how u did fit that wheel? prefacelift has 1 wire airbag and m3 has 2 wires
@@keijonen92 my car was built after november 99 so I already have a double stage module :) you just need the wire from the m3 steering wheel then plug and play, also you have to code the ecu that it is a stage 2 airbag :p

@@keijonen92 not 10/99 it needs to be after 11/99 :/ otherwise you need a stage 2 module

my 2000 BMW 328 doesn't look that bad. You might like it. It's making 208 HP at wheels; imgur.com/a/OnqeK3r; My plan is to drive and repair/upgrade this car for a very long time. I mean why would you bother for a new car when all you need is a straight 6 and road to admire it :-)

damn this is actually my dream car, I also hope to get my first job as I'm close to 18 to save up some money and buy an E46 (it doesn't have to be the M one). I would feel proud of myself. By the way your car is amazing not gonna lie

Do it. Living in the US I was told to get away from used imports like BMW, so I bought a Ford Focus SVT as my first car, which costed me a lot of money down the road finishing with catastrophic engine failure. As my second car I bought a 97’ e36 328ic and it’s been so reliable , I perform all maintenance as well preventive maintenance, working on my Bimmer has been much easier than on the Ford or my uncle’s Toyota MR2. So far it’s got alright power but nothing like a supercharger to get it going. Currently looking to buy an e46 Touring.

Wow. Awesome transformation. Would love to see how it's going to look at the very end. Have a silver e46 myself, and been wanting to change it to dark grey and get a few cosmetics put on it, and get rid of the dated amber turn signals.

@@EngineeringNibbles sorry for the late response! You can message me via instagram @blvck_e4six for faster replies. We had a scrapped BMW at my work so I just pull parts from that one :) it is currently 9.6l/100km combined and yup I bought the car for around 3k but i've spend alot more to have it where it is now. I recommend to buy the pre facelift petrol 4 cilinder because it has the M43B19 engine and not the crappy N engine where you have more power but more problems. If you want to know more message me! :)

I just started watching another channel (Car Throttle) last week and he has an e46 wagon with a diesel and he's making it into a track car. He's doing upgrades little by little to see how well each of them cut track times. Weird car to track, but impressive in that he went against his buddies e92 and was only a few seconds slower and seems to think that he'll eventually be able to beat the e92's time.
I guess those diesels (another e46 that we don't have here) are pretty torquey? I wouldn't mind having one either. They're another car that looks awesome with the CSL wheels :)

Hi, that sound at 3:45 is lovely super cool. I have 318i like first car too and I'm going to buy Montii or Novus exhaust for better sound. Normally 318i have queit and nice sound, but i want to make it louder. Nice work man. It look and sound cool. :)

CPYZDRA 11 Sometime later, but it is a pain to make it legal, I have to unregister it and register it to a other country, do the swap wait 3 months and register it back in my country... Also that will cost alot :p
ChaZing SlaYeRz you can get a certification for this engine swap from BMW, that shouldnt be such a problem to get it legal because they ran the same chassis with this motor
I have to search this up :) but Belgium (where i live) is one of the only countries where engine swapping is illegal :/

Thanks! it has now schmiedmann slothed rotors and hella pagid pads, it is lowered on ap coilovers, I just keep my KN filter for now and headers are on the to do list :)

I respect your work but way to much carbonfiber for me, i dont like the M3 bumper on a 318/316 and if you were going for the M3 bumper atleast get it at the rear aswell.... But its your car and your choice, what ever makes you happy :)
imo you should have bought a m52b28tu or m54b30 and swapped it instead of the 4 for the money you have spend on looks

Are you going to reinforce the rear subframe? These cars are amazing but that's a big weakpoint, quite literally.

Only on the high power models. This car seems to be from belgium where cars usually don’t have over 170hp. There is a good chance this car is even below 150 (318d or 320d)

It is not very common to have subframe issues with the 4cyl petrol, on diesels it more common here and it is an m43 engine so yes below 150hp, first car... :( swapping is illegal here there are some ways to make it legal via importing and exporting but that is maybe something for the future :)

It s not that I would take so long to build it it takes long to rise the money if u are a student and it s more fun to do it step by step than everything at the same time because u appreciate every single change
