While I didn't succeed at the five listings a day, I did get in the habit of listing consistently with good results. Joining in with others, and you and Mark made a big difference. I also branched out a bit and discovered that I most enjoy selling ephemera; in particular, postcards. I love vintage and quality hard goods, too, but I'm never happier than selling a postcard. This is my favorite reselling channel and the only one I watch anymore. Your home and location are beautiful! Thanks for everything!

Mark's toys look pristine, I have never seen vintage toys in such great shape. Your home is beautiful, you both are so talented. We just sold the third home we renovated and have moved into a 2 bedroom home, from a 4 bedroom home. My husband is already talking about some renovations, I am not ready for any more projects.

Our house was built in the 1950's and it was lived in by just one owner. He was a handyman's nightmare. Everything except the bedrooms were brown paneling. We painted al of it over the year and any repairs were done poorly using very cheap materials.. We gutted the bathroom and the kitchen when we first move in. You have a beautiful home thanks for sharing.
Oh yes, we were down to this house and one other. The "other" was just like you said, "a handyman's nightmare." Sounds like you've made a lot of progress. Thank you, Carole!

Oh my goodness those toys! How wonderful that Mark's mom savdd everything and everything is in such wonderful condition. We had some really cool toys growing up but my mom saved nothing. She cleaned out our rooms every year and sold everything at a yard sale each Summer. Us kids despised yard sales because of this. Looking back, I do realize that we had very limited funds and she needed that money for groceries and back-to-school clothes for us.
I know, his Mom was so precious for thinking ahead and saving Mark's toys for him. I have my Barbie's but not much more. I hear you about the garage sale cleanouts. Thank you, Laura!

It was particularly fun for me to see that artwork in your hallway of the cranes. I had found that at an auction years ago gave it to my mother-in-law. She had it on her wall for quite a few years until she moved into assisted living and had limited wall space. I never thought I'd see that in someone else's home!

I have enjoyed and learned so much through boot camp. I was definitely inspired! I just couldn’t do it in the summer. The farm and all the gardens took my time! However the last few weeks I’ve started listing, but was still irregular. The last week or so I’ve been listing daily. Boot camp is happening for me now. I’m listing 5 per day and I have a bank of drafts. You did a great job on these videos and im thankful. Im starting to get the benefits, but the confidence these give is benefiting our business! We have six kids. Three grown, three still home and our big kids have given us 15 grands. My husband just retired. I homeschool, farm and eBay . Looking forward to the future!!

Hello to both of you and all your viewers! I have been part time on ebay for 4 years, more involved now since we opened a bigger store in January. August was our best month this year with almost $600 after all fees, postage, and costs. Our 2 biggest sales, 4 rolls of out of print new wallpaper for $192 (these were $5 a roll at a thrift) and an antique French ashtray of my grandmother's (0 cost). Overall it worked out to be more than 1 sale a day. I haven't listed every day due to back and leg issues and going to therapy but listed more this month than in a lot of months. Your videos have given a lot of inspiration and pushes that I needed so thanks for being there ♥
Woo hoo 🎉 Still sticking to my 5 items a week or more. (I’m a full time teacher and single!!!!) Also adding in sending about 15 things a month to an auction house. Today transitioning from tubs to shelves. It’s a big , big job after being at school all day exhausting!

great toys. I remember the crow from cartoons. I would have a hard time letting them go, except that I too am at the age that I know I don't need all this stuff any more. Love your paintings that you painted as well. You are a talented artist, Vickie! I too, like to paint and I especially like doing watercolors. Every year I like to enter my artwork and handmade items into our local fair for exhibit in their Roundhouse. I do it for haha's... and every year, I have gotten a ribbon or two! It's fun! I'll keep your posted if I get a ribbon this year. I know, I'm being a bit "bragadocious"...But, at 71, I can be anything I want to be, right? Haha! And, like you, I also make jewelry from broken china dishes and then I solder the edges with sterling silver soft solder. I love creating unique things!

