You guys asked for it, well here it is!
This is my brothers car, I did most of the work on this car.
I may forgot some small stuff like retrofitting cruise control, wrapping the trim of the steering wheel, Deleted the whole EGR pipes, It also received a new clutch and flywheel, maintenance stuff... . This is also not the end of this car, it will receive some new parts soon! :)

I have the same car same color , I'm changing the steering wheel ,the radio for an oenon stereo , I'm wrapping the trunk with carbon fiber , and changing the front bumper for a M tech bumper , 🙌

Nice builds, good content, can you make acceleration video of this car? i have the same model 318d 2004 but the engine is stock, can you give me more info about remaping and racing chip if used
Now the car had some upgrades after making this video. It received a Hybrid Turbo, 535D Injectors, airtec intercooler and remapped file. It now pushes 250hp and 550Nm :)

It’s worth it if you want it to be a nice build. I would do a lot of bolt ons exhaust and tune

Alot has changed since this video... It now has 260hp and 580Nm of torque

Nice job, but why spend money on this engine ? Why not starting with a 30d? I mean you could reach double the power easily, when this one is blowing up.
Propere build man! Welke type is dit juist? Ik was aan het kijken voor een 316i aangezien ik nog niet zo heel lang mijn rijbewijs heb & nog geen vast inkomen heb😅 weet jij soms of het veel zou uitdoen om een 316i te chippen? Bimmmergang🔥
Dit is de 318D van mijn broer waar ik aan werk! :) Ikzelf heb een 318i die aangepast is. Als je een 316i koopt moet je de generatie pakken tussen 98-01 met 105 pk of de 318i van 98-01 met 118pk! De 316 is gemakkelijk om om te zetten naar 318i. Is beide idem motor M43B19 :) ik zou geen 316-318i kopen in facelift vorm dus na 02 want dat zijn echt kutblokken :)
CS WorkZ bedankt voor de info! Welke denk jij dat meer prestatie zou maken bij het chippen? Ik heb van verschillende mensen gehoord dat de 318d meer pk zou krijgen dan een 318i bij het laten chiptunen?🙂
Jup een 318D kan je namelijk heel ver tunen. Dit is idem blok als 320d op balansassen en verstuivers en turbo na. Mijn broer zijn 318D was gechipt stage 2 van 116pk en 260nm naar 188pk en 460Nm dit is dus gwn downpipe en software aangepast. Het is mogelijk om deze blokken op 260pk te zetten zonder dat ze open gedaan moeten worden. Na 260-270pk wordt het riskant ;)
Mijn 318i staat op 136pk en 211Nm van 118pk en 180Nm dit omdat dit een NA motor is zonder turbo dus ben je nog altijd beperkt.

CS WorkZ juist nog 1 vraagje, welke uitlaat zou jij aanraden? Ik zou echt graag burbles willen, vind ik fkng vet. Zat te denken aan straight pipe, maar mijn buren hebben namelijk een baby & wil niet dat mijn ouders ruzie krijgen met de buren daardoor😅

Perhaps instead "tuning" ensuring that your engine does not smoke like locomotive during acceleration?
This was a hard stage2 tune that was on there, turbo maxed out, injectors also... It has changed alot since this video ... Bigger injectors, turbo, intercooler, hard pipes etc... It now has 260hm and 580Nm of torque

Downpipe + egr delete + other software, the car now has 250hp and 530nm torque

The rims are Foxx racing. 8J ET35 with 225/35 in front and 8.5J ET35 with 255/30 in rear

hello, just wanted to ask how is the engine doing after ecu remap i have the same 318d and was thinking of a remap but im not so sure of any benefit
Still holding up, soon installing 535d injectors, airtec intercooler, hybrid turbo :)

It's a sunstripe, it's done via window tint
That exhaust is just making noise... 20d does not sound good like that :-/

Its a diesel what did you expect? Lol it now has a valve exhaust system its much better but still a diesel :)
@@ChaZingSlaYeRz It has that 4 cylinder fart cannon buzzing, I dont like that on german saloons, and I think turbodiesel can sound cool, adding a mid box and perhaps larger rear silencer would help.
