Entropical [エントロピカル] Difficulty is subjective. I’ve played both Tekken and Melee extensively and would personally say that Tekken is a lot deeper [character specific] knowledge-wise whereas Melee is a lot more technically [mechanics] demanding.
The last Tekken that I really played was 3 and Tag back in high school. Then life got busy for me and years later, I played Tekken 5 on my friend's PSP. I then tried to play 6 but it was very different from I was used to. Now, I'm getting back with 7 but the one character that I mastered since 3 is no longer. RIP Lei Wulong. :(

I didn't know Xiaoyu is for advanced players. I've always picked her as my character since 3. I really like her stance with butterfly and back face. she is weak but very fast. Great video!
Your channel has helped a ton for me making the jump over to Tekken from Mortal Kombat. If any MK or SF players are curious about Tekken, my advice is to just take the plunge. If you can land 15 hit combos in MK then you'll be able to pick up Tekken if you take the time to practice.
I respect the no intros/outros approach. I've never enjoyed them; just get straight to the action. Also, thanks for the excellent advice. Yoshimitsu fan here 🐲
These videos are quite impressive. Compared to some other 3D fighting games, I've always had some difficulty understanding how Tekken plays. I recently got Tekken 7 and am enjoying it a lot, but there is still a disconnect that I have with the fighting system. Because the game doesn't have a tutorial system, I was looking for something useful to help me get on the right path. I think there is some valuable knowledge to be gained from your videos. Even though the game has changed with recent updates, there is still enough here to help build a solid foundation. I still need to work on button timing and better understanding how combos work, but I feel more optimistic by watching these vids. Thanks for your contributions. You're helping to make the Tekken series more enjoyable to other players, myself included.

Is there any list of few juggles for each character? I mean, I know there are combos in the move list, but maybe theres compact version of some interesting combos for everyone.
I'm glad you added the bit at the end about Lucky Chloe. I started playing Tekken at T2 when I was younger and I've loved the franchise ever since but stopped playing after 5 because I stopped playing console games. So I'm back into it with Tekken 7 and I love Lucky Chloe. I'm glad you said that even though she's considered C tier I should stick with a character that I like rather than one which is good. I think I'll be maining Lucky Chloe, Alisa and Lili and maybe be looking to enter tournaments in a few months when the summer has finished at work. Thanks for your videos man.

TekkenPT Always looked at it with interest but never got into the fighting game genre really.Dragunov sleeps with the fishies unfortunately,Hwoarang is best boy now,still trying to find a definite main I suppose,since I'm too fresh to really choose.Going to focus on the fundamentals first,movements,blocking,punishing etc. Huge depth to this game.

Awesome vid. I've always loved the character Yoshimitsu, the design, the moveset, down to the voice acting. I can tell he's going to be really hard to pick up but I'm down to put in the work. As far as secondaries, just Master Raven for now. This game is a lot different from Smash (which I play competitively) so it's going to take some getting use to, but I'll give it a shot.

Played this game at a friends house yesterday and very quickly decided I wanted to play Xiaoyu, not knowing anything about the game (my first time playing a Tekken game, have played a few other fighters though). She was a lot of fun to try and figure out and it was really satisfying winning with her. Really want to get this game and get into practice mode and learn her. Knowing that she is considered to be an advanced character makes me even more interested.

I've only recently really got into Tekken and I've seen that Hwoarang is a difficult character to use but he's the character I feel most comfortable with. Hey I just want to say thanks for these videos! I picked up the game yesterday and this has been pretty helpful! I want to pick up King and/or Armor King and while I knwo they're intermediate for difficulty, I just really like the grappler play style... Any help is appreciated!
