Pa with me
Come fish here in Nebraska
In the bedroom
Southern California!!!
Silverwood lake ca,
That’s the beauty of a raw and uncut video. No edits needed. Straight fishing content. I love it.
You’re the king of uncut vids 🎣😂
That’s cus I’m not creative enough to edit anything.. is that where you got the idea from? Please tell me I inspired you. That would be awesome.
Never watched a Googan video almost 2 hours. So I guess I enjoy the shit out of your hard work and learning everything I can about bank fishing 🦦🎣 thanks for your effort.
I think this video is great. Too many of us see 5-6 catches within 5 mins from a youtuber and then get discouraged when we can't do that irl. This is the reality of fishing. Uncut. It takes patience and time.
^^ facts 🎣👍
Great video, love the "reel life" content. 🎣FISH ON!🎣 👍❤️😊
Being newer to fishing I’m always grateful whenever you drop knowledge. Thank you for taking the time to share your thought process it helps my fishing immensely. I’m 6 mins into the vid where you’re apologizing for talking and I’m just sitting here locked in 🤣🤣 Appreciate your work as always bro
My pleasure! Thanks for supporting my content, I appreciate that! 👊
this man has helped me catch so many more fish. love you mike! thanks a lot !
Happy to help! 🎣👊
Whether you’re catching them or not I love to hear your thought process it helps me fish better! Love this style of video would definitely watch more of this and I watched it from the start
Glad you enjoyed! I’ll def post some more uncut vids at different bodies of water 🎣👍
It’s a very enjoyable experience to watch you asses your surrounding and adapt. Its a perfect combination between fishing tips, relaxation, and CLASSIC 1 rod.
Appreciate the feedback, more of these to come!! 🎣👊
As fellow bank fishermen I can 100% agree this is how some days are like
“Nah this ain’t it, NOPE worth a shot. I’m going back to the bug.” just had me cracking you can just tell you’ve had enough 😂😂. Great video Mike!👍
So crazy bro..I read this comment right as Mike said it 😂👍
I like this "train of thought" uncut format. This would be an excellent series. It's cool to see the process. I think aloud a lot too. A lot of my fishing adventures look a lot like this, where it's a skunkfest at first, then I usually throw an ultra light and go for pan fish so I can at least get something.
That's my usual as well. I fish in one pond mostly. Overpopulated with small bass and fish are HARD to catch without live bait. My ultra lite is what keeps me sane!
I'm so grateful for your videos. I've been learning a lot between your videos and LOJO videos so I wanted to say ty
Glad you like them! Thx for watching my guy 👊
Answering all comments!?! I'm a huge fan! Your the only fishing channel I watch
I appreciate that! Answering as many comments as I can 👊
@@1Rod1ReelFishing that's very very fishtastic
lets be honest u have the best fishing vids and i love watching them everyday
I appreciate you!
I enjoyed this one and watched till the very last second. This style of vid is nice to have run in the background while your doing work at home, especially with the ambient sounds.
Glad you enjoyed it! More to come in the future 🎣👊
Always love the content, the fact I sat through 2 hours of uncut fishing probably indicates
that though 😂 love the vids man keep it up I’ll always be watchin 🤙🏻😎
You a true one my guy 👊
You might just be my favorite fishing UA-camr, I’ve been watching you for as long as I can remember. Keep it up 1rod
He’ll yeah 1rod we need more longer videos like this one bro I can’t stop watching ! Keep them coming “never stop” Jon b quote lol
I was glad to see even the best fisherman doesn't always catch fish. If you are interested, by me there are multiple ponds and I've only caught 1 bass about 12 inches out of each once. I've been fishing these ponds at least once a week if not twice for about 45 mins to an hour and get skunked.
This was one of my favorites but I will NEVER forget the rage monster 😭
LOLLLLLL, we don’t talk about that one bro 🤐😂
Been on ur channel for almost 2 years n all the videos are still exciting to watch💯
I appreciate that 🎣👍
yo i love your vids it teaches me a lot about new lures and jigs helps me discover new things❤
Glad you like them! 👊
This video is so helpful for me. I am a 13 y/o and im trying to figure out a good strategy before putting a line in the water. Watching your process really helped me. I also struggle with impatiance when it comes to a fish biting. If i dont get a bite in an hour, I usally get discouraged because I feel as if there are no fish even in the pond. But thank you for your video, it really helps.
