Some of those turns are quite abrupt it seems. I don't know why you'd go through all that trouble to build that thing without smoothing them out.

we have one nearby which is like a fourth of the length but it's still awesome. A few years ago they sold tickets that let you ride all day which was amazing

They took a look at this beautiful yet wasted mountain during the summer months and came up with this great idea. Doesn't need anything like electricity. Only gravity.

Thats was so damn awesome! This is perhaps the most exciting mountain coaster I've ever seen thus far. What great about these is that they are so long!!! This looks like so much fun!
The problem with lots of them though, most of them have brakes so you can slow yourself down if you feel you need to. So if there is a person in front of you always breaking and you wanna go faster you can't do anything about it. Myself I would never even touch the brakes lol. Full speed ahead, not worth it any other way.

WOW! Honestly, this looks like it's more fun to ride, than those terrain coasters that fly's through the greenery surrounding it at 60 plus miles per hour. I've lived in California all my life. I've been to all the parks out here, starting at a young age. I envy the little boy in the video for having being able to experience this through a child's eye's. I bet he has some awesome memories of this experience.

@@hanselmanryanjames Was thinking how cool this could be on straightaways between redwoods like in the speeder bike scene from ROTJ. But in America some idiot would fall off on purpose, sue and that would be the end of that. But I'm thinking this kind of track seems easy/cheap to build and if I had land id make my own track:)

This is a wonderful video. It shows the father and son pattern in its beautiful form. The child is so happy riding this alpine coaster and the father sees all that. And the track is also a very gorgeous one. I really like, love and adore this wonderful kind of video. ❤💛💙

I'm utterly speachless up here in Northern Ontario Canada! This idea is beyond scope for me to fathom...wow that is unreal. What a great memory you guys made there...The length, steepness, monorail design and unique buggy-boogie concept is absolutely amazing to have brought forth into reality! Let's not forget like others before me mention who are not familiar with the area just how ruggedly beautiful your area is, very fortunate to live around there.
I'm planning a trip in the near future and will now be stoked to ride the rail trip down....YEE HAWW>>>

Just a normal vieuw in the Alpine mountain countries like Germany, Swiss or Austria. And those Rodelbahn mountain tracks are also in several places in those countries.

Wenn niemand hinter mir wäre, würde ich ultra langsam runterfahren, um einfach diese geniale Bahn mit ihrer Umgebung zu genießen.
Am besten 2x zu verschiedenen Tageszeiten. Wenn man älter ist, schockt einen Geschwindigkeit nicht mehr. Achterbahnen sind langweilig für mich.
Aber diese Anlage weckt noch den Reiz!

I think it would be too dangerous for Americans. In the smallest accident, lawyers would sue the operator to ruin.
@@Renville80 Nothing like this ride, I saw a video of the Branson ride and it's lame compared to this.
At leaast one of the Vermont ski areas had something like it but not on rails. It was sort of a trough, probably fiberglass, upon which individual cars would run on wheels. There were brakes too of course. Great fun.
Gatlinburg Tennessee has lots of them. Not as long as this one that i know of.

If I was the person in the second car I'd really be unhappy that the front car kept hitting their brakes and slowing me down, I would immediately get a ride back up the mountain to do it again, but making sure I was first this time
