Becky here - I just use the Berkey system….we fill it up daily. Between two adults, two dogs and a cat, plus we are coffee and tea drinkers, we sometimes go through more. I am the same I have the Big Berkey and use it for all water I consume or cook with. I also use it for my Parrot. two indoor cats and about 15 feral cats.
Thank you Mr. Tom, for informing us that there is a quality report available from our water department. Should have known, just didn't think about it. But I will be looking into this matter. I have the Pur faucet system, but I believe I like yours better because you can see what filtered out. Pur has, or at least mine has a plastic cover around it that you can't see through. You are so full of useful knowledge, be it in the garden, in the yard or in the kitchen...and with the cats. Mr. Tom I had 4 female cats that came up from who knows where and they each have had kittens in the past 6 weeks. I guess they think that my garage/barn is a home for unwed mothers. Lord have mercy. But, I'll do what I can to find them homes or at least get them fixed. They are ferral for the most part but since I feed them they will let me pet them. Mr. Tom, please take care of yourself. I chose the Alexapure because its made in USA and has good specifications. Stay safe and I pray the Lord will take care of you as you go through your procedures. Tom
Hi. I've known 3 men who had prostate cancer. All three had different treatments. 2 have since passed. One was my grandpa. Neither passed from the prostate cancer. 1 is 80 something and doing great. I'm sure whatever treatment diet or whatever else you decide to do to fight this will work for you. I enjoy listening to you. Whatever your talking about. Garden. Groceries at the store. When water is so important, clean water has always been so important to me, then I just thought oh screw it! I think your video just knocked me in the head! Hahaha
We have a deep well and also we are hooked up to city water. The well works great until a hurricane comes through and the power is out for days so we keep our city water but don't have it hooked to the house at this time. Down here on the coast, hurricanes are a real problem. The eye of Frederic, Issac and Sally came over our house.. Our well is in the same stream the the city is using for the city water so we're pretty good. We have a Berky too but they have gone out of business. You can still buy after market filters to fit the Berky. After watching this video, I'm ordering some extra filters for our Berky.
Hi Mr. Tom! The mobile home park we live in has a stream fed water system. Unfortunately because of illegal Marijuana grows up in the hills nearby there is a huge concern for the chemicals that end up in the streams. The park has installed a state-of-the-art water filtration system but we still filter our drinking water here at home with a Brita pitcher. Thank you for all the information you shared today!
The report looks good to me. I'd drink that water out of the tap. Back in my working days collecting those sample was just one of things I did. Collect them and send them into the state certified lab. Lots of interesting stories over the years, well interesting maybe to those in the field. One time a small town's water supply showed an increase to 40-45 in nitrates, we got it nailed down to the water tower and it turned out the access door on top was open and birds had been roosting in the tower. Plumb is Latin for lead, thus "plumbers" since many of the old pipes were made of lead.

Hi Mr Tom, in my little part of NZ the water is OK so we drink from the tap, i have a filter on my fridge for chilled water as it comes with the fridge, we change that every 12mnths and its pretty clean. This is not the case for all of NZ however. Nitrates can be a problem in the areas where people have wells. It recommended they test 6 monthly. That is very informative , I think our grandparents would be amazed by all of this. Take care Mr Tom, I think you made a good choice with the on tap filter, convenient and economical and gets the job done. If i ever need it thatll be way I'd go. We've had a Berkey now for almost 20 years. At the moment we can't get filters anymore for it, so we bought and installed a Waterdrop Reverse Osmosis system this past weekend. Very informative video. Keeping you in prayer!! I use the filter pitcher, boil the water, then store for drinking in fridge. Pets get the filtered too. Also, have Smart Water for hiking, traveling, and emergency situations - (buy when on sale and from Costco) … my area has good municipal water however, from the testing point to my faucet to my glass alot can happen to it. What is it picking up along the way and hanging out in the pipes?!! 🤔

