Great video! I was just thinking, many of the negative comments I see in forums on HB Mega Live may be related to the strobe effect from camera FPS vs. the display refresh rate. Any comment on this? Folks compare FB or UA-cam videos they’ve seen to in-person Livescope, and they haven’t seen any in person Mega Live screens.
Hopefully you will provide your suggestions for adjusting the menu settings in each view. Thanks
When installing the transducer, does it have a dull looking black strip that protects the sonar head. Does this strip need to be removed or is a strip at all. When running my fingers down the length of the area in question it seems rough and sticky. Thanks
Great video! Is there any issues mounting the Mega live bracket and wiring to the Minn Kota Ulterra trolling motor w/auto stow and deploy?
The MEGA Live mount is not compatible with Ulterra.

would like to see a video on a helix 9
Can someone help me understand the cone angle setting that is available as a menu option in forward mode on my Helix 10? Also, what is the purpose is the various rotational position available on the transducer mount while in Forward Mode.
Can the mega live be hooked directly into the networking box and send mega live images to all head units connected to the network. I ask because I have a helix 9 at the bow and a helix 9 at the helm. I don’t want to lose the network connection at the bow, kinda defeats the purpose of the one boat network if I have to hook it directly into my head unit via its single network connection in essence disconnecting the head unit from the network. Thanks in advance no one seems to be able to give me a definitive answer. I hope you know.
Yes it gets connected to the 5-port Ethernet switch and can be displayed on all networked units.
