I met BB in 2006ish at casino and he was the most loving and caring person that I've ever encountered in my life. I told him I was raised on Billy Holiday, Elvis and others of his error and he smiled and said that then you gonna be alright! I never knew how much this Man would impact and improve my life but he did! I'm forever grateful and in debt to him!
Best female blues vocals , best slide guitar, and BB, never be another like BB. sure do miss him. Seen him several times in his prime and right near the end. I knew it was the last. Not much true talent like this around anymore.
To have BB King show his appreciation in that way is the greatest tribute that could be afforded to Derek, who is the best slide guitar player I have ever heard - It is a lesson in sincerity and humility that is worth me learning even though I have been playing for 60 years - I love the TTB because everything comes straight from the heart - Derek and Susan are both wonderful musicians and artists, as of course, is BB, and my words here are simply a humble attempt to express my deep respect. I love everything about this - I just love it !
hi YES! I saw him a million years ago when I was young in Melbourne's Festival Hall! I'm 72 years old now! LOL! Shalom to us only in Christ Yeshua who made a New Covenant with His blood.
BB giving love and praise to those who will carry on after he has gone from this world. His respect for both susan and derek is just beaming, a true gentleman, one of the best.....
That's something I always admired about B.B. Whenever he played with other guitarists he was literally curious about their techniqes and I always had the impression he enjoyed great music and talent just like we do although most of those other guitarists looked up to him for his own play.
The blues stays with you until you're dead and burried and maybe beyond. It least heaven's got a new fabolous band by now. I guess B.B. and David Bowie are already jamming for all those who passed this year.
My first stockcar was named after BB King's guitar, "Lucille", my sister Lucy thought I named it after her. I never told her, just rolled with it. BB plays the cleanest =, no finger noise that I've ever heard.
As Penn Jillette, and many others, said -- BB was one of the nicest men in show business. An inspiration to many great musicians. Like Clapton, exceptionally generous sharing the stage with other great musicians. A great artist and a great man. RIP, BB.
Thank you BB for showing me that a guitarist doesn't have to shred up and down the neck to be a good guitarist. You helped me shape my own unique style.
I have heard BB say in interview after interview that he loves all genres and styles when people play from their heart and soul. He also gives special praise to those who can sing and play simultaneously, this was something he could never master after many attempts. I was lucky enough to meet him back in 2008 because I knew the production manager at the theatre that booked his gig. He was truly the real deal, in 5 minutes of conversation I felt like I was with a person I had known personally for years.
met the man, Mr BB King of the blues back in 97 as a press photographer..man he's old and still got a lot of life as long Lucille keeps getting our attention....Derek's not bad at all...
I saw Beebe and Kenny Wayne shepherd when he was very young and 26 black blues artists in Louisiana and Beebe being the big act came on at 1am and I was appalled that people left but I was like hell yeah I will take the seats near the stage and my date wanted to leave and I said well bye bye baby, I ain’t going nowhere and he came out with his horn men and rocked the damn coliseum in north Louisiana. They just don’t have the heart we people in south Louisiana are used to. I had to move as a bebe and am starved for the music. The horn guys were jerking their curls back and forth. I had so much damn fun. Later I got see kenny Wayne with famous old blues pianist pine top Perkins, and he gave free concerts a a local bar, where I danced all night and sang too. Fun times.
I know BB is known for being one of the greats in the blues and guitar world, but for me it's BB's love for the music and the breaks he gives up and coming musicians. Such a cool guy and one of those you wished you could call friend and confidant!
BB King an his boys showed up at a hotel I worked in once many years ago...... talk about the blues, he lived the blues, him and his crew were gentlemen but when I saw his face instantly knew that the blues wasn't just a style of music he played, he manifested the blues. RIP big man.
B.B.'s amazing and inspiring "sting" vibrato was developed when he finally gave up trying to play slide...and tried mastering the way a slide's vibrato sounds (specifically his cousin, Bukka White's sound). It makes you appreciate how much HE appreciates the slide when folks like Trucks digs into it!
I've had the deep privilege to meet BB a couple of times. He is a great and humble man and a tremendous impetus of all that is what we consider American music today. Just listen to what he was doing in the late 40s and in the 50s.
"you know what, in that other life when I come back, if I should change, I'm going to look for you. These guys here. I said, 'when I come back.' I'm going to be looking for Derek..." Welcome back B.B. :)
I was fortunate to see BB King live twice in my life, long long ago. Experiences I will never forget. I also saw the Allmans several times, in their early years, growing up in the South long ago. I remember Butch well, all this history is probably hard to understand for young folks these days. This late tribute combo is so awesome, and yet sort of sad in a way. Susan is great, reminds me of Bonnie. There was a venue in NYC some years ago named after BB King, I think he had ownership in it. It was pretty much always standing room only, I spent a few evenings there. Where is today's equivalent of these great artists? BB King could play three notes on Lucille and change the world. Who else?
" cant hear you out there". We BB thats because Derek had em hypnotized. He has taken the slide to a different level. So clean and mellow and yet soooo funky. And I hear the allmans from time to time. Three killer players.
B .B KING IS THE KING OF THE KINGS . ROCK ME BABY , OUR LIFE IS VERY SHORT , THAT S VERY GOOD. ROCK ME BABY MORE AND MORE. COMME ON BABY, D ONT GO PLEASE, I ll BE VERY SAD . OH ROCK ME BABY .ETC
I had the pleasure of seeing BB live - wow. Great show and then team up with Tedeschi Trucks Bank. Fantastic. I saw Allman Bros 5 times, and I saw Tedeschi in NYC with Buddy Guy and Jonny Lang.
Trucks is possibly the greatest slide player alive. He watched and learned from the best, great Duane Allman, and still using his slide, given to him by his brother.
I met BB in 2006ish at casino and he was the most loving and caring person that I've ever encountered in my life. BB King was a Gift from God.
You know you're in the big leagues when you get to jam with BB King. R I P BB
Let's get some love for the rhythm section. The boys are locked in, feeling tight and all right
Best female blues vocals , best slide guitar, and BB, never be another like BB. sure do miss him. Seen him several times in his prime and right near the end. I knew it was the last. Not much true talent like this around anymore.
Спасибо!

