In the video, you posed the question, "Why don't more people play the Nik Huber Surfmeister?" I think that may have something to do with the price bracket. It's a high-end guitar that is competing with Custom Shop guitars, so there's going to be a limited market. When people spend that kind of money, they've usually been "lusting over" a particular brand for years (if not decades), and I doubt it's been a Nik Huber... no matter how good they are. ✌️🇦🇺
@@joeyjooones I see the Tele shape - looks and sounds great. And hollow guitars are magic. By the way - tested your parallel distortion with my rig and WOW what a tone I got. Thanks!!!
If we all started choosing our guitars based on blindfolded “sound”, we’d suddenly find ourselves more satisfied and with more money in the bank. Every time I buy an upscale guitar, the other half of my brain says “way to go dumbass” 🤓
I wouldn't call it a Telecaster. I think other manufacturers call it a T Shape Guitar esp. if it has humbuckers. Regardless, It sounds fantastic. And some nice playing as usual.
@@joeyjooonesLP specs... • set neck • mahogany body • mahogany neck • HH config • Wraptail • 3/3 headstock • I'm gonna guess closer to 24.75" scale length than 25.5" • It sounds like an LP The only thing that is Tele-like is the upper bout shape, and the lower horn shape. But that's just the front half ; the back half of the body is shaped like an LP: Big, round butt.
Just found your channel and I'm glad I did. Killer playing and tones!
thank you!

Yep, you can not spect a Nick Huber to be a Mainstream Guitar Success...is too expensive and is not from a big famous brand
Telly thinline and les paul’s son?… and Joey, you’re a killer guitarist, I like your style!
thank you giuseppe!
Glorious guitar
You are one of the best dude. Is this video recorded and played through those monitors behind you?
Absoluter Killer Sound, geil Mann👍🤟
Telecaster,- hmmm looks more like a hollow hybrid. Sounds fantastic - especially in your hands.
Thanks.. I think it looks closest to a Tele shape :)

Can’t even find one for sale

Absolutely!
I confess that I need to get over the "logo on the headstock syndrome."
I don’t know where you got the prices but omg 6 grand

Well maybe because of the price....
Anyone convinced Joey dubbed the video with an actual Les Paul hybrid 🤣. Very nice guitar and fantastic weight. Amazing presentation Joey!
Haha. Don’t worry, I don’t have the time to put THAT much effort into it haha.
@@joeyjooones hahaha
That never crossed my mind.
It sounds like an LP style guitar because it IS an LP style guitar.
It has almost no DNA of a telecaster.
@castleanthrax1833 you're on the other side of the fence lol.
Did you actually buy this guitar?
yes I did, 5 years ago!
It looks more like an LP style guitar than anything...
Think so? I think it’s much more Tele-like.

How come only ring inlays? Dolphins also look nice I think… ❤️or maybe too feminine for Joey? 🤭