Glad it was helpful! Don’t get discouraged if you don’t get bit right away, real fishing takes A LOT of patience 90% of the time 🎣
I watched the entire session, not disappointed in one bit. We have all had these days. Thanks for showing the real side of fresh water fishing
Awesome video bro! You inspired me to go adventure on new places, fishing with only a backpack and rod n reel🤩 Tight lines mate💪
That’s the way to do it! Glad I could inspire you, best of luck on your 🎣 adventures 👊
you scratch our backs, we scratch yours 🤞 The loyalty you have towards your fans is 💯 keep that shi up brother
Gotchu 👊
I love the videos i will always watch your videos no matter how long they are❤❤❤❤
LOVE THIS STYLE OF VIDEOS I WANNA SEE MORE
Not that big into fishing anymore but I still always look forward to you uploading, keep it up
This vid was great. Loved to hear your process. Learned alot.
Glad it was helpful! 👍
FANTASTIC WORK MATE VERY WELL DONE IAM WATCHING FROM AUSTRALIA TIGHT LINES EVERYONE 👍 👌
I just finished watching the whole thing. Even though you only caught 1, you still manage to make it entertaining. Love your videos 1rod
I appreciate that! Hopefully I do better in my next uncut vid 🎣😅
I love these uncut videos 👍 def hoping for more
Watching this, it gave me flashbacks to my last outing at the pond. Glad you made this video. Sometimes I go two or three hours without a bite and I've tried everything in my bag lol
Happens to the best of us 🎣😅
Mike just walk-jogging the bridge😂
Didn’t want to waste any time 🎣😅
You have inspired me to keep fishing and taught me a lot keep the content coming
Love this kinda stuff… raw uncut and fresh… keep your cool 1Rod .. make it to Wisconsin and come check out the st. Croix river
i liked it watched it all thats real fishing no cuts or anything its not a fish every 5 seconds loved it 1r
Thanks for the feedback, I’ll def do more uncut vids in the summer! 🎣
Love the uncut vids definitely need more 👍👍👍
More to come! 👊
love these videos my man keep up the good work
You know you're pro with no cuts. That's hard to do. Thanks Mike ❤
I feel you on this one. I was fishing in SC a few weeks ago and throwing a swimbait in hot muddy water for 2 hours with nothing. Switched to a creature bait and lost 3 bass in my last 10 min.
Keep them coming it’s cool to see how someone else will break down a body of water
Haha love it just found and sub too you’re channel again after 7 years of not fishing and what are the odds you are fishing that pond I remember that’s the only pond you used to fish pretty much.
No way! That’s a crazy coincidence, thanks for stopping by again!! Slay some mondos this summer for me 🎣👊
believe it or not, this is the type of videos i've been looking for. I know you gotta worry about algorithm and whatever get's the most views or whatever, but I want to watch someone and their process of how they catch a fish. That means the countless casts, the travelling to different angles of a pond or lake, etc. I get to see in detail how you fish a bait and your plan on how to approach a certain spot. Great Video do more of these if you can.
I learned alot from this video. Thank you.
I appreciate the thoughtful comment, I promise I’ll do more of these vids at different types of waters this year 🎣👊
Great video Mike. Can't wait to see more like this m watched every second. Keep up the great fishing. Hope you catch loads more on the next video
I hope so too! 😅
@@1Rod1ReelFishing can't believe you still got that bass pro shops lure sock for your buzzbaits from all those years ago. Can't wait for more Mike. Keep up the great content
Nice I like these style of videos especially from experience anglers like you because I can see what you’re thinking when you try to find fish
I like this video because it’s no editing a real day of fishing uncut🎉
TOUGH conditions, and an honest video.
Appreciate the comment!
Loved the video. I'd really like to see you wading the river doing one of these fishing for smallies. I was really relaxing and enjoyable to watch. Thank you for sharing.
Def gonna try this in the river in the future! 🎣👍
Love the uncut videos! And I watched the whole thing
I appreciate that, more to come!! (At better locations 🎣👍)
59 mins in I watch videos all the way thru I like videos like this that are not just always catching fish after fish make more like this please
Will do, thanks for the feedback!
This is a very good video 👍🔥💯 we need more uncut 💯
1rod should do a raw and uncut video on the Potomac river love your vid btw
Just sat with you for 2hrs because it just felt nostalgic.. tight lines
I appreciate the support!! 🙏🙏
Love your videos keep it up
Mike I actually watched from start to finish. Glad you stuck with it pal. Would like to see you around Norris Lake in Tennessee.
I appreciate that!! I’ll see if i can make it over 🎣
Good to know you can do unedited days of fishing.
I can NOT believe you didn't cuss this whole time. Either you got some discipline or I am a bad influence when we fish together 🤣🤣🤣
Actually I bleeped out two 💩’s when I sunk into that foul mud 😳😳
@@1Rod1ReelFishinglolz, could've sworn that was me saying 💩 in my own mind there
Subscribed! Tight lines brother! Will be watching and learning. Always learning. Thanks
Thanks for the sub! Plenty of bangers to come this year 🔥🔥🎣😎
Carrying a tackle shop to your local pond? I guess you can never be too prepared haha 👍
You got that right! 🎣😂👍
Really loved this kind of video. Watched every minute🎣
More to come in the future!
