I'm late in watching this and I have a Fortrex not an Ultrex. But when watching this towards the beginning you stated that you will get better images by having one of these products. Were you saying in some way that the vibrations cause permanent damage and reduce image quality if you don't have this?
Mr. Doug what would be a good through hull trans. To pair with my helix mega chirp si g2n trans that I have mounted on my jack plate. Thanks Again

Mr. Doug I got 3 mega chirp si g2n 10” units and 1 helix gps g2n 10” unit , a 360 for a fortrex 101 and a 5 port Ethernet switch can I power all of this through a NMEA 2000 system that’s already on my boat from my lowrance units I’m taking off. Thanks for any help on this subject.
Units need to be powered direct to the battery. 5 Port Switch and 360 Imaging need to be on switched power like existing baot power supply for them.
Doug Vahrenberg Thank you Mr. Doug I don’t know what was going on with the lowrance units that the marina installed when I bought my boat but they were both wired to the fuse panels bow and console. Guess that’s why didn’t work all that well Thanks Agian

maybe you can tell Humminbird Marketing, that in my country (Indonesia) maybe only me and some people are using humminbird units. there are still many people here who do not know the extraordinary Humminbird products. whereas Indonesia is an archipelago with the widest sea waters. this is a potential market for Humminbird ..
Do they offer this for the fortrex?
You really don't need with Fortrex because the shaft is shorter and the Fortrex Mount holds the 360 Imaging Lower and less flex.
