On the way to LAX on La Cienega, there's a big donut they also sell Donuts it's a building with a huge donut on the top... an architectural Wonder... famous for its look...Laxvespa--LosAngeles
I would love that! Here we have Pal’s and they have huge hotdogs or hamburgers outside of their fast food buildings. Now you’re gonna made me hungry for a donut! Lol.
Oh my gosh, yes they are wonderful people. We look forward to seeing them several times a year. Yes, the white table could have been handy for photography. We’ve got a pretty good set up that works for us. Thank you!
🎉 I love Troyers. I live an hour and 30 minutes away in North Carolina, but our daughter, son-in-law and new grandbaby live nearby in Greeneville, Tennessee. So often times we will meet up at Troyer’s to shop and have lunch there and get a doughnut or two and take them home back over the mountain.
I love watching your church rummage sales. I've only been to one and it wasn't very good. The place I work is having supply issues so we're laid off. Now I have plenty of time to list!
I forgot to ask about the Dansk children's plates. I am a glass collector and have never seen them before. Did you find out anything about them? I was just browsing your store. Congrats to Mark the photos are wonderful!!
The plates are not worth as much as I had hoped. About $15 each and they are quite a few out there. “VTG Tiara Indiana Glass Golden AMBER Nursery Rhyme Plates” Fingers crossed we sell some eventually. I’ll let Mark know and thank you, Pat! He does do a great job photographing!
How is love a church rummage sale or two! Watch all the way to the end because we share when I’ve dubbed “VLOG along!” Thanks for watching, commenting and subscribing, Vickie & Mark ~ Avante Avenue
Such a fun time of year to be out thrifting and shopping for goodies, right? The Dansk should do well for you as I have some and I have sold items in the last several months that were marked with that branding and did well. Is your "Corn Meal Mush" also called "Polenta"? I have been trying to look for it at my local grocery store but may have to go to like a Whole Foods type store (very much like the store you were in when you picked it out of the freezer). Your treats that you bit into at the end of the video look very delicious! So, in my Ebay experience for the week, I had to do a refund. Sort of strange one as I first declined the return because Ebay said I was not obligated to return the item (a Ralph Lauren signature leather woven Men's belt and I had listed that it was 43"). Well, after declining the return, the buyer writes me and states that I "must accept the return and refund him or he will report me to his CC company and claim fraud as he states the belt was 40" and not 43". Said his waist is 40" and it would not fit him. In wanting now to just rid myself of all this,, I did a full refund to him right away and also asked that he consider leaving decent feedback on the whole transaction. He said he would pay to send the belt back and that he would also do a positive feedback. My issue with the whole thing is that 3 different places in my listing it reads the belt is 43". But, the strap of the belt was 40" and the buckle made it 43" My bad I guess! But wouldn't you think that if you know your waist is 40" and the belt reads 43", you know that it is not going to fit you as you would only have the 3" of buckle left and not enough strap to go through the prong and give you some slack and ease in wearing! Anyway, consider another lesson learned I guess! I did not want to battle back and forth on this one and I sensed it could go south in a New York minute. I have not received the belt back as yet either. I should see it any day now, or maybe I was taken for a ride here...What's your take on this?
Mush is firmer than Polenta and sliceable. I air fry it and we top it with maple syrup for breakfast. As to your buyer issue, I doubt you’ll receive the belt. I would hand responded, “extortion is prohibited on ebay and I will be reporting your message.” Then if you want to accept the return, no refund until you receive and inspect it. Refund is minus outgoing shipping and buyer pays return shipping. If you hear anything else or get negative feedback, report the buyer. They “might” remove the feedback but don’t count on it. Never refund until you have it in hand or unless you feel you’ve done something wrong and then they can keep or donate. Hope that helps.
@@AvanteAvenue Thank You, Ya, I panicked on this sale because I have worked very hard for my good status and feedback thus far. I will be more mindful moving forward. Thanks again

Thank you, Amy!
My favorite parts of this video are the background music and the donuts. My mouth is watering. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, Pat! The donuts were delicious!
Gene and Shirley seem like a sweethearts. I would have bought the white table as a lift for photography.

Thank you! We had fun. Hope you did too.
Watching this video is making me homesick for my Illinois roots! That church and churchyard could have been in my hometown.
Sorry to make you home sick. But glad you enjoyed the views and the church. Thank you, Jo!

Love ALL the hearts!!!1 Thank you, Clarissa!
The second sale had a red Waterford crystal box. Didn't see that you looked at it. Maybe it was empty.
I completely missed it, so I don’t know if there was something in it or not. Thank you, Michelle!
Thanks for taking us along. About how far are you willing to travel for rummage sales? It seems you have quite a few to choose from!
Thanks for joining us, Lynne! Most sales are within 15 to 45 minutes. I love that many churches have annual sales and we look forward to them!

Thank you, Fran!
My late husband used to say, " I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck." I was hoping you'd buy that! Great memories😊
My heart goes out to you, Maxine. Thank you for sharing your sweet story. I had never heard the part about a hug around the neck. Thank you!
