i mean, it's not her lawyer fault that this case is impossible to defend. she get paid by amber heard to be her lawyer. she would take every possible way for her client to win the case. including hiring maybe "biased" witnesses. that's why cross examination is required as bringing biased witness like this is pretty common in court room. i fully blaming amber at this point as her lawyer just do what a lawyers do.

I’m currently studying my master’s in psychology and I’d just like to make this clear: psychologists do not need to be board certified and rarely are. This is a requirement for a psychiatrist, as they are considered doctors. So a psychologist being board certified or not means absolutely nothing in regards to their legitimacy or knowledge.

Yes, it is true. Psychiatrists absolutelty need to be board certicfied as they study MBBS (Medicine) and then do pyschiatry as residents. So they are Physicans (doctors). Whereas, Pyschologist mostly don't need a board certification because one can be pyschologist by studying psychology as bachleor and masters and attain a doctrate (DO NOT need to study MBBS/Medicine).

It wasn't that bad in the beginning just seemed like over acting but at then Vasquez came into play and rattled her. That's when Amber really came out. Then the second time she lost it. She became the "monster". The narcissism showed hard as did the sudden mood shifts. She couldn't hide it because she was focused on the lies. There’s a massive difference between intentionally committing perjury and genuinely forgetting something until a later point. And when lawyers try forcing you into only answering with “Yes” or “No” responses, you don’t always have the luxury of being able to say, “Not that I recall” or something along those lines. I’m impressed with how Dr. Curry has consistently handled herself during this case.

This woman Dr Currie did not impress me at all. Her first answer that she had "no idea" how much she was earning out of this is implausible. She is a professional with a charge out rate and she would know what she charges per hour or per day. In the eyes of the judge she would have come across immediately as evasive. And to then say she "couldn't remember" if she had a drink, and "couldn't remember" if Johnny Depp spoke directly to her, is just as implausible. Depp didn't win the case because of this witness, Amber Heard lost the case with her own behavior in the box.

Tbh, I'm on Amber's lawyer's side for this. That "forensic psychologist" admitted to doing over 200 cases in her short lifespan as a psychologist. Any person doing that many cases isn't actively helping real patients with their mental issues. She makes her money by being paid to render a test and testify in court. She has no real working experience with someone with Borderline. And she only gave Amber this big test and said here, take it. That's what she's basing her exerptise on. Meanwhile, Amber's lawyer pointed out multiple other doctors who actively saw Amber for years and did not state any diagnosis of Borderline, and in fact did note PTSD symptoms. A huge red flag to me is that she does not even use the DSM to diagnose Amber, which is, in truth, the holy grail for psychology and diagnoses. Instead she gave Amber a test one time. The DSM typically requires long hours of constant interaction in order for a pscyh to diagnose someone with Borderline. And then she lied a couple times in her second cross examination. So I don't trust her expertise.

    • @AnonymSwede

@@germanshepherddogs I think she said she gave her multiple tests in her first testimony, one of them being an extremely large test that is computer based. There are some questions in there which are absurd, and according to the data taken from the tests Dr curry did, Amber scored high on all of those questions which even I find unbelievable.
There is no way she scored perfect on all the other questions regarding her mental health, but on PTSD everything was the highest value. You don't get just PTSD, and then everything else is fine, you are broken in every way possible.

Her previous doctors were not making any diagnosis, hence the lack of one. And as Dr. Curry stated, the test given to Amber Heard did not screen for a faking of a claim. They assumed that AH responses were the truth, since typically if one comes to get help, then it's a genuine concern for them.
So in this case they don't even know if she is trying to fake it. Dr.Curry also said that her previous doctor gave her a test list for PTSD, which essentially gives her a lookout for symptoms which she could just memorize and then tick off answers according to what she wants her diagnosis to be.

While the lawyer kept referring to it as "dinner and drinks" as if it was some social event between friends and nothing more.
I wonder what kind of takeout would sway the lawyer to one's side since she seems to assume that's the only possibility here. I've eaten lunch at work with coworkers in the same room before. Would she accuse me of being friends with all them because I "had dinner with them" aka eating food in the presence of another person.

That woman is so keen on “getting the case to the jury” that she won’t let the psychiatrist read the document she’s referencing, yet she spent 10 minutes before interrogating this poor psychiatrist about muffins. It’s a very ugly way to conduct herself.
I feel sort of bad for them though… Amber fabricated so much of her testimony and all of the stuff coming out now is disproving most of what she said. She probably spewed the same lies when talking to her lawyers before the trial. Poor Elaine is probably grasping at straws right now.

They’re attempting to reinforce their points from earlier as well as discredit the evidence against them. They ask a leading question that doesn’t fit with the whole picture, and when the person testifying senses that and explains the full picture they of course are going to cut them off and try to paint it as a time thing. They like any lawyer want to paint a picture, and look for yes or no answers because that will help them paint that picture.

Then when faced with all the evidence that their client has been bold faced lying to them and the public now they’re scrambling. Elaine was here trying to catch Dr. Curry in a lie or trip her up because it’s been so easy for JD’s team to do that exact thing to Amber and the rest of their witnesses. She’s just getting out what she wants to say and doesn’t care if it helps the case at all, at one point she just skips over her own incoherent question when Dr. Curry asks for clarification of what she means because she can’t trap Curry into the answer she wants. Im guessing its bc they want to test whether the psychologist is actually gonna testify the same response consistently the second time around. That's also similar to how Camille breaks amber down, questioning her about the same thing just in different ways in order to make her reveal her lies with inconsistent answers
