    Anyone who only just begun with Bryan, should avoid the taunt at all cost until you are satisfied and decent enough with Bryan.

    Bryan's rage drive is also pretty good as a whiff punisher leading to sick damage with a f,f+3 follow up

    For those that don't know while standing is while rising.you press the button during the transition from crouching to standing.

    df+4 WC df+4 is a great set up for juggles as well. b+2, 1, 3 has screw properties, b+4f give you a free sway so you can knee (3,4) or look for the wall splat with 1, 2.

      Ignore the hell out of my original comment. That type of setup will only get you so far, df+3 (because I'm an idiot and didn't realize I hit the wrong number) is sooo easy to see coming and it's super bad on block. The move is 30 frames startup and -26 on block, which gives them time to buy a chicken, raise it to maturity, gather it's eggs and make an omelette before ruining your day with just about any move in their arsenal.

    The another special move after taunt is f+ 2 ,1, 4, B+2, 1, 4, 2.

    • @OnyxBloodStone
      @OnyxBloodStone 7 років тому +5

      there is no B+2, it's just f+2,1,4,2,1,4, and I'd like to say that it's a natural combo, so if the f2 hits all of it hits.

    • @OnyxBloodStone
      @OnyxBloodStone 7 років тому +5

      also out of the taunt you get a third move, it's an extended gattling punches

  • @Kazuya9009
    @Kazuya9009 7 років тому +1

    u can auto taunt from the ff3 (hold), if connects. once u have done the taunt, theres 3 enhancements i know of:
    1) ff2 becomes enhanced
    2) f2,1,4 can be immediately followed by 2,1,4,2. bcos the f2,1,4 ends with different effect.
    3) bu1+2,1,2,1,2,... can now be extended beyond the 12 hits, and ends with 2, instead of 4. buts its really hard to do at that point, not worth it.
    Edit: u can also get auto-taunt post 10 hit combo.

    Can anyone explain when you want to use Bryan's parry? there are a lot of punches it wont stop, is it only good vs jab? Also is it true it doesnt work vs steve at all? Also whats the use of bryan's qcb, can it cause whiffs and if it can vs what? only highs?

    • @t54rt5t2
      @t54rt5t2 7 років тому

      Johnny Darko it works against Steve I have a few matches I've posted against Steve players. The only time it doesn't work is when they use snake charmer after you parry them.

      his qcb moves are really important for whiff punishing (qcb+2,4), pressure (qcb+3) and his ground game (qcb+4)

    There is 1 parry move you missing, if the opponent use the command of 2 attacks, it parries differently.

    a good damage to connect b,b + 4 is f,f + 2
    timing must be correct in order to received the combo and damage. I'm a bryan user since tekken 3. =D

    ws 3 on its own is -10 and ws3,4 is also -10 so both are just as punishable ...bryans rage drive is +5 on block just thought it should be said... other than that great vid!

    • @WillieTheAutomaton
      @WillieTheAutomaton 7 років тому +2

      it's an unblockable taunt that staggers them long enough to get the jet upper.

    You're right , bryans rage drive and rage art are only good to use during a juggle, they are very unsafe to use on their own, easily blocked and slow

    been playing Tekken since PS1. Played every Tekken since then... still never understood the purpose of taunts.
    So why is doing a taunt so important?

    • @stepoku1271
      @stepoku1271 7 років тому +5

      Taunt is ''important'' on bryan because if he hits you with it he gets a guaranteed launch, I think.

      Unblockable. So if the Bryan player has the skill to taunt jet upper you're eating huge damage.

    I ain't hate on you Jae but man this is kinda annoying me 😭😭😭 your making character guides that you don't play 😭 that does make no sense...you make character guide when your very comfortable with the selected character....why do you think Mainmanswe only makes Mishima guides because he knows he can't play the other characters like that plus other good player on make character guide like wakka who mains steve and like stud who mains the Nina....I love your videos man and I've been supporting for time but I don't see the point of you making these guide even tho you say this a basic guide...last thing is it would make sense you just make Bob and Gigas guide because ur very strong with them

    • @prkushroll
      @prkushroll 7 років тому +7

      OtakuTrapBeats in his defense these are BASIC guides, it's meant to just get you started with the character. U can't master a charter through a single video, he is just giving you the basics so you can learn the character entirely. Though I understand the point you are trying to make

  • @shvas2721
    @shvas2721 7 років тому

    Bryan is NOT intermediate, in fact he's tier 1 character- he has everything if you know how to use him and can de-stroy Dragunov with his silly OP f x3+2 stagger move. In your own words: "SO STUPID"..lol.
    On PC there are 2 Bryan's in top 3 rankings, Tekken Lord Prime=Master Cup9 and Ryuin= Knee. Stop spreading lies man and being silly..xD

    • @SF-de7rv
      @SF-de7rv 7 років тому

      I would have to respectfully disagree. Just because you can't beat a character doesn't make him easy to play. He has a ton of tools, but you need extremely good execution to use most of them (such as taunt combos). That's why Knee and Take and most other pro Bryan players don't use him in tournament. Plus most of his damage comes from counter hits, which makes him a lot more difficult to use against patient players with good defense. He is a lot more execution heavy than a character like Dragunov that can be picked up in a couple hours of practice. He is definitely one of the hardest characters in the game to use.
