Hi Nicky, this is Gaviota State Beach up in Santa Barbara County. It’s a public beach with a campground as well! If you’re visiting for the day, you will need to purchase a day use parking pass, if you would like to camp you can also purchase a camping parking permit c: it’s a very nice beach that can sometimes be very seaweedy so just keep that in mind. I wanted to always fish Gaviota. It looks so inviting. How was the pier fishing, even though I prefer surf fishing. It's great that you include your wife in the video. Keep them coming.
You should definitely check out Gaviota when you get the chance :D there’s a lot of surf areas you can walk around to try to fish. I have noticed that it gets very seaweedy sometimes so I would recommend a weedless setup or maybe a Carolina rig for surf fishing. Unfortunately Doug, Gaviota’s pier was damaged by a storm years ago. They have made plans to make repairs and reopen it but they don’t know when they’re able to or when it will reopen :( I hope you enjoyed Amber’s ramblings 😂 it was a lot of fun having her do a voiceover c: may do a few more here and there in the future :D
@@SvenGoesFishing thanks for the info. I've driven by it many times in the past, and it always looked inviting, plus you don't see many people there, so the fishing pressure must be light.
That is also true, I just realized I usually don’t see a lot of people fishing there when I go, and that’s close to the main entrance area, I bet the fishing is awesome if I spent some time walking down the beach a mile or 2 :D

Amber doing the voiceover was very odd and funny but good job otherwise theres a first time for everything but good video as always sven
