In this episode, I'll be unveiling the first release from this series - the West Tampa Attic Series Daily Edition, masterfully blended by Rick Rodriguez, the renowned former blender for CAO Cigars. And this is just the beginning, as I'm also teaming up with other celebrated names like Oliva, Oscar Valladares, and Aganorsa Leaf to create limited edition cigars, new iterations of popular blends, and entirely new brands.

So I recently had the Polpetta from Dunbarton, and I have to say the flavor profile is absolutely amazing! I loved it so much, but it's only a 4x48, a very small cigar. Understandably, it's a unique concept, and I'm sure there's a good reason for the small stature, maybe a part of being a "Cuban sandwich" stick, but a larger size with this exact flavor profile would be an amazing project I'd love to see done.
I should add, I've had numerous brands and varieties from Dunbarton and haven't had a blend I didn't enjoy. I recently purchased the RML (Red Meat Lovers) but haven't tried it yet. Saka is the man!

Dunbarton, YES! That Diesel artwork for AZ is 🔥. As far as sizes, more and more I’m drawn to corona gorda/6x48, wish you carried the Umbagog in that size.

I came here for the tips, but literally stayed for the creative process. It's that energy that is so therapeutic to be around!
I could write so much about ideas, but a few off the top of my head:
-bands that are lasered, so that there are holes in and among the design; I'd love to see bands done with flames in that kinda tribal/tattoo way.
-a cigar that's tea like, having hay, cream, and floral nuances, maybe with Kimono motifs, since those are gorgeous.
-is there such a thing as a smoked cigar? Not just fired? Without getting into the BBQed range.
-I know there are boxed samplers, but are there boxed experiences? Like a breakfast, lunch, and dinner sampler? Or a birth, mid life, and end of life sampler? Or the poets choice, or even the elves vs hobbits vs dwarves leaf choice?
I'm really not that experienced with cigars so I really feel those limitations in moments like these. I saw a lineup that was manufactured specifically for the woman's palette, but they were all sold out before my time. I don't advocate for women only cigars, but I thought it was interesting.
I also loved smoking cigars for political reasons, which is what made me pick up the Rabid Rhinos and enjoy them (it was the closest I could get to RINO), but again, I i imagine that's pretty limiting and polarizing.
Anyway, if that helps at all... I just love what you guys do! Please keep up the amazing work!👏

I used to smoke a lot of 6x60. Thought they were very smooth. But now I'm more into robusto or toro.
I love the 6x60 and all the big rings. But I also like to sit out and smoke for 3 plus hours at night before bed. During the day or going out with a smoke I like the smaller ones.

A good fishing cigar usually doesn't roll off the tacklebox. A 60 ring gauge cigar in a trunk or boxpress might be ok for your market. The CAO flathead and the New World might be worth looking into before doing the project. If you're in Arizona, you might be better off with a long golf stick though.
The "Par 6, 7, 8....(Inches)" Might be worth locking in the name and selling it later if it's not taken.

I'm quite disappointed with my experience with West Tampa cigars. I bought 3 different labels from them and was wildly let down by all the hype from there vendors.
Yupm i couldn't agree more. They have put quantity out over quality and for me have lost my custom for a few Years
I only tried one, but I was also disappointed. Flavor was ok, but construction was poor, burn was really uneven, and required constant touch ups. So much good stuff out there, I'm not sure I'm willing to give them another chance.
Thousands of other cigars to try. I hate hype!

Idea Connecticut broadleaf, Mexican san Andreas barberpole with Ecuador binder and filler from Nicaragua and Honduras. It would be a daily edition called the seraphim

The Shape: Parejo
The Size: 6 x 55 (just to be different)
The wrapper: Sturdy and Toothy, like a San Andres (seems to hold up better in my extremely humid climate).
The Flavor Profile: Coffee, Oak, and Cashew on the pallet. Nutty, Cocoa, and White Pepper on the retro hale.

Since you already have a cigar with “cactus” as a theme, the picture you showed for the this should have the cactus a little more with a pop since the cactus might be your future signature. Just saying but I do love the Filthy Viking.
I would like to see more nub style 50 to 60 ring guage sticks. I like a 20 to 30 min stick. I have a hard time finding time to smoke a 1 to 1 1/2 hour stick. Dont care for most of the small cigarillos.

He seemed slightly hesitant to take a draw on camera for some reason...maybe its just me...
after smoking cigars for over 38 years, i realized anything above a 54 ring gauge is uncomfortable to the mouth. when i started smoking in 1985 ring gauges were between 42 to 52, hence my past and present preference for torpedos and pyramides. however, robustos and toros are still good for me. i smoked a 56 ring gauge 2 days ago, it bordered on pornographic and plainly uncomfortable. flavorwise, i gravitate towards the stronger fortalezas of dunbarton and aj fernandez cigars. i used to store cuban montecristo number 2s and cohiba siglo iv as my preferred but celebratory smokes, now they have just skyrocketed in prices, the price to enjoyment ratio have just gone bonkers and i am no longer eager to buy them ( i’d rather burn real benjamins than buying these stogies).
