound?
The cat is removed as the stock system is one part
@@spicy110do you have a video removing the cat and installing this? I have 2011 model ans have currently the leovice slip on can I just put these with the cata ?
I wish there was someone who did a black widow exhaust on an LXR 😁😂 tbh i’m on about fitting the Lextek VP6
Spicy black widow or lextek??
I can't give a complaint about either from the ones I have. Sorry not much help haha
Would you be able to fit panniers with exhaust on that place?
I have only seen the tail box style rack that hangs way off the back for this bike so honestly don't know.
Sounds and looks better short
Well i think the shorty one looks rather pleasant
I like it when it was higher up
I like it more a 4;07 mate looks a lot better to me
Maybe I should film my bike exhaust, got a feeling it would be louder.
You can not gauge volume with recorded audio.
Looks wise the under slung for sure, the side mount doesn't fit the lines of the bike.
That’s a definite no 😬 look wise but understand having it like that will make bike maintenance easier
New intro song ?!?!
7:00 chewbacca slip-on
Sounds slightly beefier to me.
The longer the pipe the more backpresure better for your engine
The only problem you got is the catalyst under your engine
The cat was removed with the old system. This is a full open system. 🙂
nice vid! Got an install video of my blackwidow under my hornet (cb600f) aswell! #kiwiiyt
gggg"z man when u doing a face reveal
2nd
Anty sosual as hell made me laugh.....
Think u might be needing new rear sprocket soon looks like shark teeth
Underslung looks better but I think it sounds better when you rev the engine with it extended 👍
Great vid and well worth doing also👍
3 dislikes. Wtf is wrong with these people 🤔
CHIMAY!!!!!!
