I've lived in San Antonio for about 20 years , and I went to the zoo in San Antonio many times growing up, I even attended zoo camp for 2 summers, which was awesome. A interesting thing is that the Giant Anteaters used to be located in the Amazonia area, they used to walk up and down the dirt banks.
I love 💘 💗 The San Antonio Zoo 😍 ❤. I used to work there as a janitor. It was a fun job to do.

I’m going to the San Antonio Zoo the day after tomorrow and this is my favorite Zoo in the world.
Those elephants were auditioning for the next Lion King movie
That elephants are probably used for circus, and fun fact those are not African elephant there Asian elephants
I’m not even a huge fan of zoos, but I am a fan of the Legend giving tours

i think i want to go to san antonio and take megabus and goto the river walk ,the zoo and just enjoy the city..but wait to go in the fall .
Please don't take the Megabus. It was the worst decision of my life.
Most if not all (proper) zoos usually have 2 Komodo dragons. However, they usually separate them Bc they WILL have brutal that will, lead to death. That’s why one of the Komodos had an indoor enclosure while the other had an outdoor enclosure.

At 5.54 you say a Speckled Bear, which should have been, a Spectacled Bear. It gets this name from the markings that some of these bears have, which look like spectacles for reading. Any way this is an old name for these bears now days, they are usually called Andean Bears in zoos.

Memories
When I was a child we would visit the zoo. My Dad knew the curator back in the 30s…there was a lion that used to escape and the curator would find him and walk the lion back down the street…

It's odd that they had Asian Elephants in the African exhibits.
Also, that rhythmic swaying is neurotic behavior from boredom.

Depends on the Aquarium and how much time I have. Going to the Georgia Aquarium on Friday
Our aquarium is nothing special. They used an old car dealership and turned it into a make shift aquarium. If he didn't go, he didn't miss much.

This place looks so depressing . Bunch of tiny concrete pits in a 100 degree weather . SA zoo needs to do better