BB RIP
Well said, Bernie!
I feel sorry for anyone that missed the chance to see BB King in concert, they missed something truly special.
Thanks..... haha
Saw him many years ago in NYC, when they first moved the Newport Jazz Festival down there.
Only saw him once, wish it were 100x.
hi
YES! I saw him a million years ago when I was young in Melbourne's Festival Hall! I'm 72 years old now! LOL! Shalom to us only in Christ Yeshua who made a New Covenant with His blood.
That’s their fault
In ~1970 I saw BBKing in concert sitting on a high school gym floor & I wasn't 10 ft away. What a gift!
The way she is singing directly to the king. Melts my heart
This is what music and musicians sound like, pure music, pure talent
When you can make BB King say "have mercy" you know you can put it down!
This is what Blues is all about...
Give Derek Trucks some props, the man can play!
I once saw BB giving a show in Jerusalem, Israel. I'll never forget it. There will never be another BB.
BB giving love and praise to those who will carry on after he has gone from this world. His respect for both susan and derek is just beaming, a true gentleman, one of the best.....
Jon Turbo You nail it! thats what he is doing!!! Spreating out his legasy...
He recognizes what great soulful musicians they truly are.
Two of the best.....
BB King was a very humble man, in the best possible sense.
BB is loving listening to Derek. That's pretty fucking cool.
The young girl in the first row who smiled at everything B.B. said gave me the greatest satisfaction for young blues enthusiasts.
B.B. saying "I wish I could do that". Unbelievable. So nice of him towards Derek.
Um dos maiores bluzeiros
e guitarrista do planeta.
Mmm bb king is no more bb king
Minha resposta esta respondida Ok.

