  • Not all Tungsten Weights are Created Equal. Here is a Quick Way to Test the Difference. Elite Tungsten Co. uses 97% Tungsten to create Smaller Weight Dimensions and to Increase the Feel. Also the Internal Bore is Polished Smooth to prevent damage to your line without the need to add inserts or worse off break your line. Watch as I show you a Quick Test between two different brand weights...it's shocking how fast low quality tungsten can damage your fishing line. Even if you use the highest quality fishing lines you may be sacrificing the quality by the weight you are using. Get Elite Tungsten at Tackle Warehouse or visit www.EliteTungsten.com

A few years ago I was in a hurry and ran into Walmart to grab glass beads. The only ones I could find were in the crafts dep. I had trouble breaking off that day. So I did this trick and found out that glass beads are not all the same. Thanks a million for the video!

I do too. My family has Massey Ferguson Dealership and I am third generation selling farm equipment there.

Great comparison! For someone thats on a tungsten budget, what couple of sizes are good to start with in flipping and worm? Does an 1/8 of an oz difference that important?

Depends on depth and how you are using. One of my all around favorites is the 5/16 like shown in this video. That is a great size for flipping and texas rigging down to 10' depth range. Over that depth I start increasing the weight for better feel. I also use a lot of 1/2 t o3/4 ounce for Carolina Rigging. Or in matted material the 1 ounce or larger weights. I'd make sure to have some 5/16 in my box that is great weight and all purpose weight. You can get Elite Tungsten from Tackle Warehouse. Don't forget their new heavy duty bobber stoppers to keep weights from sliding too. They best I've used.
