Not really. In the story, he realised the fabric of the Universe was flawed. The only way to restore the Universe was to drain all his power and effectively "give" the power back to TOAA. There's a scene in the comic where he talks to Eternity and explains how he, and all the other cosmic entities, are nothing but foolish pawns and that he, Thanos, with all this power was still just a pawn of TOAA who'd used him to do his bidding.
His older self has proven himself to be a universal level reality warper that can kill Galactus with the greatest of ease. This is just his own power at that point mind you. That is his power basically, that he will achieve godly levels of power as time goes by.

@@thebeyonder4138 also most of the weapons on the list are just like the astral regulator, but weaker, there not based on blades, blast, or objects made to kill, just powerful objects that can be dangerous.
Top 5 Strongest Marvel Weapons : 1. The Astral Regulator, 2. The Heart Of The Universe, 3. The Ultimate Nullifer, 4. The Cosmic Cube, 5. The Infinity Gauntlet
I'm just thinking when they were making the Casket of Ancient Winters. "Hey we gotta make this thing sound really badass and scary, what are we gonna use to scale how cold this is?" "A thousand Canadian winters." "C-Canada? Not somewhere colder like Antarctica, or Pluto, or the 9th Circle of Hell?" "c a n a d a"
Imagine how powerful the staff of one would be if deadpool used it or a celestial with the amount of blood they can give and at the rates they can give it
Also a note: remember, with a cosmic cube, a user can quite literally just absorb the energy from the cube, becoming essentially an all father or greater instantly (depending on the cube, cause they are all different in power)
Note: the destroyer quite literally can be the strongest here, it depends on the user. With current king Thor, it’s much stronger than when Odin used it, even when Odin merged ALL of Asgard and himself with it (besides Thor). Current destroyer should be above the necrosword.
You missed the Astral Regulator. It literally made Thanos Outerversal and allowed him to absorb The One Above All after he literally absorbed all other cosmic entities like the Living Tribunal and Multiversal Eternity. To this day, it’s the most powerful Thanos has ever been and probably might ever be.
Thanos didn't absorb TOAA though, that was All Above Others, a part of TOAA. And the reason why they didn't include the AR was due to the fact that the series that it appeared in wasn't canon, thus making the AR unqualified in this list
I’ve always had an idea in the back of my mind since I saw the yaka arrow. One of the strongest materials you could possibly make would be an alloy of vibranium, yaka, and uru. Uru for its magical enchanting abilities and both vibranium and yaka would work together perfectly. Yaka is a sound sensitive metal that is basically able to amplify vibration and turn it into kinetic energy. Vibranium is a metal that can absorb and redirect vibration. Those two metals together with uru added in to enchant it for even more vibration and energy based abilities would be insane. It would not only be able to absorb vibration and energy, it would be able to amplify it. Imagine wearing a suit made of it, or having a vision like body made of it. You could be hit with a world breaker hulk level punch, and just absorb every bit of the energy, and use it to punch him multiple times harder. You’d be able to take an infinity gauntlet blast with all the stones and then send a blast back that would shatter all of them. My idea for the most op character would be a body like that but made using a super alien technology upgraded version of the framework from agents of shield. Using the framework you could basically study and collect the powers of every single super powered being in the multiverse and then find a way to put them all, or at least the most useful ones inside the body. Upload the entire darkhold and all the texts of the sorcerer supreme and other alien magical groups. Say someone tries to cut you off from magic. Instal those crazy laser gloves that they used in agents of shield that let the robot Ada basically use magic with lasers. Upgraded with crazy alien technology of course. So basically you’re left with this body made out of yaka, vibranium, and uru that is enchanted to the brim, based off a hybrid of all the anatomies of the most powerful beings in existence, capable of using basically every power known, with the complete knowledge of magic and the freaking darkhold uploaded into its brain. Transfer your consciousness into the body and bam. You’ve basically become someone on god king dooms level. Go find a group of beyonders and egg them on to attack you with their most powerful attack. Convert it into 10000x more energy, destroy them, and keep the rest.
Naaaah. The idea sounds good but at the same time, boring. You're basically either creating an Immortal (or invincible) being, and where's the fun in that? Or creating a being that can be beaten by reality shaping or some sort of that kind of things (which is basically, being beaten for the sake of the plot).
The all black Necrosword is my favourite weapon of all time.... it carries an eerie vibe to it ... plus the sexy design and the wielders of it are also great characters of MCU - Knull, Gorr, Venom...
I would like to think that "Professor X's cerebro" would be one of the most powerful weapons in existence in the wrong hands..when you think about it, Thanos really ain't s***..he always has one of these overpowered weapons and that's usually the only time he reeks Havoc..
😊 My ranking of the 20 most powerful weapons 1- Heart of the Universe: Infinite powers that make the character second after One Above First. 2- The Infinity Gauntlet: It grants complete control over the Infinity Stones, controls and manipulates everything in one world, fulfills any desire, and controls the world. 3- The ultimate nullfair: Capable of eliminating anything and anyone, across multiple worlds and timelines. He rewrites everything and reality. 4- The Cosmic Cube: It fulfills any desire and any idea, rewrites reality, and changes the history of any thing or person. 5- Iron Man’s armor: He has cosmic armor that kills Celestius and defeats Galactus and Dormammu.
In the end I think thanos is a good guy at it heart but he doesn't know it, to send everything back to normal and sacrificing himself only a good guy does that.

So there are a lot of errors throughout this list. When describing the necrosword being destroyed by the God of Light, not correct. It was the UniPower mixed with the Power Cosmic and Mjolnir all imbuing Venom with extreme power to defeat Knull, and he was not described as a God of any kind until after he took over Knulls role over the symbiotes. When describing the Infinity Gems you used the colors of the MCU, not the original comic colors despite describing the feats of Thanos gathering them as they first appeared (though due to the popularity of the MCU they have been retconned in both scale of power, color, shape, and name). In recent years it isn't the Gem of Cytorrak that powers Juggernaut, but the Bands of Cytorrak and they are actually vastly superior to the Gem, at least as described in the recent Juggernaut story. Also Thanos did not use the Heart of the Universe with evil intent, he was actually trying to save the universe and after gaining the power saw there was an imbalance causing reality itself to be torn apart and he sought to correct it. Because he was Thanos the heroes and cosmic entities decided to attack him and the power caused him to lose control of his mental faculties which lead to him absorbing all of reality by mistake.