Holy bajeezo....shoulda started straight away with a black/blue dito bug. The bandit burrito is literally my #1 bait by far I have every single color no joke in both the original and the JR. those legs when it's swimming triggers so many strikes. Just need to keep away from gills or they'll steal one of the big claws
The bug is the drug! 🎣😎
That spot is so pressured. I hit it up about a month ago. Lost a glide and chatter bait standing on top of that pipe. I think there is a wire my hooks snagged too. Kids were snagging bluegills off the gazebo thing. That’s fishing for sure 😂
You need more of these videos , great content 🙌🏼
More to come! 👍
New “one v one” go out and get one in less than a hour and half!! 😂 we coming for you Mike!!! More of these vids PLEASE!! Been watching since day one!!! BIG FAN!!
Bet 🎣👊
Might take me a few days to watch all of this but i will.
Best Video so far! Keep going 🎉
😊 yooo!!! 1 rod I like all your content. But this one was a hard grinding one. I almost didn't think 🤔 you were not gonna catch one. But you won't stop until you get one. I call that commitment!!. 👍 Keep grinding my man.
I appreciate that, NEVER GIVE UPPPPP!! 🎣👊
Talk about some dedication LOL just found your channel its fucking amazing and now my favorite.
Ayyyy appreciate the support my guy!! Stick around for some crazy fishing adventures this summer 🎣😎👊
great video keep up the awesome work 🎣
You should fish for some more pike. I loved that one you caught in the low reservoir video
Great video i love it keep grinding and keeping it real💯💙
Awsome video, just showing us how its done even if its good or bad fishing quality at a place.Keep up the good work
Gotta keep it real sometimes and show the struggles 🎣👊
Cold fronts aren’t always bad though sometimes bass go on a frenzy from a cold front and cold and muddy waters isn’t bad early spring because that water is gonna be the warmest for fish
Hey. A question; you get GREAT casting distance with all the combos you fish with. What is your favorite rod/reel pair up for distance (higher price and also a moderate price if you could please include that.) Thanks for taking us along on your fishing trips, great commentary and challenges (I was amazed the modified viewer duck lure did well.) Great fishing to you!
So here’s the formula
1. Heavy aerodynamic lure (like think a one ounce lead weight)
2. Looooong rod 7’3” to 7’6”
3. Baitcasting reel with A LOT of line capacity, and fill Er up with 20 Lb or 30 Lb braid
You’ll be casting close to 100 yards 😂😂
@@1Rod1ReelFishing Thanks very much!
When you said I hope nobody been watching from the beginning I was like i enjoyed watching from the beginning bc I was able to learn how to like tie a lure on bc i didn't know how bc I'm a kid still
Love ur content man❤
Appreciate the support my guy! 👊
You should have used a caffeine shad or a 2.8 saucy swimmer bro. I fish a pond just like yours. About 4 ft. deep with tons of grass and very muddy. If they’re not biting the caffeine shad they’re biting the saucy. I can usually catch about 4-6 fish every hour :) Still enjoyed the “thought process” when you’re picking baits:) Keep up the good work!
I’m never this early to a video and this wasn’t even early lol. Some of yal are here at “Posted 0s ago” 😂🤣 I want to be you guys so bad lol
Turn on notifications my guy 😎👊
I'm ENJOYING this!!😉👊💯
Appreciate It bro! 🎣👊
@@1Rod1ReelFishing yessir my fishin freak!🎣💯👊
I love all of your videos your so inspiring
Appreciate the comment!
I live in WI so a 3 pond bass is a big bass up here, last weekend I went camping up north I caught my PB on the bandito bug Texas rigged. It was a skinny 4 but if it had eggs in it it would have made 5 all day. I had over 30 fish on the the bandito bug that weekend. But I think the bandito bug is one of the best googan soft plastics to get!
Nice work! The bug is the drug! 🎣😎
never give up until you really catch a fish
9:24 ayo 1Rod what 💀
Did I stutter 😏
Thanks so much for your videos, I especially like the way you talk about that what you’re thinking and doing. Can I ask what type of boots you are wearing?
