- XSR900 Black Widow Exhaust Install! The BEST EXHAUST for Yamaha MT09, FZ09, FJ09, and XSR900!
We installed a Black Widow Exhaust on my buddies' XSR900! In my opinion, Black Widow UK's exhausts produce the best exhaust sounds for the CP3 or triple yamaha motors. Black Widow Exhaust also makes exhausts for the XSR700 as well!
Black Widow Exhausts also are incredibly affordable, good quality and very popular in the UK. This exhaust and installation would be the exact same for the MT09 (MT-09), FZ09 and the FJ09 from this generation. This is the perfect exhaust for your MT09, FZ09, or XSR900 & XSR700

Superb clear video. I too fitted a black widow full carbon can system, love it. Also had the ais system removed and had it dynod. Extra 9bhp and 6 ftlb of torque.
Hell yeah the Black widow exhaust the full exhaust with the headers did so much I believe the power commander in ECU flash is why I get to spitfire
Will I need a tune if I get just exhaust? Everything is stock on my 2019 but these beasts are far too quiet. I like the baffled system you have
Wondering the same thing
I got my headers in today and they are in 3 separate pieces that need to be fitted together. In the video, yours were already put together. The exhaust included a tube of exhaust assembly paste. Is this what you used to seal the headers so that it wouldn’t leak? Is it required? I just want to try to avoid putting it all together and having an exhaust leak and having to take it all back apart.
Whatever you do, do not use that paste! Use anti seize instead on all the joints. Headers are always a bit of a pain but this a great system once its done!
Welllllll, shiiiit
So to break apart the paste if you need to down the road, your going to need to use alcohol and WD40, rubber mallet and a lot of shaking and moving around.
I'm so happy they had this same exact tune and exhaust and headers with my bike you should break 130 horsepower easily maybe even 140 if you got the ECU with the regular power Commander 6 and full exhaust with aftermarket intake but before anything else I'm going with a steering dampener tank slappers happen on this bike they do I don't care what you say 20 plus years of riding and I can tell you I've never had a bike that gives tank slappers probably because of all the extra power.. 100 horsepower 90 horsepower that would have been good for this .. I love how obnoxious it is though
Hey Bro, I got the same thing with 3 separate pieces. How'd you make out?
Is that with 1 baffle or 2 baffles? I know it comes with 1 baffle pre installed and you can add an extra one if you want
I cannot believe Trent isnt eating in this video
He was. I kept telling him to move his chips and guacamole out of frame.
@@MotoViceOfficial😂😂😂
Hi MotoVice, did you ECU tune the bike afterwards or is it not necessary with this system?
Regards,
Hi there. We were going to since we did the air filter but my buddy got into a wreck on this bike. If you are just doing the exhaust its not absolutely needed but sending out your ecu for a flash will definitely get the air fuel ratio corrected and get the most out of your exhaust.
@@MotoViceOfficialI just crashed 2 and 1/2 weeks ago on my xsr 900 honestly it's probably got too much power for a cafe racer in my opinion maybe it's cuz I'm kind of small but it's really hard to hold on maybe after I get the windshield 09 to xsr 900 they will always stuck and I went out and bought one completely done up I don't know if there's a stock part on my bike
And more power...
Yes blackwidow makes great exhausts and always recommend them for these triples or someone on a budget. My buddy got a blackwidow system for his KTM890 and loves it.
How much weight did you save?
