As a Bryan main myself, you covered all aspects of high level Bryan play. Good job AJ. I'd recommend people watch people like Knee, Lowhigh and Super100 to see it in action. Just to name a few
lol is that a serious question dude? it all depends but of course you want to use a launcher if if the opponent is wide open, thats common sense lol, ever seen side step jet upper or even side step iws1? its all after a whiff punish so definitely you want to use the most appropriate punisher
Dude, you're a fantastic teacher.. You demonstrate things so clearly. It's a breath of fresh air as how other guides are so complicated for new comers.
nice tutorial but make sure to keep you notation tight as possible. you called button 3 as 1 a lot of times like a LOT. i got confused as a newbie in tekken.
Thanks for this man, it's really good! Cutting all the unnecessary filler and really highlighting the characters strengths to pay attention to! Thanks! Looking forward to Feng! :)
Thank you for this video! I've been so nervous about taking the plunge into learning a 'hard' character, but this makes me feel a bit better about my choice. The basics don't seem to terribly difficult and with practice a lot of the more difficult stuff can be ironed out.
at around 6:00 you start saying ws1/qcf+1 instead of ws3/qcf+3. easy mistake when youre speaking and playing at the same time and im sure everyone knew what you meant as the move is clearly a knee. thanks for this vid, super helpful!
I have been using Bryan a lot lately after Kazuya got boring and have to say this video is really good! Great job highlighting Bryans most necessary/effective moves... Definitely worth a watch for any aspiring Bryan players. If you want to see a pro Bryan in action definitely search up Knee or "Mr Naps", he's the best Bryan in the world rn.
He also says f+2,2,4 which doesn't exist, but I guess it's hard to make all these videos (live) and remember every character. Also ignore the Katarina fanboi above, best not to stoop to their level :D
at around almost 8 mins you did a 1,4,2,1 but you cancelled the string so you can hide the snake eyes move. i was just wondering how do you cancel that easily? yoy mentioned to double tap the up button but i cant seem to get it. he finishes the 1,4,2 first the side stepping which is very slow. so i just wanna ask at what part of the sequence do you double tap the up button? thanks!
Goethe Fhaust Turn on the recovery indicator in training mode, the thing that makes the characters appear blue when they're doing a move...once they stop appearing blue (or just before it), start the ff2
depends on how high they hit the wall, but say you land a b4 at the wall then you can do fb2 (jet upper) to get a high wall splat, then as they slide down you can do qcf2,1 then 3,2,1,2
GraL9 no problem man, I'm sitting in practice testing stuff and realized that you can do the same thing but instead of qcf2,1 after the jet upper you can do ff2 and it does the same damage and is more consistent due to how high they have to be fore the 3,2,1,2 to hit after qcf2,1
Does anyone like me seem to lose to dumb players you know you should've won then some days your really on point idk I'm so mixed when I play tekken I wish I had a constant flow chart it ruins my confidence in my ability to play tekken I've been playing since 2015 and I've learned a lot but I feel like I still lose to shit I shouldn't lose too
We all have that issue from time to time. A lot of us over estimate our opponents online. We think they're good, but they win by doing erratic things. Don't give players like that respect when playing. Treat them like a scrub, if you can see they aren't too good. Body them, even if you have to resort to scrubby tactics. The trick is to make opponents fear, and respect you. I main heihachi, so I make them fear ewgf, and his good mids. Forced them to play more methodical instead of erratic.
Usually I find that happens when I'm getting lazy on my movement and defense. Tighten those things up and your opponents patterns start becoming pretty obvious, atleast with the lower to mid level guys.

Thanks a lot man! And yes definitely, I've got playlists for all three of them as well aha
AJDaEnvoy dont forget JimmyJTran aka MrNaps, he is the best bryan player ever imo.
Ganji meme it's when you avoid an attack then punish accordingly

And also Dejavu from Korea, one of the best Bryan

I know I was getting confused lol I was thinking his button layout is different?
you dont have to be new to get confused by this, lol.
LOL YOOO THOSE BRYAN COMEBACKS AT THE END WERE OUT OF THIS WORLD! sick vid man
Thanks for this man, it's really good! Cutting all the unnecessary filler and really highlighting the characters strengths to pay attention to! Thanks!

Thanks a lot! I'll get to work on Feng soon :)

Great! Keep it up!
Damn I wish I knew how to move like that at 0:32 but still such a great tutorial keep up the good work bro :)
at around 6:00 you start saying ws1/qcf+1 instead of ws3/qcf+3. easy mistake when youre speaking and playing at the same time and im sure everyone knew what you meant as the move is clearly a knee.

Mr naps is jimmyjtran
for wall splat combo, 3,2,1,2 is better you can do this twice in a row to get 77 damage combo
Good advice!
Appreciate the info homie. Bless up
im kinda new to tekken but is not all of the buttons he say wrong? For example 6:08 he says while standing 1. Isnt that 3?
I didnt mean it like that... I thought i was wrong thinking how the buttons where said what is your problem? Why are you throwing out insults?
He also says f+2,2,4 which doesn't exist, but I guess it's hard to make all these videos (live) and remember every character. Also ignore the Katarina fanboi above, best not to stoop to their level :D
Nice and concise!
MrJamesLame Thanks man hopefully all future tutorials will be the same! :)

you do 1 4 2 1 then tap up as he's doing the last punch to cancel the string
any tips on using grabs effectively
9:00 what is the notation for the elbow move > high punch or the kick
Df 2, 3
17:51 after he did the 1+2, what is the 2nd move/kick?
i meant the 3+4 > what is the 2nd move after that
F F 3, but hold the last F for max damage :)
CALLMEARJ Thanks for the quick reply! Amazing channel btw, instant sub :)
small correction, you hold the 3 not the F
Thanks! please do hworang next :)
No prob bro, alright i'll get to him eventually! Stay tuned! :)
How do you that one move with Bryan which is a triple knee hitting move that is amazing against wall splat players

Goethe Fhaust
Turn on the recovery indicator in training mode, the thing that makes the characters appear blue when they're doing a move...once they stop appearing blue (or just before it), start the ff2
can anyone tell me a good wall splat punish please? i'm new to the game
depends on how high they hit the wall, but say you land a b4 at the wall then you can do fb2 (jet upper) to get a high wall splat, then as they slide down you can do qcf2,1 then 3,2,1,2
Sebastian Cutchall Thanks man I really appreciate the reply

How about Dragunov or Gigas guide, mate?

Arj you are one fucking cool guy man :D
GraL9 Aha thanks bro! Cheers for watching
Who knows the daeth combo of Bryan hit like
Can you make one for hwoarang
Yeah no worries, i'll try to get on that
Can you advice bryan to a beginner?
"he faked it and went for the low parry" lol clearly he fucked up the taunt jet upper and panic low parried
i don't know why he keeps saying 1 instead of 3, but good guide
I use snake edge to end my combos
So if they get hit it hurts
But if the get up
guess what double knees
Gay
wats an oki if someone doesn't mind me asking
Okizeme is referred to when you're attacking someone who's on the ground
Knee is the best bryan player
"practical guide" wheres the notation?! Thanks anyway. It still helped a little bit.
you forgot ff4 mate
Nicees....
HOW IS HE BACKDASHING WITH ONE HAND!!!!
WhizzKid HD
wat
Why would you need two hands?
Is this considered click bait? Beginner to Korean with Bryan but you're not a Bryan player...and you stated in the video beginner to intermediate.
TekkenEnthusiast thanks ill give it a shot. I just clicked off the moment he said he isn't a Bryan player.
I don't blame ya lol
