They’re worth it, 100%, but just as a special occasion cigar not as an everyday smoke. If they had something in the $10-$15 range I don’t know that I’d ever buy something else (yes I would, I love having variety).

For me its Padron and everything else. Really like AJ Fernandez stuff but whatever theyre doing at Padron and perfected over all the years. Dont stop or change a thing. Padron is solid, I've never had an issue with a padron. The 2000, 3000 and 4000 will always have a special place in my heart. I don't smoke them as much today as I did when I first got into cigars but every now and then I have the urge for a musty flavored Padron.

When I first got into cigars it was in Havana on a trip when Obama opened travel there. Coming back to the U.S. after the doors were closed again and the embargo in full force I circled around and around and then found Padron, 1926, and knew this was a close as you were going to get to Cuba and the experience. The consistency of quality, the flavor and the draw were all top notch and they are now among my favorites. Arturo Fuente cigars are now a passion, but lurking in the back of my mind are my Padrons. Always a go to quality cigar. It's a can't miss cigar experience.

Yeah the flavors of the 1964 Principe maduro are so freaking delicious! Definitely one of my favorites. My more of a daily go to is the 3000 maduro and when I have a little less time the 2000 maduro also. Both IMO are hard to beat for the price. Padron has a signature flavor that all their series have. It’s like their factory has been used for so long that the building itself adds to the tobacco. Like a barbecue pit that’s been used daily for decades. I’m from Texas, so it’s what comes to mind lol.

Two cigars were in cellophane and looked fine. The other three were not in cellophane and two had Beatles. Box was sealed in plastic so had to have come from factory with them already in it. My favorite Padrón, well can I say all of them lol. But if I had to pick one I’d say the 1926 Serie Maduro in I think it’s called No. 2 the longest one closer to a Churchill size lol. It’s been a while since I had one so I can’t really remember the sizes. They’re definitely not on the cheap side at 29 dollars and some change before 12% tobacco tax in my state of WV. So they’re definitely a special occasion cigar without a doubt for me. That family reserve 45 year is right there with it, but it’s rather short for me which is why I put the other cigar as my favorite. They are a super premium cigar. With a rolled in tobado construction method, the draw is impeccable. Another point to take note of is the fact that they don’t have a triple cap or a shoulder. Just a single small cap over the head of the cigar. Cutting them is tricky without cracking the head of the cigar. I prefer to do a v cut, with the long side of the box press. That’s the best most reliable way I have found to achieve a perfect cut without damaging the head of the cigar, and causing it to start to unravel. And at that price point, you can’t be to cautious. I find the unique delicious complexity, to be the driving point of the price. It’s like a chalkiness to it but in a delicious way. Like a chalky chocolate. It’s very very very good.

Padron 1964 would be my 1 cigar to bring on a deserted island....if I could only bring 1 that is. Maybe close follower is the 1926 or Family Reserve. Their just sooo good

2 years into the journey. First Padron last month while on vacation. Best smoke I've had to date. Not saying much, but still...