Great job with Reseller Bootcamp! Your home is lovely! Went to several tag sales in my area the last 2 Saturdays with a friend of mine, and we had such fun and I got so many good items that I know I will do well, and the prices were way better than the prices at our local thrift stores right now. Granted, I have work to do cleaning up some of the stuff from years of dust, etc., but I honestly don't mind the work in cleaning and listing. Got several items for Christmas, and "Yes", it is my goal to get them listing soon. Thanks again for a fun video!
Your views are gorgeous! I have those exact same orange counters currently. We've lived in this house, our final house, for 9 years with those darn orange counters. I do not like the color orange so I'm really wanting them changed. Our house is a definite work in progress and much of it is still from the 40s with nothing bring square, lol. We have a finish goal of Jan 1, 2027 to have everything complete. Floors will be changed out here very soon to be done in time for Thanksgiving this year. I absolutely agree that the window and door finishings make all the difference. Beautiful work.

Thank you! We moved here for a lower "cost of living." We bought an older home (before prices skyrocketed) and lowered our mortgage payment to 1/3 of what we used to pay and lowered our property taxes to less than 1/4 of what we paid in OH. Plus, no state sales tax. (we also don't mind less snow...LOL)
What a great video! Your home is beautiful, I envy it. If you had your life to live over would you have had eBay as your main job from the beginning? I’m 50 and husband 54 we just moved into our second home because we have grown as resellers and we want eBay to be our retirement jobs. THe down fall is another 30 year mortgage.
Hum. While I love the freedom of reselling on ebay, I'd have to say, "no." All the skills I learned over my younger years (up to age 40) have helped me with ebay AND UA-cam. Also, I have Social Security that I wouldn't have if I had only worked ebay from a young age. Ebay is not our "retirement." It is a "supplement" to our retirement. Mark is a retired teacher with a pension and I have, as I said, SS. There are no guarantees with ebay when it comes to income. It's good to have other income so that selling on ebay is not a high-pressured "job." It is a lot of work but so much fun when we hear "cha-ching!" We too took out a 30-year mortgage when we moved to TN. The good thing is we reduced our mortgage to 1/3 of what we used to pay and our property taxes are less than 1/4 of what we paid in OH. Thank you for your home tour, very very nice and warm feeling. I don't know if you realize it, but when mark talks you have a tendency to cut him off and not let him finish talking. You did it quite a bit in this video.

That’s the first time he ever used the word “loved” in referring to my videos. It’s sad to me that you felt the need to insert yourself into our marriage by saying what you did. We invited you into our home. Every time I make a video, I feel like I invite viewers into our home. If you can’t imagine walking up to the host of a party and telling them what they are doing right or wrong in their marriage, why would you do it here publicly? I feel sad for you and disappointed that you would critique me and my interaction with my husband. If it is your goal in life to, perhaps try to take the joy out of other peoples relationships by inserting your opinion on what they are doing right or wrong, I suggest you focus on your own relationships instead. You add videos just like you insert a photo. Take the video (try to have a quiet/no talking background when making the video) and insert it. There's a place to do that. At least on a desktop. Haven't tried with a smartphone. Thanks, Karen!
That’s probably the difference. I take photos with my phone but mostly list with my lap top. I would have to figure out how to get my video from my phone to laptop. Thanks!
You need a Sandisk or a way to connect your phone to your laptop. Check out your local Walmart if you don’t mind shopping there in the electronics department. Tell them what you want to do and let them know what type of phone you have.

August was our best month this year with almost $600 after all fees, postage, and costs. Our 2 biggest sales, 4 rolls of out of print new wallpaper for $192 (these were $5 a roll at a thrift) and an antique French ashtray of my grandmother's (0 cost). Overall it worked out to be more than 1 sale a day. I haven't listed every day due to back and leg issues and going to therapy but listed more this month than in a lot of months. Your videos have given a lot of inspiration and pushes that I needed so thanks for being there ♥

great toys. I remember the crow from cartoons. I would have a hard time letting them go, except that I too am at the age that I know I don't need all this stuff any more. Someone out there will love and cherish them. Trying to get my retired husband to start doing the photography for me, but so far no luck. Very nice home.

