Yeah. That was another thing I always wondered about Laura (X23). If she had adamantium implanted as a little girl, how would she be able to grow to adulthood?
You failed to mention Cage's breakout from prison and, years later, his subsequent re-powering at the hands of his arch-rival Bushmaster 1 and his son Bushmaster 2. This re-powering made him even more invulnerable and robust, including his jacket (becoming invulnerable)-resulting in him becoming more powerful than any other test subject (him included) had ever been before, making him genuinely superhuman. Still, he has a weakness to electricity (ionizing radiation) which was a crucial component in the Power Man process. Although he can concentrate and become resistant to electricity over time, it is still excruciating, more so than any other trauma he has experienced. His abilities before the Power Man process were already formable. He possessed Olympic-level strength and near-peak human reflexes. After the procedure, he gained low-tier enhanced human strength and actual peak human reflexes, so much so that he could (with some effort) beat his best friend Danny Rand [Iron Fist] on more than one occasion. The Power Man process has been the most overlooked, prosperous, and openly sought-after success story in the Weapon Plus program. Unlike other test subjects and experiments, the operation succeeded where others were too costly, unpredictable, and uncontrollable. After his exposure to the 1st and 2nd process, Cage not only retained his mental faculties but may be capable of further enhancements. This, coupled with his ability to successfully procreate 'normal' but potentially powerful offspring without outside interference-not to mention the process's ability to transform inanimate objects (like Cages' jacket) into near-invulnerable objects make it the most burgeoning and economically viable result in the Weapon Plus program, to date. One aspect of the Power Man re-powering storyline has never been addressed. The Over Power or Powering Out that resulted in the eventual deaths of the 'successful' test subjects. This 2nd iteration of the Power Man process wasn't as successful as the first, although one can say the first was an accident. In the experiment's 2nd phase, test subjects were exposed to the Power Man process and gained superhuman strength and durability, slightly higher than Cage's abilities at the time. Still, in doing so, these subjects would eventually experience a total cellular breakdown if they regularly used their abilities to their utmost. It wasn't within their power to stop using their newfound enhanced human skills even if they tried because the process acted like a virus, slowly and radically destroying their body's tissues at a cellular level. In the throws of this powering down, their bodies temporarily gained even more durability and strength to near supernatural levels. But when this happened, they also lost the ability to process sensory stimuli and form cognitive thoughts. In other words, they became drunk with 'power', and their bodies literally and figuratively began to disintegrate into a greenish crystalline powder. These painful and horrific deaths could not be delayed or cured. It has been speculated since the Cage Comic Series run that Luke may either succumb to the same powering down that affected the test subjects in the 2nd iteration of the Power Man process, or he may have the ability (whether he's aware of it or not) to cause the same powering down (and disintegration) he witnessed so many years before. If he could consciously inflict the powering down process, he could potentially "power out" any living being or inanimate object. But it should be noted that if he has this ability [curse] lying dormant within his cells and can't stop the process from harming others, he could unwittingly harm his friends and family. If that doesn't give you pause, what if his offspring possess the powering-down ability? Such 'power' in the hands of a toddler or an immature child would be akin to giving a baby a grenade. A nuclear grenade!!! What if this power could destroy cabonadium, anti-metal [Savage Land vibranium], Wakandan vibramium, and adamantium?! Only time will tell... But as we have seen in previous issues, Mr. Sinister may have other plans because he has been 'watching'.
this is the only time I've seen anyone mention Brute Force. the original Brute Force had tech closer to Cybertronians as they had altmodes that could transform into a Vehicle mode.

I believe missed a few characters. Wild child being my favorite. There was also no mention of the weapon X program started out in Canada. Old cannon characters seemed to be left off this list.
I always thought Sabertooth never got the adimantium because be doesn't need it. His bones heal so fast a bone could shatter to splinters and heal 100% before he could say owe.
In the old school comics, one of the reasons Sabertooth hated Wolverine was because he went berserk and destroyed the Weapon X facility which prevented Sabertooth from getting the adamantium skeleton just like him. He felt screwed over that they made Wolverine more powerful than him when they could of been equals.
"Weapon X" is Wolverine/Logan/James Howlett, meaning he was X-10, or weapon number 10. Not the name of the program. The program was called Weapons Plus, aka The Super Soldier Program. The 2029 Logan clone/'daughter' Laura is/was called X-23, and X-24 was the male clones designation.
Little known or discussed matter but X-23 is basically an emortal child. Because of her mutant ability being activated as a child she now ages different and because she underwent the Adamantium bonding as a child her bones can't grow either so she is stuck as a child for a very long time and even when she does reach adulthood she will look older but will be stuck in the body of a kid.
not sure where you decided to draw the line what constitues a weapon x experiment... you mentioned Wade Wilson but he was absolutely a Weapon X experiment under the Department K offshoot, whch was still Weapon X. You listed Ajax on the list, under the same program... but no Deadpool.
