  • The judge in the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard defamation trial was hearing motions during the lunch break when she poked a little fun at Depp's attorney. An attorney representing TMZ was attempting to keep a former employee from testifying about a leak that Heard would be filing a restraining order against Depp. During arguments Depp's attorney made a comment about TMZ's reputation, which the TMZ attorney referred to as snarky. Later Depp's attorney apologized for the comment and the judge waved it off, saying "you're just a snarky guy," which lead the court to erupt in laughter.

well Amber did say , and they had it on tape , that no one , nor a judge or jury , would believe that a "man" was abused. Of course she thought she was going to win this. I'm so glad that she's on the losing end here. Even if Johnny loses the court case , he's still win overall. Hell have his good name back , and hopefully we'll see him in more movies like Pirates of The Caribbean .

The ladies were the stars of this court drama for all the right AND all the wrong reasons. Judge Penny and Queen Camille have demonstrated intelligence, poise, class and kindness. While Elaine basically tanked her own career and embarrassing herself. I would feel empathy for her if she wasn't representing the most vile woman I've ever seen outside of a psychological thriller like the movie Gone Girl. That brings us to Amber. It's bad enough what she put Johnny Depp through but my loathing I have for her is on behalf of women who have been abused, murdered or disfigured by their life partner. She has basically spit in the faces of real victims and survivors. The same way she stole her former assistant's very personal story of her sexual assault and actually stole that woman's story and used it as if it happened to her. Disgusting. I think she has Munchausen's.

Elaine along with her co-counsel still have their night court career....no need to feel sorry, they've had 15 minutes of fame, they'll just have to live with what they did for a fee (Did AH pay up front, or pledge a fee. Hope it wasn't a case of "We don't get paid until you do" That's not going to work out too well.) Money grabbers more often then not lose at trial. Hence the lawyers creed: "We never lost a case" We'll settle and take our 35% fee since since we're crappy at litigation and ĺose most of all our trials.