Love your paintings that you painted as well. You are a talented artist, Vickie! I too, like to paint and I especially like doing watercolors. Every year I like to enter my artwork and handmade items into our local fair for exhibit in their Roundhouse. I do it for haha's... and every year, I have gotten a ribbon or two! It's fun! I'll keep your posted if I get a ribbon this year. I know, I'm being a bit "bragadocious"...But, at 71, I can be anything I want to be, right? Haha! And, like you, I also make jewelry from broken china dishes and then I solder the edges with sterling silver soft solder. I love creating unique things!

Great job with Reseller Bootcamp! Your home is lovely! Went to several tag sales in my area the last 2 Saturdays with a friend of mine, and we had such fun and I got so many good items that I know I will do well, and the prices were way better than the prices at our local thrift stores right now. Granted, I have work to do cleaning up some of the stuff from years of dust, etc., but I honestly don't mind the work in cleaning and listing. Got several items for Christmas, and "Yes", it is my goal to get them listing soon. Thanks again for a fun video!

Your views are gorgeous! I have those exact same orange counters currently. We've lived in this house, our final house, for 9 years with those darn orange counters. I do not like the color orange so I'm really wanting them changed. Our house is a definite work in progress and much of it is still from the 40s with nothing bring square, lol. We have a finish goal of Jan 1, 2027 to have everything complete. Floors will be changed out here very soon to be done in time for Thanksgiving this year.

We bought an older home (before prices skyrocketed) and lowered our mortgage payment to 1/3 of what we used to pay and lowered our property taxes to less than 1/4 of what we paid in OH. Plus, no state sales tax. (we also don't mind less snow...LOL)

What a great video! Your home is beautiful, I envy it. If you had your life to live over would you have had eBay as your main job from the beginning? I’m 50 and husband 54 we just moved into our second home because we have grown as resellers and we want eBay to be our retirement jobs. THe down fall is another 30 year mortgage.
Hum. While I love the freedom of reselling on ebay, I'd have to say, "no." All the skills I learned over my younger years (up to age 40) have helped me with ebay AND UA-cam. Also, I have Social Security that I wouldn't have if I had only worked ebay from a young age. Ebay is not our "retirement." It is a "supplement" to our retirement. Mark is a retired teacher with a pension and I have, as I said, SS. There are no guarantees with ebay when it comes to income. It's good to have other income so that selling on ebay is not a high-pressured "job." It is a lot of work but so much fun when we hear "cha-ching!" We too took out a 30-year mortgage when we moved to TN. The good thing is we reduced our mortgage to 1/3 of what we used to pay and our property taxes are less than 1/4 of what we paid in OH. It’s sad to me that you felt the need to insert yourself into our marriage by saying what you did. We invited you into our home. Every time I make a video, I feel like I invite viewers into our home.
If you can’t imagine walking up to the host of a party and telling them what they are doing right or wrong in their marriage, why would you do it here publicly?
I feel sad for you and disappointed that you would critique me and my interaction with my husband.

You add videos just like you insert a photo. Take the video (try to have a quiet/no talking background when making the video) and insert it. There's a place to do that. At least on a desktop. Haven't tried with a smartphone. Thanks, Karen!
That’s probably the difference. I take photos with my phone but mostly list with my lap top. I would have to figure out how to get my video from my phone to laptop. Thanks!
You need a Sandisk or a way to connect your phone to your laptop. Check out your local Walmart if you don’t mind shopping there in the electronics department. Tell them what you want to do and let them know what type of phone you have.

How do you cross post your listings?
Manually. I just opened up the other platforms and start a listing and insert the photos. Hope that helps and thank you, Heather!