I know I'm nit picking but, the program was called weapons plus, wolverine was the 10th experiment hence the name weapon X where the X is the Roman numeral 10. Steve Roger's, A.K.A Captain America was weapon one. And so on.
Modern day retcon nonsense. Weapon X was a Canadian program used to experiment on mutants and had nothing to do with Captain America. I hate how comic books are always trying to rewrite the past and mix up storylines, making everything convoluted for no reason.
If they were to bring weapon x into the mcu as a project still ongoing, it just wouldn’t make any sense anymore. With all of the sources or power, technologies, advanced materials, and serums available the government or shadow organizations with deep pockets and knowledge would easily be able to create super soldiers that could go toe to toe with thanos himself. Gravitonium can be infused into anyone granting them power over gravity and also the ability to absorb people and take their memories and powers if they have super powers. They have the centipede serum which at this point could be modified with even more powers, like Spider-Man’s radioactive spider, and the heart shaped herb from wakanda. Samples of blood can be taken from both Steve and hulk or she hulk to make the serum even more powerful rather than simply being modified with banners gamma research. So with just these sources they would be able to inject a modified centipede serum giving the person super strength, super regeneration powers, super senses, super agility, enhanced durability, and heat generation powers. With the super regeneration and healing powers vibranium can be put on their bones similar to wolverine, or they could even infuse them with gravitonium giving them even more power, or best of all both. With all of those things, and an advanced vibranium nano tech suit designed to work with the powers, the person would be a rival for even thanos. Just insanely powerful. Making the avengers pointless. People like Hawkeye.
Weapon H always confused me. After the bonding process adamantium is unbreakable. How did he always transform from normal to big while having a bonded skeleton.
Wow! Amazing stories! The origins of weapon x is a revelation I didn't know until now that the program has been around for a long long time even from almost the beginning and is a part if many characters that are not actually from the program..
My Canon is they all come from Wolverine or Sabertooth genetics. And this led to SSD & Infinity serum and all u mentioned.. Nick Fury is immortal! He will never run out of infinity. The real NickFury not the newer SamuelJackson one.

15:15 : "He was then given the vibranium shield". NO, HE WAS NOT. Captain America's shield was made of the earliest version of ADMANTIUM. When Steve Rogers quit the role of Captain America, the admantium shield stayed with the suit, and Steve became the USAgent, and Tony Stark got him the vibranium shield.
That's blasphemous only barely mentioning Deadpool like they did in this video. Weapon XI deserves a little more attention than the passive mention in this clip
I talked to learn something new about comics about the The Weapon X Plus. More with the X-Men Hoover's top Super Soldier programs cuz Wolverine was number 10. Super soldier to go under program the same way with Laura. I don't know if Sabertooth was one of them as a super soldier Under The Weapon X Program. But we have learned a little bit about Magneto. This powers are quite unstable with magnetism that's to understand why he control Wolverine without the metal within him.
The story reason I learned about why Sabertooth didn’t get admantium was because his healing factor was significantly lower than Logan’s. Adamantium is toxic and greatly burdens healing factors The larger requirement for adamantium with a weaker healing wouldn’t have worked out well
It's not the Weapon X Project, it's the Weapon Plus Program. Wolverine is not Weapon X. He is Weapon 10. Captain America is Weapon 1. you're like 15 yrs behind in the lore.
Technically this video is wrong. Steve Rodgers, Luke Cage, Venom etc were not part of the Weapon X Project. Logan aka Wolverine is Canadian and of Canadian origin. He served as a Canadian soldier/mercenary/agent with the likes of Sabertooth, Leech, Silverfox, Borg, Wildcat, Maverick and other's. They were part of the Canadian special covert operation team equivalent to CIA/SHIELD known as Team X. Funded under the Canadian government's department H secret/spec operations department K. They are the creators of the Weapon X program. Which is the Canadian version of the American S.H.I.E.L.D's Super Soldier program Steve Rodgers and other's fall under. Except it's a bit more sadistic and twisted in its creations and purposes. It was producing mindless killing machines. Not enhanced soldier's and guys like Luke Cage, Steve Rodgers and others. That's why a lot of their experiments failed or were total abominations. With few good results like Wolverine, Deadpool and such. Venom not even a program lol idk what the narrator talking about? He's an alien parasite/host, something totally different. Unless marvel has altered origins of some characters and thing's again. Due to writer's etc which they've done at times.

