Nothing more relaxing than watching someone's fingers move steadily toward a saw blade 😁
Ha.... Ha ...
U can put your finger into a saw blade😂😂😂
Please use push sticks near saw blades. That segment made me as nervous as a cow with a buck-toothed calf.
He will have a close call or worse and then he will realise. It happened to me and i dont go anywhere near it now
I was so tense!
If you drain the old electrolyte out of the battery, flush it with distilled water, then refill it with fresh electrolyte, there is a high probability that it will work again. It's worth a try.
I believe it had holes in the battery casing.
I was shocked that the bulbs still worked after all that time. You made it into an art piece! Really beautiful.
She looks like she has seen the Seven Seas. I like unusual lanterns like this. Makes for an interesting restoration subject. Well done, and yes, brass deserves to be displayed in its natural glory.
I actually really like seeing and learning about old batteries. That was a nice bonus.
I am not that familiar with maritime artifacts but that is a beautiful old piece and good that you saved it. Amazing that the original light bulbs still operate. Excellent work!
Old incandescent bulbs are incredibly resilient things, especially running at low currents.
This is why I love antiques so much. Older things were made to last.
That was a beautiful restoration. I was quite surprised that the glass was still intact. 👏🏻
S.A.F.T. must have made excellent cases for their batteries: I expected this one to have been eaten through by the acids that appeared to have leaked out, but as your shot at the end shows, the case is still in splendid condition.
Nice job, will be watching more of your work 👍
I have found this channel and I am again down the rabbit hole of wonder and appreciation for your talent.
I love seeing how you polish everything including screws. And of course the sandblaster is amazing! Just fascinated how well the gloves protect the hands.
Beautiful job of restoration! I have an old sailing ships lantern that used whale oil and was hoisted up the tallest mast at night. I won't sell it! It's a thing of beauty to.
Wonderful job on the old battery too.
Beautiful, what a unique lamp!
There isn't anything like a good sand blaster. Color looked great, well done.
OLD THINGS NEVER DIE! YES INDEED! YOU are MAGNIFICO! I love seeing haw you work. Thank you!
Being that I am 82 years old , happy to hear old things never die ...lol
Love watching you work.
Not only are the restorations really interesting but the cinematography and audio is actually really great too!! Nice work!
Nice job. I remember those big batteries, they lasted forever but weighed a ton!
Sand blasting part is the most satisfying part to me.
Oh yes, same here!!
I like the idea of neon color. Perfect for a blackout
I love the little pieces of humor you slip in. Please keep letting us watch your skill.
I love it an i like these kind of lamps. 👍
Yes I absolutely love brass brightness, as well as fresh, bright copper and all highly polished metals.
I'm planning to buy a polishing wheel for the bench grinder at the plant just so I can make a few things shiny after watching so many awesome restorations
Nice work man,that is true,,
"The old things never die"
Excelente trabalho. Saudações do Brasil 🇧🇷
I really enjoyed watching this video as old electrical items are of particular interest to me,
and details on SAFT and their connection to French railways especially so.
Thank you for your excellent videos. Best wishes from Oxfordshire, Uk.
Very nice result indeed, those old French bulbs were amazing, well done mate!
I was sure they would be dead, well no 😉
J'adore tes restaurations !
Very nice work.
I like the fact that you don't needlessly change things for the sake of it, and only when required (ie, the battery).
A lot of people would have tried to add USB charging, LiIon batteries, LED's etc. I would not have liked that.
So thank you for keeping what you can intact.
I just wish things were still made this well.
Very nice restoration work... Reminds me of the old railroad lanterns that I like. I am surprised that the lens was in such nice shape. It would certainly have been quite visible from afar. Well done!
This was such an amazing restore, thank you so much for sharing
Beautiful is that, Buddy, lovely work, as usual. That is gorgeous looking ship Lamp! 🤟👍👍
I love your photography and editing style. It makes it very enjoyable to watch and entertaining. Great channel!
Thanks for the history lesson. It helps tell the piece's story.
Beautiful object I wish I can find something like that. Great job.
Thank you 👍, yes the lamp style is cool 😍
You did a grand job. Thank you for sharing.
Beautifully done. Love the brass touches.
"Old Things Never Die" Title of next James Bond film.
For such a small channel, I love how you do things.
Thank you, other projects are coming soon. 🙂
Let your light so shine forth... Nice job indeed!

Fantastic job 👏👍👌🙌😀💪
The relaxing moment 😂!
I loved the relaxing moment

Fantástico trabajo y muy bien terminado. Lástima no poder recuperar la batería original. Felicidades.
Wonderful job!! Your videos are great!
excelente restauración.
funfact: Light Bulbs used to last about 20k hrs, before light conglomerates got together in the 40s or so to hire scientists to make a lightbulb that dies quicker, so people would buy more lightbulbs.
Este sim, um bom restauro. O objeto continua a parecer antigo !!
Congratulations buddy, you create works of art
Wow. Muy bien hecho.
Great job!
Very beautifully done.
It's a case that old things never die.
It is perfect. You are the best. Greetings from Brazil.

Beautiful Job ! Great adaptation for the no longer obtainable battery 😀

Fantastic restoration 👍👍👍👍 I just subscribed to your channel. Woo Hoo.
This is like the sixth restoration UA-camr I’ve watched and everyone of them polish the brass. I personally love the look of antiqued brass it’s character. And I know everyone has their own person taste. I just can’t believe that of the hundreds of videos and several restoration UA-camrs I’ve watch not one has left the natural patina.
Good job. Well done.