Susan's voice melts my heavy metal heart...
🎼 She is a tremendous, skillful, singer 🎸🎸
B.B. King was in his mid eighties at the time of this recording. Incredible!
The blues stays with you until you're dead and burried and maybe beyond. It least heaven's got a new fabolous band by now.
I guess B.B. and David Bowie are already jamming for all those who passed this year.
That wonderful, dirty-minded old man. :o)
What part, the playful banter with the other performers and audience or the joking around with his band?
AZCobraman he did have a few kid😂😂😂
Wow ,This is the coolest stage performance I've seen ,with Susan, Derick ,& wow BB King At his best. Way to go gang!!!
BB loved Derek's playing and Derek is just so Musically respectful....at all times
Susan's sultry voice is amazing... and with two of the most toneful guitarists ever ... Sure wish I had been there.
I would have been WHOOOping it up !!! I did see him in concert long time ago - unforgettable show!
@@mattadlai-gail1545 c
This music is so great it helps me have a happier spirit every day
B.B. King paying it forward...love this joint set with Derek & Susan. The best.
Even into his 80s, BB was still cooler than the rest. RIP.
Who doesn’t love all 3 of them ✊🏼... BB still watching.. Believe That ! ☮️
B,B, was such a gentleman, and yet gave both Susan and Derek space as fellow craftsmen.
Totally amazing and wonderful for me, how are you doing over there and God bless you?

Susan Tedeschi is my new favorite guitarist. Yes I know this from 7 years ago, but i have just found her
What a song. Rock Me baby Rock Me All Night Long ,,,,,,,,,. That' simple❤
Don't know about you but tears just come pouring out of my eyes when I hear music like this, it's an emotional experience, for sure.
"In my other life when I come back, I'm gonna look for you"
BB we want you back :(
Only the KING of The Blues would be so kind to a couple of young bluesters from my home town ...
Somehow B.B. King can make the Blues feel even that much more Happy.
BB King. Man what a voice and guitarist. A true Mississippi crossroads black cat bone bluesman.
"Gone But Not Forgotten"
B.B. KING - The King of the Blues
🎸🎶🎵🎼🎼🎵🎶🎸
BB King had the huge talent to feel totally at ease on stage... Looks like a jam session in a rehearsals venue xD
Yea, but crowds a buzz kill
Lorenzo Gullotta
to be fair to us mere mortals...BB King played a LOT of gigs. he would tour like 340 days of the year even into his 80s. hahaha. its crazy, really.
When BB King is rockin’ to your music, you KNOW you’ve hit the big time!!
OMG...To be B.B. King for 10 minutes would kill me....What a legend.
Thank you BB for showing me that a guitarist doesn't have to shred up and down the neck to be a good guitarist. You helped me shape my own unique style.
+guitarslinger48 Agree but there's nothing wrong with shredding up and down the neck of a guitar. Prince did it brilliantly.
+Fred Bassett As does Derek Trucks.
+Fred Bassett Never said there was. But people like B.B.King impress me more. Shredders don't impress me.
Ja - sometimes it is not necessary using too many notes. Even Joe Bonamassa has got it. (The song DRIVE and the solo there )

Yea' but.... look how he treated his band at: 38.
BB King an his boys showed up at a hotel I worked in once many years ago...... talk about the blues, he lived the blues, him and his crew were gentlemen but when I saw his face instantly knew that the blues wasn't just a style of music he played, he manifested the blues.
RIP big man.
Love BB forever, but just discovered Susan Tedeschi. She's amazing!!!
Totally amazing for me how are you doing over there and God bless you?
Susan's last 12 bars right out the Clapton playbook, lovely stuff.
Mr. King having some fun with his next generation!
One of the empty seats would be reserved for Duane Allman if he were still with us.
There was three Kings, not four. BB was the greatest of them and lasted longest. RIP. Nice to see the King mingle...
How amazing is this. I so wish I had seen the great BB before he left us. Keep Rocking Susan and Derek!

