- In this weeks upload, I'm really excited to be swapping the stock silencer (end can) out for a Blackwidow, stainless oval end can. I also take you on a post fitting noise test and you'd be surprised at my findings.
I opted specifically for the 300mm silencer as its was shorter than the stock version, but longer than most 'stubby' options, meaning I can run the bike with the baffler out and enjoy that harmonious noise the Blackwidow makes.

Thanks buddy - it sounds nice too. It has a nice 'burble' when you roll off the throttle without being too loud to live with
That is quite an increase. Remember 3db is equivalent to almost twice as loud!
It's different but I'd argue by no means twice as loud. Different sound in so much its a deeper tone but not an aggressive sound as I don't want my ears to bleed when I'm on long trips.

Removed my black window on my T7, did my head in on duel carriage way, motorway that was with baffle in, 👍

It was from ebay. If you do a search for motorcycle exhaust protection, this type and many more come up.

Hi mate, just picked up a Tenere last week and looking at getting a black widow slip on… what length muffler did you go for?
And do you have any long term updates? Did you keep running it baffle out in the end? Cheers.
Hi there, I went for the 320mm as I wanted to run it with the baffle out and that's what I do. Absolutely no regrets at all.
It's a deeper sound but not ear bleeding or offensive. I do a lot of trail riding so do pass other users of our lanes - the last thing I wanted was a lary bike.