Brute force is totally radical dude
Maverick's mutant ability is absorption and manipulation of kinetic energy. Very similar to bishop.
I Have to say the Worst weapon x experiment was the one that department H Did to Wade Wilson I mean even subjecting him to wolverine's genome and getting that much tissue scarred scares me
Yep, having super regeneration and yet STILL having scars is like... next level stuff
@@thalmoragent9344 that’s because the healing factor is constantly battling his cancer which also has the healing factor, it doesn’t have time to deal with minor things like scarring…his body is constantly dying and regenerating. Sometimes the way he’s drawn makes it look less like scarring and more like a mass of tumours too
@@deadpool3982
Interesting, now I'm interested in these comics. 🤔
@@deadpool3982 I don't think it's too much per se it has to be scar tissue
Wades regen is tied to his cancer he can’t lose the cancer or he’d lose the regen
Deadpool: "he got ajaks from the dish soap."
X-23 first appeared in X-Men Evolution and was then adopted into the comics.
How does this channel not have 1 million subs yet

Yeah it's kind of a crappy video. And it's really drawn out. On top of having to listen to someone with an English accent
@@tasteslikepennies2549 I bet you're fun at parties
Wow!! I can see that if the MCU did everything comic book accurate all the movies would probably be rated R at least.
Love All your contents .
Thank you for this one. This is one of the few purely original story lines Marvel has had that has needed this kind of treatment.
John Wraith was not code name Mastodon, his was Kestel Mastodon is a totally seperate character.
And if your gonna count Protocide as a failure then Dumbpool should be as well. Garrison Kane was a better success than Wade.
Z
he was kestrel
Um wolverine was practically immortal before the adamantium. Dude was already over 100 and still in his physical prime and without the adamantium his healing factor would be even better
Thank you 😊
Awesome video very cool!!!😎👍👍
It's obvious that it didn't take the writers long to run out with creative or innovative new ideas.

"He killed his brother with a piece of pie"
That can't be what he's actually saying
Isn't Weapon 1 Captain America?
Lol. The second I got done posting this, it came up on the video. Ha.
Actually wasn't. The first weapon X subject was Isaiah Bradley. In TRUTH. Everyone forgets this.
@@nathanxxvii I tried googling this and couldn't find anything, how is this when Steve came first?
@@nathanxxvii I'm seeing protocide from the ultimate universe taking an early version before cap but it wasn't the actual serum just what the serum was before being perfected
@@nathanxxvii I think that version was retconned. Originally Truth: Red, White & Black was supposed to take place outside of the main Marvel Universe but in Young Avengers, Isaiah's grandson, Patriot thought Isaiah came first too. But Isaiah was actually their attempt to recreate the process that made Steve Rogers after he disappeared in the ice. Which is proven by the fact that Steve became Cap in 1941 but Isaiah didn't gain his powers until 1942
Only things more terrifying than Wolverine....
1) Squirrel Girl
2) a Literal Squirrel with Wolverine's metal-Claws
X23 has a adamantium blade in each foot, you also forgot about weapon Alpha (Vindicator), also weapon Omega (Wild Child)!
See what characters i forgot on my latest video
I love this comment section! No hate, just love and passion for comics🤝
I wish we got a live action version of Prof Thornton in the X-men movies instead of Col Stryker.
I believe missed a few characters. Wild child being my favorite. There was also no mention of the weapon X program started out in Canada. Old cannon characters seemed to be left off this list.
g'dayum! I had no idea the ppl behind the weapon x project had their hands in so many character's lives. these are really fun vids to watch, TYVM!
Good list, well executed!
I enjoyed this, thanks! :)
well done, long list, so many future movies and stories ❤
I always thought Sabertooth never got the adimantium because be doesn't need it. His bones heal so fast a bone could shatter to splinters and heal 100% before he could say owe.
He is definitely duped over the metal. He heals just as readily as Logan unless isn't pumped. 🌉
Couldn't have picked a cooler Luke Cage scene
We need a good Wolverine/ Weapon X origin story in the MCU .
Her Bones aren't coated just her claws unless that has been changed.
not sure where you decided to draw the line what constitues a weapon x experiment... you mentioned Wade Wilson but he was absolutely a Weapon X experiment under the Department K offshoot, whch was still Weapon X.
And so on.
he said that in the video, numerous times actually.
Modern day retcon nonsense. Weapon X was a Canadian program used to experiment on mutants and had nothing to do with Captain America. I hate how comic books are always trying to rewrite the past and mix up storylines, making everything convoluted for no reason.
Awesome 🤘😎👍
I really wished they didn't give That Wolverine a Real Origin I like Him As Mysterious!😉☮️
Poor Hawkeye LOL
Excellent presentation and explanation!