Not to say I never have, cause for many years I did, without no filter. Still got no filter for the kitchen tap. But I buy packs a bottled water. Yep, I know what all folks would say about that. Years ago, when I was growin up, like most us kids, when it was hot outside in the summer, I would drink water from the garden hose connected to the outdoor water spigot. Well, some years back, there was talk here in the local paper about possible widespread contamination in the soil because there was a smelter here long time ago, and they was talkin bout the soil bein contaminated here, and tellin folks maybe they shouldn't be growin any vegetable gardens and such. Well, it be a little late to be warnin folks now.🙄 But at this late date, as old as I am, I ain't too worried bout my water now. But I still like your video Mr. Tom, and find it interestin. I was just picking blueberrys and thinking about how you are doing. Ill be making blueberry jelly tommorow i hope. My water smells awful. Its a well but held in a tank somewhere. It has so much bleach in it that my hair looks like straw sometimes. Other times its pure gross. I have a norwex pitcher and a filter on the fridge. I just dont trust it much unless i boil it. Hey MrTom I’ve the BRITA FILTER on my faucet and the pitcher in my fridge, but when using the faucet I only use the filter when I’m cooking or drinking water. I have an Alexapure for emergency and Christmas 2022 I gave my 4 kids and my adult grandkids each a Zero Water pitcher. I got one for myself too. My city water smells like chlorine.
Hello Mr. Tom! I still have to see your diagnosis video! My daughter did and told me about it! I guess prayers helped somewhat. I want to tell you that Rudy Biliary had the following treatment for his prostate cancer.: hormone therapy, radiation seed therapy (inside radiation), also external radiation. My concern is the fact that Drs. today are giving the elderly light treatments instead of the right one to kill the cancer. Please do you research. I know this because a relative if mine has bladder cancer, got radiation and chemo various times and was just told that she needs more! She is 78. We feel she is not getting the proper strength of the treatments. I do not want that to happen to you. I will keep praying that that 10% becomes 0%! God bless you and the kitty Kats too.

Mr Tom really needs to get something like a Berkey...once the water stops flowing from the tap in the future (that is quite possible in todays climate)...then you have something that will filter even river or puddle water. We have a whole house filter...and still use a Berkey and have for over 20 years. We have an electric water distiller too...have saved enough over the years to pay for them...many times over...by not having to purchased water in plastic bottles...that come with their own issues.
Hey Mr Tom our water company sends us data and so - far looking good we get out water from Lake Michagan very good water but I use the Pur Plus System just to make sure I drink alot of water and its good for you Stay Safe Take Care !!!

You have me curious i live in the city have city water,live about 8 blocks from the treatment plant and 12 blocks from the river. Im going to get mine tested.
Seems like big cities would have the worst water. Flint, Michigan water has been real bad for 20 years? Home Depot had free water tests awhile ago. Nothing free anymore.
Kind of convicts me. Rod, an old, older friend (from 80's) on road told me, 'Drink water instead of Beer'. I enjoy the gas of it. ANYWAY!!! We have a local Spring, I've used it since the 80's. I use it for coffee and drinking water. Well water here, while potable tastes like Iron crap.

I know here in Albertville the city has PFAS in our water the city has got a lawsuit filed against 3M ETC. for contamination of our water.A large amount of people have cancer and have gotten cancer but alot of people can't afford the expensive reverse osmosis to remove the PFAS. Most people don't even know about it and drink from the facets.
We don't drink water out of the faucet It has been found to have chemicals from fire fighting foam due to the Air Force base. I refill 5 gallon bottles from the grocery store supposedly filtered 4 times. We are renting so not a permanent thing.

My concern is the fact that Drs. today are giving the elderly light treatments instead of the right one to kill the cancer. Please do you research. I know this because a relative if mine has bladder cancer, got radiation and chemo various times and was just told that she needs more! She is 78. We feel she is not getting the proper strength of the treatments. I do not want that to happen to you. I will keep praying that that 10% becomes 0%! God bless you and the kitty Kats too.

Mr Tom really needs to get something like a Berkey...once the water stops flowing from the tap in the future (that is quite possible in todays climate)...then you have something that will filter even river or puddle water. We have a whole house filter...and still use a Berkey and have for over 20 years. We have an electric water distiller too...have saved enough over the years to pay for them...many times over...by not having to purchased water in plastic bottles...that come with their own issues.
Mine has worked just fine and I have had it over a year.
I dont filter my water I just boil it b4 I drink it....and let it sit in the refer for 12 hours b4 I drink it

Hello from Edgewood Maryland USA Albert Cooper. I love kitty krew. My water is awful. I got to food they a water pure water. Reverse osmosis. It goes through charcoal fillers. I go to New Oxford Pennsylvania we get spring water from the mountain.
You have me curious i live in the city have city water,live about 8 blocks from the treatment plant and 12 blocks from the river. Im going to get mine tested.
Seems like big cities would have the worst water. Flint, Michigan water has been real bad for 20 years? Home Depot had free water tests awhile ago. Nothing free anymore.

I know here in Albertville the city has PFAS in our water the city has got a lawsuit filed against 3M ETC. for contamination of our water.A large amount of people have cancer and have gotten cancer but alot of people can't afford the expensive reverse osmosis to remove the PFAS. Most people don't even know about it and drink from the facets.

We don't drink water out of the faucet It has been found to have chemicals from fire fighting foam due to the Air Force base. I refill 5 gallon bottles from the grocery store supposedly filtered 4 times. We are renting so not a permanent thing.
