Fantastic restoration, intrigued by the brass “plating” technique, do you just heat the part and then rely on the brass coating transferring from the brush? Never seen that before. 😊
It looks like the great grand father of the pinball machine. Great restoration. As many people here, I too thought a games table green felt would've been a much better choice but I understand that these are make-do with whatever comes to hand times. Have fun 😊
Bravo, très beau travail de restauration. J'aime beaucoup le fait que la vidéo et la musique se suffisent à eux-mêmes pour que l'on passe un excellent moment. Merci
Pretty cool game. I'm surprised you managed to find one of those in that condition. That French game really is a Game of Skill. Great restoration btw! Keep up the good work! :D
Wow, what an incredible old toy, when you see it, it is something very complicated to play. I have never played that, even though I am from Chile, I would love to play it. I have that printer too. 😁
I can't get enough of these game restorations, especially the pinball, bagatelle style ones. I can see that this is one of your early restorations compared to the larger pinball one. Nicely done and thanks.
Nice job!! I just subscribed, I love your work so far! You should definitely look into getting a Cricut machine eventually; it'll help you a lot with cutting out words and pieces!
Your ironing skills are impeccable!!😉 Where do you get your items, yard sales, family, and friends?? Keep the videos coming ....I especially like the actual doing its job! Thanks for sharing your talent. West Virginia, USA 🇺🇸
I bet he passed more time trying to score the 1000 hole than restoring the board 😂😂 Jokes aside: that was a very good restoration! Keep up the great work 😄
Excellent restoration, with creativity and quick thinking. The t-shirt was a clever substitute, the font used is better than the original, and the demonstration of how to play was very satisfying! Funny ending!
very interesting application of the ship of theseus dilemma in these restoration videos. at what point does it change from restoration to a different product? how much of the initial piece needs to be retained?
I think the point of restoration is to see what things used to be like when they were new. If some parts don't look like new, it's not a full restoration.
I agree. He replaced too much of the original for this to be called a restoration. The thing that infuriated me most was that he didn’t keep the original font for the plates. In the end a nice toy, I guess, but more like a brand new thing than a restored vintage product.
I was not expecting that at the end of the video. I choked on my drink and now I have to wipe my screen off. That was gold! definitely subbing, great work!
I’m a new subscriber and I love how you put your personality into these videos. I giggled so much a the stop motion part at 3:30 ish. I also love that you put how long things really take you like recreating the bell for the pinball table.
I love your channel , from the first video I ever saw , I've watched all your videos and can't wait for future ones to come . Merci Beaucoup . Sending best wishes to you .
After you watch this video, you should check my first Coffee Grinder Restoration here 😉😝

Loved your humor, loved your work! More videos please :)
Thanks for comment 👍, i'm working for the next project, it comes next weekend
Fantastic restoration, intrigued by the brass “plating” technique, do you just heat the part and then rely on the brass coating transferring from the brush? Never seen that before. 😊
Exactly, brass is tender metal so by heating it, it's sufficient to make plating 👍
@@OldThingsNeverDie- Amazing! Thank you for sharing
I think I learned that from Adam Savage on his channel. (The guy from Mythbusters)
Fantastic work! That reminds me of the types games my grandparents would have around for me to play when I was a kid. I love little games like that.
Thanks you very much, i hope to find anothers old games to restore 🙂
So simple yet I can see this becoming as addictive as some online games, and just as competitive as well. New subscriber watching from Texas.
I like your choice of music ("Please don't talk about me when I'm gone"). Good classic song.
Beautiful process and I enjoyed your humor! Great work and thank you for sharing your talents!

Me encantan sus trabajos y con que humor y serenidad los hace. Muy relajante en verdad!!!!!

2 hours well spent! I laughed for a full minute!
Wonderful game. Im thinking about rebuilding one. Might be cool for the kids. Nice job. 👍
Great idea, rebuilding it in giant size would be great 🤗
Nice job, you took an old item and brought to life again.
You’re humorous as well 😃😂😀
Love how you use technology along with some good old elbow grease to restore these for future generations

Merci beaucoup. Effectivement, un peu de musique mais pas trop, l'objet avant tout 😉👍
Right on the nose! Perfect restoration.
I didn't know " right on the nose " expression 😅, in france we say " en plein dans le mille ". Thanks for your comment 👍
Great restoration!

I think you did a wonderful job of restoration, but...
Wouldn't green felt have been better than that green t-shirt?
I guess he figured a t-shirt was a better match for the original al material, it didn’t seem much like felt, just a cotton like material.
@@therestorationofdrwho1865 I think they mostly use baize on this kind of stuff, like the ones used for card tables and pool tables.
I think he used the green shirt because of the iron on logo. I don't think you can do that with felt
That ending was perfect. Great restoration too!
Excellent travail, original, intéressant et drôle.
Merci beaucoup !

Great work bro, that's a cool old game man.
I inspired with your video... And I also restore my old table and stool.... Coloured with gold coating... Thank you sir
Awesome. Looks like a lot of fun.
it's an interesting change of pace to see something get painted so early into a restoration video, but it makes sense for those pieces!
Clever editing at the end. Sensible chuckle.
Nice video and great editing!
Brilliant.
I enjoyed the fantastic restoration, video, and humor. Wonderful! Peace 💫
Tes vidéos sont magnifiques, relaxantes, très bon travail !!!
the french touch, super vidéo et bonne continuation
Good humour. You landed it on the Moon :D
i love the punchy color combination of the dark red, teal, and yellow. reminds me of a sardine can!

lovely work and also the toy!!
What a cool plating technique!
Very nice restoration....there are variations of this in American toys such a baseball. Meilleurs voeux et bonne santé à vous.
yes very satisfying 👍
Nice job! I of course laughed at the appropriate moment.
Cool restoration
Cool game, I've never seen it before.
Great work! Great game!😃👍🛠️🔧
Maybe the best fabric for that application is the one used in a billiard table. Some sort of felt cloth.
😂🤣Ich habe über den "Special-Effect" mit den Griffen sehr gelacht👍
Excellent restoration, with creativity and quick thinking. The t-shirt was a clever substitute, the font used is better than the original, and the demonstration of how to play was very satisfying! Funny ending!

Omg. I think I have played that game too!! 😍 It is not as easy as it looks like. 😄
The French part of me says; MAGNIFIQUE TRAVAIL, MON AMI 🇫🇷😁
This was less of a restoration and more of a complete replacement in my mind. Still, enjoyable.
very interesting application of the ship of theseus dilemma in these restoration videos. at what point does it change from restoration to a different product? how much of the initial piece needs to be retained?
I think the point of restoration is to see what things used to be like when they were new. If some parts don't look like new, it's not a full restoration.
ngl this is the one time I was on board with someone just replacing a large part since cork board is just bad.
I agree. He replaced too much of the original for this to be called a restoration. The thing that infuriated me most was that he didn’t keep the original font for the plates. In the end a nice toy, I guess, but more like a brand new thing than a restored vintage product.
Literally one item was replaced.
Cool game! Good resto.

Nice Job, TIP, to prevent overspray use a transparent paint first, it will seal the sticker