Another great video, well edited and great narration 🎉
If you liked this one, check out my latest video. Have a feeling you'll dig it bro
Weapon H always confused me. After the bonding process adamantium is unbreakable. How did he always transform from normal to big while having a bonded skeleton.
Good question.
Superb video sir. You give the narration of a nature documentary/audio book great Intel. Gg
This is why I side with Magneto, Professor X let's stuff like this slide.
What about 0.. the black captain america. Mr I Bradley
Yup. Everyone wants to jump to weapon X ( and they forget weapon 0) Isiah Bradley.
We are the foundation! Real world or dc, marvel, naruto, etc killer b, they way you replied I know you're A.. weeeweee
John Steele was Weapon 0. Rogers was Weapon 1a (1941), Isaiah was Weapon 1b (1942).
Wow! Amazing stories! The origins of weapon x is a revelation I didn't know until now that the program has been around for a long long time even from almost the beginning and is a part if many characters that are not actually from the program..
Why can't wolverine turn to Dr. Strange for help, not professor?
My Canon is they all come from Wolverine or Sabertooth genetics.
And this led to SSD & Infinity serum and all u mentioned..
Nick Fury is immortal! He will never run out of infinity.
The real NickFury not the newer SamuelJackson one.
Dr. Strange would help restore his memory and get rid of the adamantium skeleton
Wolverine was not the 1st already starring off wrong
Wolverine drunk...means a good night for the bartender
@Ken Harris he can get drunk....it's just the amount would kill an ordinary man....
@Ken Harris he's been shown drunk before on more than one occasion for different reasons
@Ken Harris there was a time when he was practically a dope fiend...again...you not gonna out drink him you will kill yourself.
Weapon X isn't Wolverine. It's the name of a number of agents who went thru the Weapon X Project
Thanks for the cool stuff!
I'd rather see a video about the entire Weapons Plus program. We all know what happened to Wolverine.

Is Luke Cage really one of the most recognizable creatures in the Marvel universe?
I know more about him from this video than everything else I've heard about him put together.
Technically, X-23 made her debut in the animated series X-Men: Evolution in August 2003. I mean if you're gunna mention her appearance in Logan, you might as well mention that too.
logans story is probably the most intriguing and compelling of any comic book character ever created
Weapon H is the most backrupt and laziest concept for a comic book character
Yeah for real weapon x project was just tragic and not a good idea. Because weapon x can make them stronger and they may end up killing everyone. Plus it’s inhumane.
Great video, pretty sure you could fit a couple more commercials in it tho. 🙄
Squirrel-verine was a missed opportunity.
originaly in the 90's cartoon sabratooth was gonna get the adamentium aswel but wolverine broke out and destroyed the facility before he could get it,later on in the comics sabretooth got the adamentium but lost it again like you said when apocalypse took it from him and gave it to wolverine who lost it because of magneto, again later on sabretooth got it again but i dont know annything beyond that.
Wish this was more than just someone reading the Wiki entries with pictures in the background.
Wolverine was never powerful enough to take down the Hulk stop it
Wolverine killed hulk
Man, you didn't even mention Garrison Kane, he went by Weapon-X for awhile there...
I remember after *House of M* Wolverine remembered *EVERYTHING* about his true past. When word got out that he regained his true memories mf's got GHOST and committed suicide. 😂😂😂
Great video 🥰.
no wonder Magneto hated humans so much
Hey you forgot to mention X-23’s foot claw. The animantium spike that pops out of her foot
I thought wade Wilson supposed to be one of the weapons
With a Channel This Good U Should Have Time Tabs For Each Character
True.
That aside, give my channel a chance. I think you'll like my content a lot
That's blasphemous only barely mentioning Deadpool like they did in this video. Weapon XI deserves a little more attention than the passive mention in this clip
Okay my bad I'll make a comment once I actually watch the whole video so far so great
I talked to learn something new about comics about the
The Weapon X Plus.
Hence why he is x as in number 10 please do your research next tine
The story reason I learned about why Sabertooth didn’t get admantium was because his healing factor was significantly lower than Logan’s. Adamantium is toxic and greatly burdens healing factors
The larger requirement for adamantium with a weaker healing wouldn’t have worked out well
It's not the Weapon X Project, it's the Weapon Plus Program. Wolverine is not Weapon X. He is Weapon 10. Captain America is Weapon 1. you're like 15 yrs behind in the lore.
Weapon 10 is X in Roman numerals. Hence why they call him weapon x
Wasn't Cyber a Weapon X subject?
Cyber/ Silas Burr was a Weapon X recipient and plausible sergeant to James Howlett until he was killed by Genesis.