Greatest Blues Musicians playing at Royal Albert Funeral Parlor.

They're both amazing! I met and got to talk with Derek at a Flagstaff club and he's about the most humble and cool cat anyone could ever meet.
Just listened to the Truck band for the first time on ytube ,it’s 7.45am, nice breakfast, chill down to start the day.
BB King best dressed blues guitar master on the planet, always sharp as a tack and playing and singing from deep in his soul
Does not get any better than this.................rock me baby
BB rules
BB absolutely loved him some DT. Love watching him listen to Derek.
BB Rocks hard! Susan has the same spirit Janas had, and together they are untouchable; the King and Queen of the blues for sure....
if you don't believe that Janis is the queen of soul. the why would BB King make the comment that she is?
I love BB King! I"ve been listening to him for over 50 years! Thank you Susan, for being in the presence of a God!
Instant emotion when hearing Derek trucks plays. That slide is beyond being in the pocket. Masterfull turnarounds so deep
Derek and Susan are a cool couple; he plays out of this world, she’s a soulful blues singer who can play a few licks herself
RIP BB. You were one of the greatest bluesmen ever...
We'll welcome you back with open arms......Miss Ya B.B. !!! You'll never be forgotten!
No Comments, The King Of The Blues!!!
That voice of hers just melts you..... ;) Just like B.B. guitar playing!
I think Linda will be considered the next Bonnie Raitt... I'm hoping anyway.
Always miss BB never be another person like him
Got to see him once in Charlotte and wish I had seen him more. T. & T are great, 🎶, wish they would play near me.🎶 I ♥️

Rest easy, B.B. Think I'm going to be playing a lot of his music today.

Totally amazing for me how about you, how are you doing over there?
He’s was such a humble, and amazing man.....
How can the crowd just sit there like statues....unbelievable
They rather listen to the masters than run their mouth
Japanese audiences are very similar. They take it all in instead of screaming over the mastery.
they listen man, what u suppose to do ?
they are probably high af and decided to chill
Thank you brothers for helping me! Good stuff!
Blues will always the music that touches my heart the most.
Derek Trucks is an incredible guitarist
And TTB is an incredible band !
He is pathetic, self serving, full of shit. Who should really be up there is Larry Coryell.
Derek Tucks is the Best guitarist today period
W. Roberts Dumbass
W. Roberts shuddup assholeface
Damn wish I could have been there!! Love you ❤ all. So great, listen forever!!!!!!
Once of the best live performances of all time.
Totally amazing for me, Hello how are you doing over there and God bless you.
B B King did't have a voice but a musical instrument . I love this music R.I.P. King of blues.
B.B. King knew gold, when he saw it. Because he himself was Gold.
Is no one going to mention how amazing Susan is on guitar?
Agree, i love her plaiyng and guitar sound.
She has a great, bluesy voice but when Derek is playing, you are not gong to pay attention to her guitar playing.
Susan is amazing on guitar 😂🏴
No one will be mentioning this
She's on stage with BB King
The King is gone but the Blues shall live on!
Best "Jam session" ever .... Awesome ☺☺
way to own the game. "It's GOOD to be the king"
Trucks is possibly the greatest slide player alive. He watched and learned from the best, great Duane Allman, and still using his slide, given to him by his brother.
Derek is better at this point than Duane was.
I thank God everyday that I had a chance to see BB King play before he passed. Up to the very end he was truly a gentleman
Dear lawd, how blessed are we to have this vid?
Does it get any better than this? ROCK MR BABY!
BB is for sure having fun
Three legends together, so great.
3 of my Favorites ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
How are you doing today
Damn Derek played with alot of great guitarists