Thanks for the feedback!! Just some “muck boots” I got for ice fishing like 5 years ago 👍
"I use Seaguar Red Label because it's TRASH!". Best plug every!! LOL
🎣🤣
hey 1rod , i was fishinf in the middle of a severe thunder storm at 9:30ish in the morning on sunday march 26th decided to cast out the googan sqaud micro zinger white spinnerbait once i convinced myself last cast time to go inside i caught a 2 pound largemouth bass , ran like hell inside showes my mom , i was on the verge of tears she asked why to which i replied cause this is my 1st largemouth on my 1st baitcaster on the spinner bait this year , i not only call thw googan squad micro zinger ole fateful/faithful but i swear the googan squad micro zinger spinner bait saved my life that day
Crazy story!! Glad the micro zinger came in clutch for you in that storm! 🎣😬
@@1Rod1ReelFishing yes sir , you and the boys over at googan squad saved a life
1 rod 1 reel # bring your Dad back
We’re fishing next week!! 👊
best pond ever
Jordan and I stopped by there one day on the way home and caught a bass on my first cast black and blue blazin worm not a bad pond
This spot reminds me of gunners lake here in Germantown Maryland I just bought my rod and reel and I’ve been trying every kind of lure for gunners lake and nothing. Lures are limited cause of so much hydrilla I’ve only caught one bass there but supposedly it holds some Mondos
I’ve had some great days at gunners!! ua-cam.com/video/mFHT0EHHWQE/v-deo.html
You should come to Florida and fish with me and my kids at a pond we go to a lot we have been watching you for years!.
I noticed that fishing the same place teaches me a lot about what to use when. Like for example I fish a pond by my work alot and I basically always take a Texas rigged bandito bug but I noticed that on windy days it doesn’t work at all I know the fish are there they just aren’t interested so I’ve learned to break out a spinner bait if it’s windy and not throw the Texas rig as much and so on and then I just take that knowledge to other bodies of water
What is the best size spinning rod for bass fishing and the best height rod ? And I loved this type of video!
If you like lighter rigs, 6’9” medium/fast, if you throw heavier baits on ur spinning gear go with a 7’0” MH/fast
already knew this video was going to be a banger 🤙
Rad vid 👍👍👍👍👍 how about a 2 hour creek/ river fishing vid?
Definitely in the cards! 👍
I’m my humble opinion, uncut fishing vids are much better than cut fishing vids. You don’t have to pay complete attention to the video, so you can play it while doing something else. Please do more
Will def do more in the future! 🎣👍
Great video, had to fast forward through a lot but this is the reality of fishing…I guess we only see fishing videos when cast after cast people are reeling them in…which isn’t the reality…I’m relatively a beginner catching bass and pike but I typically find myself averaging a fish every hour now Which is significantly better than a 2 and 3 years ago.
Thanks for showing the reality of fishing even coming from a great fisherman like yourself!!!
Massive improvement from when you started!! Keep up the good work on the water 🎣👊
1:34:45 First catch for the people who have lives.
Not all hero’s wear capes
Loved it lots of info 👍🏻
Glad it was helpful!
hello, jeffrey rayborn here from wausau , wisconsin. can i ask what back pack your using? i need to find a way to pair down my gear. LOL its hell having to haul 5 or more tackle boxes of baits. i can drop one tackle box by not going for pike and musky, but my cranks, worms(plastics) and tackle for them mean a minimum of 2 to 3 tackle boxes.
then other things like leaders, and prerigged stuff plus tools is the rest of my useable tackle .
if i forget big fish and panfish then i'm down to 4 maybe 5 tackleboxes,(ROFL) always takes me 2 or more trips to get my gear to the shore of the river or lake or pond when i decide to stay in a spot.
i sometimes use my canoe(15' green coleman canoe) but if theres wind - no way.
and even the small bass pond i used to fish is a lot of paddling if there is any wind. that pond is maybe 1/4 mile long and half as wide. maybe 30 ft in the center and weeds everywhere, lily pads can be extensive and thick late in the year. and it is in a swamp so bogs ring the whole of the lake. meaning every cast needs to be at the edge of the water. because the bass hide under the bogs. supposedly the panfish in the pond/lake is good, but i have never been able to find them, except with flyrod and panfish poppers one year.but it was a fight getting decent fish because most were 5 inch or less bluegills that day. fun, but not big enough for me to consider cleaning the allowed 25 fish(bluegills)
would love to see you do a video of what all you have in that backpack, and give me an idea of how to scale down my gear when fishing.
LOL
i end up having 5 or more rods every time i go fishing. and terminal tackle to cover everything from panfish to walleyes, with one or 2 baits for pike.
i usually have 3 medium rods, 1 light or ultralight, and 1 medium/hvy to hvy rod.
if i go to my favorite place (river) i have the 3 mediums set up for tri swivel rigged baitfishing with floating jigheads. (less snaggs) and that place usually means minnows and crawlers.
meaning a bait pail is added to the things i have to carry.
sorry this got so long.
basically how do i pair down gear to make it manageable to carry like you.
love your vids!
jeffrey rayborn

I’m using my old school backpack (high Sierra swerve backpack). Organization is definitely the most important thing before hitting the water!! Try scaling down and keeping your backpack weight to 20 lbs or less, especially if you have to hike around a lot! Best of luck this season my friend 🎣👊
