Alpine Slide at Attitash, NH - GoPro Hero2

The alpine slide at Attitash resort in NH. I went through about 20 sleds before I found one that I could fix the GoPro to! It barely worked, but it worked...

Ha!!! I remember going on vacation to Lake Winnipesaukee in the late 70s and early 80s when I was a little kid. We'd always go Alpine sliding! Didn't even realize they still had these things.

I rode this in the summer of 2000.What fun it was.The 1st slide I rode on was in Winter Park,Co. in 1992.This one and the one in Co.are about the same length.

I remember going down this as a child. The first time i was with my father, he had to sit with me but still let me drive. We wound up flying off the course, he has a scar on his arm and burned all of the skin off, because we both slid down the slide. I was fine, but he hit me in the face with the sled by accident, making my lip bleed, lol.
We wen't back a few years later, where i got to drive on my own. It's so much fun, i miss going :(

Stupid question. Isn't there something they can fill the cracks in with that will eliminate the constant ca clump ca clump ca clump noise? I recognize the need for the separation and that epoxy cannot be used but is there nothing that can be used?

I’m 5 years late, but I’ll answer for those who still want to know.
No, to say it simply, there isn’t really much that could be used to fill in the cracks without increasing discomfort, making a lot of noise, or causing you to accelerate off the track. I find the noise slightly satisfying, but I guess it depends on opinion.
